Group 7-day waking average?

Morning and a 6.1 for me and not best nights sleep after late night watching dramatic footy and up early but dogs walked.
Very nice day yesterday as left wife in garden centre whilst I did my Meeting and timing was perfect as we arrived at car at same time and she loves my Happy wife Happy Life mantra.
Another quiet day with a Meeting in leafy South Manchester and morning on line stuff then Pizza tonight.
Looking forward to a routine w/ end and getting time in garden, lunch out but there is a local walking festival as well so should really do one of those as been neglecting that recently.
Drinking a more tea and reduced coffee intake which I think is making me feel better. Also had a diabetic phone review and she was happy with hBA1c level but highlighted the fact I have had more episodes of going into the Red especially in the evening.
I said it was because I had been more aggressive in taking extra insulin at times to get my average levels down a bit and just dipped into the red where I simply took corrective action and really not worried as I am still only 2% TIR in red and dont get anxiety and have never got anywhere near a. Clinical hypo.
Anyway I am following her advice of reducing my basal from 6 to 5 to see if I get a better balance.

Not sure what I was on waking as haven't really slept as such, but somewhere between 5 and 6.
Just got back from an early trip to the beach with the dog 🙂
Hope you all have a good weekend!

Morning all. 7.4 for me, after a restful night, except for the annoying part where my 'high' alert chimed around 2am. I took 2 units of NovoRapid, logged it and went back to sleep. Yesterday I had 100% TIR, but only just as my blood sugar dropped quite quickly before dinner (I split my lunch bolus and the second part was clearly larger than it should have been). But, I navigated that hiccup without too much difficulty, so all's well that ends well I suppose.

Morning all. 4.4 and a flat line overnight again.
Quite warm here again today and the thunderstorms which were forecast for today have now moved to tomorrow and Sunday so i can get some washing done and out. Other than cleaning the house, nothing else planned.

Morning all, 5,4 here. Off to ride the pony early, because a friend is coming to lunch. (We’ve known each other for 50 years, I’ve just realised, we met at Uni). All sorts of strange rumblings in the sky for the past couple of days, with arrivals and practising for the Fairford Airshow, we’re not particularly close, but seem to have been on the flight path as they all seem to do a tour of the Cotswolds on their way in. We bought our pony from a family who lived between Fairford and Brize Norton, so luckily he’s well used to strange noises in the sky and won’t spook with me.

6 for me feel c**p after last night's levels(see other post

Morning 5.1 today

This morning I picked a few handfuls of tomatoes also pulled some lettuces from the garden no excuse not to eat a fresh salad at lunch time,

I’m looking forward to the weekend, but won’t be a lay in tomorrow as have the Football Exercise / MH support program to attend in the morning tomorrow, still it’s not the weekend yet some work to do today, I am meeting a tattooist at 9 no not to get inked myself, to sort out a new card payment system for her, although thinking about it - I do have a poorly done tattoo that done in a bar out in Thailand (in a bar when I was drunk 21 years ago) it’s not the best tattoo and at the time my Diabetes was very poorly controlled and resulted in a skin infection, 🙄 maybe it’s time to get some work on it to tidy it up I’m sure it could look very different so you never know 😉 if I do I shall post before and after photos.

I found a program online yesterday evening which looks interesting “The Man Cave” I might pop along one evening it looks like just a drop in session, I’ve never heard of it before and looks interesting we will see

Not Sure if it’s Going to be POETS day for me today
Have a Fabulous Friday Forum Friends

5.5

Last night’s production at Sadler’s Wells was wonderful.

Morning all. A low 4.8. Breakfast straight away and I didn’t take my Fiasp until just before I ate, now at 4.6!

Got home from our mini break at 7pm, I really don’t care for the M1/A1(M), it’s very busy. We had a quick comfort break and cuppa at Wetherby Services about 4.30, we may also have imbibed a lemon curd tart (which I did take insulin for). But that was our tea, I told myself, except my BGs were going low when we arrived home. I wasn’t sure I wanted anything “big” so had a packet of crisps without insulin. They never touched it and I ended up forcing a chocolate oatie down after the nail biting penalty shoot out. Looking at my graph that never touched my BG either. I must be cured! :party:Or maybe it was the warm, but wet, day walking around a flower show without having a sit down!

