Group 7-day waking average?

Evening all. 8.8 for me this morning with high alarm going off all night . Correction doses weren't doing it . Wasn't till I got up and went to take my tresiba that I realised it needed a new vial putting in Saturday morning.Guess who forgot .out it down to age and the heat Soon sorted . Hope everyone has had a good day .

Morning and a 5.9 for me and a lot to catch up on.
Back home after our Cotswold break which was so nice and we both had a lovely time but it was just too hot as ideally we like it in early to mid 20s but certainly not 30s which it was bulk of time.
Plenty of shopping, coffee shops and eating out and such lovely places to visit.
Bibury was simply stunning but absolutely packed and we loved Burford and so many other nice places to spend time at the other spots like Broadway,Bourton and Tetbury etc.
BG wise apart from a very poor first day where was just not sure if insulin was just not working and it stayed high most of night or as it turned out just did not take enough as had decent control the rest of time.
Picked up dogs yesterday and back in routine and glad it is a little cooler as they don’t cope well especially at night with all fans whirring away.
Anyway off to Shropshire today but fairly gentle back to work day and not too bad a week ahead.
Have missed you all of course but just wanted to have a complete break from everything and wife not happy if I am tapping away on keyboard first thing on holiday.
Have a good week all

Morning all, decided to forgo the 5am walk today as so tired. It's a bit cooler today so I can take her for a quick stroll later.
6.8 for me this morning.

We are heading into town later with a couple of old Mac computers from the loft and various dead iPhones, apparently the Apple shop will take them for recycling.

I can't remember the last time I went into town, normally avoid it like the plague!

Morning all. 6.4. I need to take mum for a hospital appointment at lunchtime. She had some tests done 3/4 weeks ago and the consultant wants to see her. This morning i'm going to try and relax in the garden, i feel so tired! Must be the heat.

Morning all, a night of 3 hours sleep, guess who's going to be a grumpy old woman today. Did a lot of streaming on tablet in night, it was either that or lay and stare at the ceiling all night. Am in communal dinning room and I have my feet up on the stool/ chair i treated self to. I think after breakfast there will be the gentle sound of snoring coming from my direction. OK maybe not so gentle and lady like. As long as I don't wake myself up I don't care.
BG was 5.7
You all take care and have a good day. As always extra special wishes to anyone on their own or struggling
Love ❤️ gail

Morning folks. 5.9 on this mild but damp morning. Looks like we’ve had a wee bit rain overnight. The forecast is for light rain showers with some thunder.

Yesterday was significantly cooler until mid afternoon so got some things done, then temperature rose and the sun was blazing down. Glad of the respite today to be honest. I get bored of the heat, can’t walk in it, can’t garden in it, too hot to cook.

We too are going into town @Lisa65 we don’t go often, me more than Mr Eggy, but I’m forcing him to come today, he’s not happy especially as I’ve said we’re going to do the Tesco shop afterwards! We’re birthday present shopping for our youngest grandchild, he’ll be one next month, need to start early as we haven’t a clue what to get him.

Have a Happy Monday.

Morning all, 4.3 here. Need to look lively, the plumber is coming to fit our replacement shower pump, then I need to do a food shop. Got all the holiday washing done and dried in yesterday's heat, just the ironing to tackle now, I think that can wait til the weather cools down again.

A 5.8 for me today. It's forecast to be a bit cooler than the last few days. 🙂

8.1 today
admittedly I never made it to the leisure centre in the end yesterday,

Have a Marvellous Monday

My commiserations @eggyg!

7.2 this morning but I had a high at about 1pm following breaded haddock filets and small number of french fries for supper. And strawberries and cream. Seemed alright when I went to bed at 10pm, but graph just kept rising and alarm prompted me to take extra insulin. Which brought it down. Of well, must be more careful with my eating, particularly when taking less exercise because of heat and TV tennis.

Good morning fine form folks. 7.4 today. The sun is shining so more laundry to do as its forecast rain most of tomorrow. Must mow the lawn too. It hasn't grown much lately but there are a lot of seed heads and weeds. The chickens will enjoy them.
Forgot to mention yesterday about a weird BG anomaly. I got stung by my bees on my left hand. It swelled up quite a bit this time. 3 stings in a relatively small area. My fingers are OK My BG before dinner was 6. Had dinner, checked hive and got stung. Checked BG 2 hrs after dinner 22.2 😱 I had ratatouille with a small slice of ciabatta for dinner, about 45g carbs.
Realised I used finger on left hand and suspect the massive histamine reaction could have affected BG . Using my right hand for FP until the swelling subsides. The readings are normal.
Have a good week ahead despite whatever the weather gods send your way.
Glad to hear you enjoyed your Cotswolds break @Wendal

Morning everyone. A grey sky and very windy start to the day here,

Anyway, with a 5.2 earlier it’s a happy day and if the weather doesn’t change I’ll be able to get out in the garden and get some jobs done.

Have a great day everyone and stay well.

Morning all!

A 7.0 for me to start the week. A bit bleary after a busy old weekend. Thankful that the temperature will be a little less stifling today and til Wednesday. Then gearing up for a double-gig weekend for Bristol’s Harbour Festival
