Group 7-day waking average?

Good morning folks, a 5.4 this Friday for me.

Off to my parent’s house today to cut the lawns and do a little bit more clearing then that will be it for two weeks whilst we both unwind and hopefully are free from everything to get a good break.

Congratulations @Wendal on your Friday HS!

Take care everyone!

A 6.2 for me today. 🙂

Dez

Morning all. It's a 4.9 for me on this fine sunny day.

Have a great day folks, and stay well.

Morning all. 🙂 7.5 here.

Cardiff was buzzing yesterday, lots of people enjoying the sunshine, the cafes and the shops. I'm thinking of taking up running for all sorts of reasons, mental health being the main one since the last year has been really tough. Bought a fab sports bra in the John Lewis sale. It's by Under Armour - great name! My boobs are going nowhere in this little beauty. I also bought a running magazine to read on the train and it was full of useful articles: eg running with T1 diabetes and running as a newbie...weirdly relevant to me. Next stop, trainers...

Sorry to hear about your trip to A&E @Silent Sands.

Welcome back to the thread @MikeyBikey

Morning all. Another 5.2, that’s two in a week. Oh and a unicorn, haven’t had one of those for ages. I also managed a lie in until after 7. Grandson here, so we’ve had sausage and bacon butties for breakfast. I’m stuffed, I won’t need any lunch, maybe a tiny bit of the gingerbread I made yesterday.

No great plans today, I might have a chill day. I never stopped all day yesterday cooking and washing, weather was dry and windy until teatime and then we got everyone’s rain! Absolutely torrential again. Today is sunny and breezy, only 15/16 degrees, then rain and 40mph winds mid afternoon. I fear we’ve had our summer.

@Eternal422 have a lovely break, at least your parents are in safe hands. Mr Eggy and I know exactly how you’re feeling and can totally empathise.
@Silent Sands hope you’re feeling much better today.
@MikeyBikey glad to see you back and congrats on yesterday’s HS.
@Robin I’m sending down some rain for you, we’re sick of it now!

Have a fab Friday.

Congrats on the HS @eggyg

Took me a while to check this morning, another reminder how Deep Thought (my MM780G) has freed up some brain space.

All over the place last night. Had cold soup and slice of bread and strawberries and cream for lunch. After an excellent meal at Rick Stein Barnes with a table overlooking the canal. Completely messed up my balance with an extreme low at 12.30pm. Took a sachet of glucose, but not enough. Repetitive alarms. More G. Then notification that sensor temporarily not working - wait for 3 hours! So a high 9 this morning and a mental slapped wrist.

Our sunflower measures 1.9. metres. We’re in competition with Cecilia, 11 year old grand daughter.43373bca-0bcc-4970-a5bf-8eeedf43d7cc.jpeg

5.7 on this bright and sunny Berkshire morning. Still no rain in our forecast, just wall-to-wall blue sky. Our water supplier recently started emailing tips for saving water, though they haven't gone as far as a hosepipe ban yet. We've started watering our pots with 'grey' water and only flushing the loo when it's necessary (you know what I mean).

Our supply of raspberries from the garden has pretty well ended but I was pleased to be able to pick our first blackberries for breakfast this morning. Only 7 were ripe enough but our bush is a mass of berries, so we should get a bumper crop this year.

Dentist this morning (check up) and some grocery shopping, but not the usual Friday Big Shop as my wife will be up at her sister's in Bedford this weekend and our eldest isn't back from Madeira until late Monday. Looking forward to watching more Wimbledon later, although it was a disappointing day for Brits yesterday - in the singles, that is - but hopefully better results today.

Congrats to our trio of HSers this morning @eggyg @Wendal @everydayupsanddowns

Whatever your plans, enjoy your Friday.

If its yellow, let it mellow, if it's brown flush it down?

@NickE That sunflower is spectacular. How tall is your granddaughter? o_O

Realised I forgot to post actual numbers this morning. Or I think I did. Anyway they are 6.0 right now.

Dance thing this evening at Sadler’s Wells East (apparently it’s about isolation on a club dance floor and there are five rows of beanbags for the audience to sit on if they so choose) then some pre-Pride drinks.

It's the Solent so I don't count it as proper sea because of the IOW stuck in the middle. I am from Hastings originally so I've always lived close to the sea.
My brother lives in Southampton. Unfortunately we don't see them very often. BiL lives near Poole so we try and plan a visit to see both families on the south coast. Some lovely beaches along that stretch of coast :D

@silver minion i've never tried tayberry. What sort of flavour does it have?
It is much richer than raspberry. Very intense flavour with a hint of a sweet port taste. Difficult to describe really but very nice.

Morning all and 8.9 for me although that looks like it was an aberration as it was 7.2 a few minutes later.

Some idiot injected basal instead of bolus for his breakfast. At least I know what I've done and have planned accordingly.

Have a good day everyone.
