Wordle - Quordle Thread

Disappointing result here (4+26+70=100). Clearly I should have taken a break after finishing the cryptic crosswords in The Guardian and FT. Oh well, at least I finished so that’s something...

Update: Weekly challenge completed (CAROL) with score of 21.

Quordle 7 5 6 4 = 22
Octordle to the wire for 74

Just scrabbling in ahead of @littlevoice359 with a total of 99

I then flunked the Weekly with a choice of 2 on the last word and only one life and I double bluffed myself and went with the option I wasn't drawn to. So it's a DNF for me.
 
Started with Quordle today with a nice 4, 5, 3, 7 for 19. Octordle next for 57 and finished with a 4 on Wordle for a total of 80.

Carol's weekly came through with a 4, 5, 6, 3 for 18. Very lucky as 3 of those were coin flips.
 
I keep considering posting on this thread then am rubbish at one of the games. My sister and I email each other about wordle and Square word. I chose a different start word each day but she has had the same vowel filled word for ages. Today I got wordle in 2 finished quordle and the weekly challenge but wasn't sure which octordle you play. Merriam Webster or the other one? I often do it in Spanish

Last week I failed to finish wordle twice.

Wordle in 3 today. Good word 🙂

For those that haven't tried it highly recommend Waffle and The Guardian's Wordiply. Both great word games. Waffle is surprisingly difficult sometimes, particularly to get 5 stars.

Morsle for anyone mad enough to want to try morse code is fun.

Need to get back into Quordle and Octordle. Will do them now.

I'll chuck Nerdle into the mix too. A maths version of Wordle. Can be quite taxing and I always get a bit cocky when if I complete it
 
I’m a total puzzle fiend, I do the ones we compare on here first thing while I’m having a cup of tea in bed, then I do Globle over breakfast because I swap scores with my son for that and Wordle. Then over cup of tea at some point in the day I do Waffle and Wordiply, I think they lend themselves less for comparison, so I do them non competitively just for me.
Today was my usual safe and steady, though I did get bogged down in Quordle in the middle.

Total 90
 
Wordle and Quordle done before I was picked up, and Octordle wither side of Podiatry appointment. Overall very average.

Wordle in 4
Quordle in 8 for 23 (5, 7, 8, 3)
Octordle in 12 for 66

Total Score 93!
 
Did them last night whilst hypo and made a right mess of them, so I am claiming my wooden spoon once again.
