Wordle - Quordle Thread

Mixed bag today. Wordle in an average 4. Just scraped in with Quordle with a score of 28 (9, 6, 5, 8) and was lucky with my last guess as it was 50/50! Excellent Octordle for me - score of 52 in 10 moves

The other day one word was MANGA and interestingly it threw out my first guess of MAGNA! Might throw in a CARTA one day. King John would not be pleased!

Yes, I crashed and burned last week with GAMMA on my final life and it was MAGMA. Very frustrating! 🙄
 
Doing puzzles before bed again....
Got a flier with Wordle as had 3 yellows in my first word and then had a flash of inspiration to get it in 2!
Quordle 4 8 7 6 with a total of 25 and one life left.
Octordle with one life left and a mediocre score of 61
Feeling sleepy now so off to bed...
 
Better for me this morning than yesterday, albeit not in any way record-breaking.

OKish this morning, would have liked to have done better on Octordle.

Quordle in 8,6,4,5
Octordle in 72 at the last gasp, again, a couple of wrong gambles early on.
 
Not a brilliant day! Wordle in 4 and Quordle and Octordle both to the wire with scores of 26 (9, 6, 7, 4) ans 66 respectively! Went wrong way twice in Octordle! :(

Pretty miserable for me this morning. Scraped Wordle in 5 and bombed on the other two. Odd word choices this morning.

Can't believe I got Wordle in 3 this morning! It was divine inspiration for sure!
Crashed and burned with Quordle on the bottom right. I had 4 green with 2 lives left but 4 possible letters that would work. I toyed with using my 5th life to narrow it down to 2 as I couldn't think of any words that contained 3 of the 4 remaining options, so it still wasn't going to give me any certainty for the last life, so decided "no guts, no glory" and just went for it.... and of course, both my choices were wrong! 🙄
Then equaled my personal best of yesterday on Octordle

Wordle in 5 this morning.
Only got round to Quordle and Octordle after half a bottle of wine this evening. It definitely did me no favours on Quordle, which I failed dismally, but I rallied on Octordle and got 65 with one life left.
 
Utter disaster this morning, apart from a passable Quordle score of 23. Better luck to the rest of you!

Well at least I finished them all....
Wordle in 4
Quordle was my best effort of the day with 4 3 6 7 so a total of 20 with 2 lives left.
Octordle on my last life and a score of 68.
 
Very average to poor day for me. Lucky start with Wordle in 3! 🙂 But then down hill. Surprised myself by getting a score of 21(6, 4, 3, 8) in Quordle as a few incorrect guesses. Octordle with a score of 68 and one life to spare after a slow start. Oh well, tomorrow is another day even if it sometimes feels like a repeat. :(

Poor again this morning, thanks for wrong option taken in 50/50 decision. Oh well, such is life. Better luck all of you.

Wordle in 6. Down to the wire!
Quordle in 5,7,3,8.
Octordle in 66 with one spare life.
Nothing amazing, but I scraped through.
 
Wordle in 4
Just scraped through Quordle on last life after a good start. 6 9 3 5 with a total of 23.
Better at Octordle with 2 lives left and a score of 56.
 
Well a flying start with Wordle in 2! I wanted to try the vowel I had not used and had a very lucky guess. I then used this as the second word for Quordle and Octordle. I got Quordle in 8 with a score of 22 (3, 4, 7, 7) after bogging down in the middle! :( Octordle in 11 with a score of 60. So a better day overall! 🙂

Better for me today than yesterday. I would have liked to score better in Octordle, but overall not a bad start to my day.
