Wordle - Quordle Thread

Typical inconsistency from me. I think my last few days results have been first, then 2 x DNF lasts and today I am going to take some beating, as I hit a bit of a purple patch. I am guessing they must be easy ones today.

I was so close to getting it in 9 too!

3+14+53 = 70

Curious if anyone has ever achieved a sub 70 total?

Cannot recall doing so but Mr Wordle may have. The lowest possible winning score is 47 so a way to go yet. The highest is 112 so we all have been close a few times!

Just finished and nodding off as had to take strong pain killers for Phantom Pain and a sore right foot!

And there was me thinking I'd done OK with a 75 today! Quordle first with a 5, 4, 6, 3 for 18, then a 52 on Octordle and a 5 on what I think is a tricky Wordle.

Think I've gone under 70 twice(?)

A day full of options and not a great deal of luck choosing which to go for.....

5 on Wordle, then 8, 4, 3, 6 for 21 on Quordle and an Octordle 56 for an overall total of 82 to match @rebrascora

Went to bed early as early doors Physiotherapy in the morning but woken by Phantom Pain for the third day in a row after as many nights pain free! Theories on a postcard...

Had all 5 letters and a choice of two words and went with English spelling. Rest later today.

Other games tomorrow. BTW I now have a NYT subscription as only 50p/week!

Wordle, a wrong 50/50 on the last word cost me a life. A good start on Quordle , but got bogged down in the middle. Octordle, I was dreading one word as early on I could see a choice of 3 possible starting letters, but I ignored it til the end, and it had resolved itself into only one possible.

My two default stater words gave me nothing useful but the third opened then up and I scored with every word from 4 onwards!

Good Wordle and Octordle here, but Quordle not so good. Wordle was a 3, but then had to resort to an elimination word to ensure I finished Quordle so a 6, 7, 9, 4 for 26. Octordle was good but ran into a couple of late options so again played safe for a 54. Total of 83.

Not a good night for me. Maybe taking strong painkillers and using the Wordles as a distraction is not such a good idea! Everything to the wire bar Wordle where I only had one life left! Fortunately scored early in Octordle before it went off track!

Managed the dubious distinction of failing Quordle AND Octordle this morning. So, just a 4 for Wordle to show for my pains.

Well, it looks like I could have been in with a chance of the honours today if I had been bolder. I could have had a 2 in Quordle to give me a much better start but I didn't have the courage of my convictions to go for it and then I also had an anagram which cost me another life in Quordle and I had one in Octordle too, so feeling a bit hard done by, but I suppose I managed to scraped through them all, so shouldn't complain.

Off to a great start, but a poor finish gave me a disappointing result (2+26+62=90). Challenging set of words this morning.
