Wordle - Quordle Thread

Thought it was going to be another big score day, but I got better as I went on thankfully...

Got there in the end! A reboot did not work but shutting down and leaving for ten minutes did although now Libre is playing up. I am semi-convinced they reference the same Android module. Score on second go on Octordle but a few goes later had too many options.

Total Score 83! Puts me back to Mikey in the Middle!
 
Well, I had edged in front of Rob after Wordle and Quordle and was doing reasonably well in Octordle but then it all started to unwind half way through and I was left with 4 possible options for the last word and only 2 lives, so the odds were stacked against me and I failed at the finish line.

Did Wordle and Quordle in the early hours but left it at that. Saw this morning I was level pegging with @rebrascora at that stage and everything to play for! :rofl: Whilst after the first three words I was heading for 52 I hit some black ice and skidded to 59!

Total Score 81! (feel that old after a bad night!) :(
 
Arghh! Giving up for tonight. Wordle to the wire and that was a lucky 50/50. But then far to many choices in Quordle and ran out of guesses after getting third word but had three possible for the last word (probably more but I am no WordSmith like @Rob Oldfield and my sister - but while my sister has had short stories published I have been published in technical magazines and had a quiz published in a magazine on Thursday).

Good solid middle of the road for me. I’m sure Wordle is getting harder, I used to reckon to do it in 4 regularly, with the occasional lucky 3, but I've taken 5 or 6 regularly for a while now, and so have the rest of the family.

Octordle in 11 for 53 🙂

If I assume it would have taken two goes to finish Quordle my Assumed Score is 6 + (8 + 4 + 9 + 11) + 53 = 91!
 
Well an improvement on my DNF yesterday but not by much...

Wordle in 4 although unlucky not to get it in 3
Quordle to the wire for 9 5 8 4 =27
Octordle for 64

Gives me 95
