What Are You Listening To?

I'm glad to hear that I'm not that strange and that lots of oldies are still seeking out new music. Since I got my Spotify account I don't listen to the radio much but I do occasionally listen to Planet Rock. I recently heard a track by Robert Jon and the Wreck that had a bit of a Blues Brothers vibe.

There is an ad currently running for Amazon Prime that has some Baroque style strings on it that I recognised but couldn't quite place. I thought that it might be Bach but it is actually Pachabel's Canon in D. This is regarded as one of the most influential pieces of music of all time due to the chord progression being widely copied in popular music.

Listening to the album "Exodus"by Bob Marley and the Wailers...I haven't heard this album in sometime so it's great to hear it again in it's entirety.

We all do it, tapping away on our keyboards while listening to our favourite music. So what are you listening to right now? If possible, please leave a link to YouTube so that other members can listen too.

I'm so old that I wouldn't be able to concentrate on computer work with music playing 🙄

Rag and Bone man sorry unable to post link as dont know how to. hes great

yes thats the one
No problem. If you find the tune you’re listening to on YouTube. Below the video is the option to “share.” Click on that, then there are a few options. Click “copy link” then paste it in the post. When you post the reply in this topic. The imbedded video should appear? Best wishes.

I find the Rag and Bone one gets under my skin in a good way. I'm of a vintage I bought it as a CD.
I tend to listen to music on YouTube. I still like 60s and 70s which is childhood times. I go to Spanish lessons and listen to a huge variety of Spanish music. However whilst the Olympics was on I enjoyed listening to Zaz a French jazz singer ( I like many of her pieces) and Pablo Alboran. He is Spanish but his mother was born in Casablanca and his French is excellent. He does start his part in Spanish but sings the rest in French. Zaz' mother teaches Spanish and she sometimes sings in Spanish. I've been listening to this lovely song again. My French used to be better than my Spanish.

"Nobody talks like that!". Jack Lemmon doing the tango is one of my favourite film sequences ever. It's no surprise that Tarantino refers to it in 'Pulp Fiction'.
I connected with my now wife while dating over movie talk. this was one. Along with “cabaret?” The producers original was outrageously funny. Pulp fiction was great! Lol. In order to stay on topic of music.

My favourite bit of 'Pulp Fiction is the 'Psycho' reminder
