Wordle - Quordle Thread

High score today, rushed them all a bit, as need to get going and get out.

Quordle in 9,4,6,7 = 26
Octordle in 68
Total 99, for the second day running.
 
Looks like I am sharing my wooden spoon.... and an ice cream.... although I don't deserve it....

Gives me a 99 too.
 
Disaster for me today....

I am still waiting for divine inspiration for our Weekly Challenge word but will come up with something appropriate before Monday.
 
Both Quordle and Octordle seemed particularly tough today with my sister having a very rare fail on Quordle. 🙄 I took Quordle to the wire with (I think) my highest ever score! :(

Total Score 96!
 
Pretty good day for me, though spent ages failing to figure what word fitted for bottom right on Quordle. Eventually got there though. A 3 on Wordle, a 3, 6, 4, 5 for 18 on Quordle, and a 53 on Octordle makes a total of 74.

I have considered HORSE but it is a bit too obvious. Think I am going to go with CREAM as it is my morning luxury in my coffee and I drink that whilst I do the Wordle puzzles.

Hmmm. Edge has now fallen into line with Firefox and Chrome with not showing the first line of Octordle, so had to fall back to doing it on mobile. Is it just me seeing this on desktop machine?

For me it's a 3 on Wordle, a 7, 5, 8, 4 Quordle for 24, and an Octordle 52. Total of 79.

I had a problem a few days ago of not being able to scroll down to see the bottom line of the onscreen keyboard to see which letters I had used which really slowed things down and made it far too easy to make mistakes, particularly on Quordle. I am using Edge, but it came right the next day, so I can't even use that as an excuse for my current run of flunks!
 
My usual slow and steady. Haven't had any problems with any of the games on my ipad, (so far), it’s just my brain that’s the problem!

No issues with either game today but when I tried a few games of Solitaire on my laptop I had to restart as it just sat there loading. Anyway onto the Wordles (I am sure they are getting more difficult).

Weekly challenge with CREAM 3,4,7,5 = 19.
I always seem to do better on the weekly than the normal, this must say something about my starting word (well, I know it does, because I choose an easy path I can amble through most of the time. Someone else’s choice, and I have to engage brain!)

Made a total mess of the Weekly Challenge though and scraped home with 4 9 5 7 = 25
 
Not the best day over here. Interesting start with the Octordle layout issue though. Turns out it's behaving on Edge my 'work' machine, just not on my 'home' machine. Very odd.

Daily started well with a 3 on Wordle, but then a 5, 3, 6, 8 for 22 on Quordle and a 60 on Octordle gives me a total of 85.

Weekly a 3, 9, 7, 6 for 25.
