Honestly it was really rather moving. And I’m just a cockney pleb me!Hmmm…I guess you had to be there! But what do I know, I’m just a pleb from the north! 😛
Yep sad to see Martin.Last time I stayed in Llanelli was a long time ago and one of other guests was a Rep for was it Felinfoel Brewery and he persuaded me to have a half of Double Dragon.6.4 on a bright, sunny and - at least for now - dry Berkshire morning. Cool northerly wind, though. Usual 3 WFH Mondaybut at least I have some things to do that'll keep me out of the house for a while.
Really sad to see this yesterday about what's become of my home town (no need to read it, the photos say it all):-

I’ve had a pleasant afternoon at DMO clinic, even if I did get absolutely drenched walking home in a storm this afternoon, because the swelling in my right eye has slightly reduced again vs 6 weeks ago, this is now (whilst not completely no longer of concern) to the ophthalmologist I’m under, she was suprised as when I last saw her 3 months ago, she injected both of my eyes with steroids, you will be glad to hear @Pam123 the Ophthalmologist listened (regarding the Noctura mask we are both using)
Looks like it might’ve been a marvellous Monday for me, hope it is / was for others
Yes, Double Dragon is a Felinfoel Brewery brand. Felinfoel, pronounced VellinVole by the locals (although I suspect @Bloden will tell us that's not how it should be pronounced) is, to all intents and purposes, a suburb of Llanelli.Yep sad to see Martin.Last time I stayed in Llanelli was a long time ago and one of other guests was a Rep for was it Felinfoel Brewery and he persuaded me to have a half of Double Dragon.
I also stayed at a Guest House in Swansea which was run by an old Welsh footballer Mel Nurse and had a few pints in the Masons Arms,Craig Cefn Parc near Pontadawe where I saw the Moriarty Boys( Big fellas) having a pint or three.
Happy days

If that's how the locals say it, that's how it's said. I wouldn't argue with a Scarlets supporter! 😉Yes, Double Dragon is a Felinfoel Brewery brand. I have a feeling I would have been “feeling foul” if I had my normal pint but the Rep said better stick to the half.Us English speakers would pronounce it 'feeling foul'.
I still drink far too much coffee, trying to cut back. At least I drink less in the afternoon and eveningA 6.4 for me and very light rain whilst walking dogs but about to have cup of tea which am drinking much more now and less coffee.
Good day yesterday and back home early and up in Liverpool today.
Managing BG fairly well and another Unicorn and fitted new sensor and no trouble changing onto Libre 2.
All have a good day.
