Wordle - Quordle Thread

I'm back, time zone issues to please excuse my absence

And 56 makes 86 if my ahem arithmetic serves...

Really struggled on Octordle and it wasn't thaaaaat bad

Doesn’t it all come under the giant umbrella of ' maths'? I must run that past my engineer son, I’m sure he says 'Oh that involves doing maths' when I ask him to tot up how much he owes me for some shopping. Maybe he uses differential calculus to convert grocery items to debts of honour. (don’t tell me, there’s a different name for that as well)

But maybe that’s why the cars he develops all break down. :rofl:

Finally got there after my phone overheated and shut down. Libre seems to put on quite a load and I hate it when websites for newspapers, etc kick off videos or did CAPTCHA go mad?!

Anyway:

Quordle in 7 for 22 (7, 4, 5, 6)
Octordle in 11 for 59

Total Score 85

Much nicer result today, mainly due to a streak of luck in Octordle.

Grand total: 4+22+52=78.

I dipped out on Octordle again today.

Wordle in 4
Quordle 7 6 4 3 = 20
Octordle i resumed my game of pick every word except the correct one until you run out of lives. To be fair I felt really rough physically and mentally this morning, so using that as my excuse.

Tomorrow is another day and a chance to do better!

Quordle 7 5 4 6 = 22
Octordle with 2 lives left and a score of 60

Total for the day, a very beatable 86, but just happy to get a score on the board again. :D

66 3 and 22 to have me bringing up the rear so far with a 91
 
A scrape through for me, couple of instances where I dived in confidently with a word only to find there was another option.

Pretty mediocre result this morning, but again I was relieved to finish all three puzzles as there were some pitfalls.
Grand total: 3+25+65=93.

Looks like I am first today. After a shaky Wordle and Quordle it came good on Octordle.

Wordle in 5
Quordle in 8 for 22 (7, 8, 4, 3)
Octordle in 20 for 52

Total Score 79 which might just do it!

How about
RHYME?
Mixes it up a bit by going light on vowels
 
I have a score today and I think it puts me in second place but congrats to @MikeyBikey on an impressive winning score.
