Neither a brilliant nor a pathetic day here. Having to leave Octordle until I got back did no real favours. So Wordle in 4, Quordle in 7 with a score of 22 (6, 5, 7, 4) and Octordle in 12 with a score of 67.

My sister tried to get me hooked on Latin Wordle. I did a few, but by that time I'd exhausted all the vocabulary I could remember from O level.

I've still got it! (NB I had a lot of tries where it told me I’d picked an invalid word, it was more guesswork than anything. I shan’t be doing it again in a hurry)

Wow! I am even surprised that you could think of a 5 letter word to start you off, since the Germans like to string words together to make much bigger words. I haven't done German for years. Ich verstehe mehr als ich spreche.

Mediocre for me today. The American spelling caused me to sit scratching my head trying to think of something to fit.

Same here.
Had to walk away from Wordle and come back to it. Funny how you can be totally stumped and then come back to it and see an option straight away.... even if it turns out not to be the right word.... I was certain it would be 🙄... but it gives you enough to get the correct word.... even if it is another US spelling! 😡

Anyway, Wordle in 5
Quordle scraped through with 2 options on the last life but luck was on my side this time.... 9 7 3 5 with a score of 24
Octordle with one life left and a score of 65.

Total for the day 94

Only done Wordle in grim 6 so far but Libre is eating my battery!

Got better as the day progressed. Wordle in 6, Quordle in 8 with a score of 26 (7, 5, 6, 8) and Octordle in 11 with a score of 60. Total score 92.

Got batter as I worked through them and potentially one of my best days. Wordle in 5, Quordle in 7 with a score of 20 (7, 4, 3, 6) and Octordle in 11 with a score of 53. Total score 78.

Oh, I am definitely swooping in and claiming an award alright!.... An equal personal worst wooden spoon award here!
The only thing I can say is that I was very consistent and all 3 went down to the wire...

Total for the day is a whopping 105 I believe... but considering how badly I have done, I wouldn't put it past me to fail on the mental arithmetic as well! 🙄

Started OK but went downhill rapidly. For Wordle in a reasonable 4, Quordle to the wire with 27 (9, 4, 6, 8) points and ran off the end of Octordle with a score of 74. Total 105! Some strange words today and one considered unacceptable in polite society but then we are Brits not Yanks!

Similar to yesterday. Lucky to get Wordle in 4, though 😳 Also, like @MikeyBikey I am not convinced that some of these words are anything other than Americanisms.
