Wordle - Quordle Thread

Eventually got back to Wordle and it was working fine tonight and the 3 words I had used enabled me to be certain of it at my next guess, so it was a 4 for me.
Final score is 4+21+57 = 82 ... so just snatched the lead from Rob at the end of the day!
 
I had the opposite experience of @Robin today in that I started poorly and got progressively better. Was unlucky not to get a sub 50 Octordle.

Think I might snatch the Spoon of Wood from you! Waiting on transport for Physiotherapy and cannot really focus. So far have taken Wordle and Quordle to the wire so leaving Octordle till end of physiotherapy or late afternoon if I don't het there again. Have already put in my third complaint in a month, and if they screw up today or tomorrow it is going to the next level with the one after that being my MP!
 
A four on Wordle for me, then a 6, 2, 5, 4 for a Quordle 17, and a 57 on Octordle for a total of 78.

One of those Octordles where lots of words fit in very easily but without needing to use many fresh letters. Leaving you with more options for the final few lines.
 
Wish I had waited until later in the morning after I had slept, as I have made a right hash of them now ...

Very poor effort from me but thankfully I battled through Octordle to save face.

@Rob Oldfield, do we have a starter word for the Weekly Challenge. I think it is your pick isn't it?
 
Cross with myself, I anagrammed what I thought was a sure thing early on in Octordle, then had a choice of middle letter on another word, and picked the wrong one first of course.

I too got the anagram wrong and in fact I have been plagued by a number of anagrams recently where I chose the wrong one first. Really annoying!