The plan for today was to do nothing or go anywhere but arrived home to two cards from Parcel Force, one from Wednesday and one from yesterday, they’d tried to deliver a parcel, twice, which I specially asked to be delivered on Friday and paid £9.99 for the privilege to chose my own day. The second card said it won’t attempt the delivery again and I’ve to pick it up from their depot at the other end of town on a huge industrial estate which is like a maze! To say I’m annoyed is an understatement, I think they think we’ll be pleased they’re getting it to us early but it isn’t always convenient. It’s a new laptop and I was looking forward to it coming today so I could play with it. We’ve to leave it 24 hours after the last delivery attempt which was 4.30 pm so I’ll not get a good go at it today. Grrr! Rant over. I’ve calmed down now, sort of. 😉

As promised here’s some more photos from Wentworth Woodhouse, did anyone watch Gardeners World last night? It was much busier yesterday than Wednesday when they filmed it.

Have a fab Friday.

A 5.6 for me today. No thunderstorms yesterday as forecast only a few bouts of torrential rain. 🙂

Morning all. 🙂 4.8 here...good thing I didn’t tweak my basal after a run of 7s earlier in the week. Diabetes = herding cats!

Lovely pics @eggyg. I love a good flower show / display garden.

My DSN is phoning this morning to check if the permanent switch to Manual mode on the Omnipod 5 is going OK. Then it’s life admin and hedge pruning out front. Exciting stuff!

Morning all

A 6.1 for me this morning.

Prepping for a busy weekend with 2 gigs at the Harbour Festival, plus trying to get around and look at possible new cars.

7.2 this morning. Storms looming tonight and tomorrow. Hoping my water butt will fill up before ****ing Thames Water put in a hosepipe ban. Still battling digital dysfunction at my clinic, but I have at least established I can see my Consultant in September.

Morning

4.7 not much planned today, but it might be the last day of summer for a while as looks like 5 days of rain is forecast, which I suppose is about right as most of the schools finish today. I honestly could have stayed in bed not feeling ill just feel weak and tired, think I need to more strength exercise, thinking of joining a gym but don’t want to pay best part of £70 a month to only use it now and again, other option is to try reformer Pilates as a lady in the next road offers 1 to 1 session.

@eggyg - love the photos, I agree with you regarding parcel delivery, so annoying when you pay extra for a nominated day because you know you aren’t going to be in, but they try to deliver anyway, I am lucky though that the delivery office is only 15 mi s walk away so even less in a car.

Good morning folks. 7.6 today and the sun is shining. Put a load of washing on to put out before Tai Chi class. Still feeling a bit meh and my tinnitus is quite bad today. Hoping the forms in class will relax and centre me.
Lots of wet weather forecast for the next week. We are supposed to be going to a Summer Bee Bash on Sunday. Hosted by 2 of our club members. I hope they have space indoors if it rains. We all bring a dish of food and some drink. It's a nice social occasion.

Love the pictures @eggyg I hope you were inspired by all the beautiful plants.
Hope the weather gods are kind to everyone who will be outside this weekend. The last time Anglian Water declared a drought and hosepipe ban it rained for weeks 😱

Morning everyone. It’s a 5.4 for me on this bright sunny morning.

Have a good day everyone and stay well.

5.6 this morning, but instead of the BBC forecast of wall-to-wall blue sky and sunshine we have ten-tenths cloud. Hopefully things will improve as the day goes on. It's supposed to be 28 degrees later before weather warnings kick-in for thunderstorms and heavy rain from tonight. Looks like a wet weekend in store, which would be a shame as we've been invited to a 60th birthday garden party in Bedford tomorrow.

My wife's heading off shortly for a day out with a friend, browsing various antiques and collectibles places, so just me and our boys at home for most of the day.

Enjoy the day.

Morning all - for once it's sunny! Not wall-to-wall blue, but still sunny.

6.9 first thing with a flat line from 2am.

I am now getting bored "being careful and taking it easy". I said to Julian that perhaps we could visit a local garden centre since we were given a £40 National Garden gift voucher from some friends for our ruby wedding (40 years) anniversary. There's not much room for anything else in our little garden, but you never know... we might spot something. I'd dearly like to replace our "water feature" which doesn't make cooling tinkly noises and actually barely drips really.... water just slides down the sides of a Greek Urn and it only works half the time. I wanted a fountain. Of course we won't get the Trevi Fountain for £40... or anything really, but it could be a contribution.

J might not feel up to it though as he has a really nasty cough and is bringing stuff up.

Have a good day all
