Group 7-day waking average?

I've spent today decluttering and reorganizing 7yo's room. She's all ready for year 3 now with a clear desk to do homework at.
Good luck with that staying tidy until September. 😉

Hubby is currently rearranging/ decluttering/ hoovering study bedroom as when our daughter went to uni our clutter gradually recolonised "her" desk. (It was originally mine but when she started secondary school I decided she needed it far more than me).

Morning a 5.9 for me and another flat line after a couple of blips going high in evening after afternoon scones and later ice cream.
Lovely lunch out but it was visitors and fresh Scones that led to my indiscipline.
Tree bark came but too hot to move and so only did some light weeding.
Drizzle this morning refreshing as walked dogs.

5.8 this morning.

Did absolutely nothing yesterday at all other than laze around in the vicinity of the wafting big fan and read. It was bliss.

Today is a rare cultural day with an exhibition first thing (Yoshimoto Nara at the Hayward Gallery) and then dance this afternoon (Zoonation at the Linbury).

The Nara might be interesting as this is the only one of his I’ve ever seen in the flesh, it was at Sotheby’s, it stopped me in my tracks.

Zoonation are often fun. Hugely energetic their core dance style is hip hop but they incorporate so many other influences and this is their contribution to the Next Generation Festival so it’s their junior/student company.

Enjoy your Sunday whatever it brings.

Morning 8.1 today (pizza yesterday evening)

Yesterday for me was quite a lazy day, very relaxed in-fact didn’t go to the football program in the morning, I just felt low on energy, all is OK but think I just needed a day of R&R.

I’m currently sat in the back garden enjoying my morning cuppa listening to nature, Sunday mornings (if I get up) it’s very peaceful out here, as can’t hear the road in the distance, it’s the same in the evenings after dusk very peaceful.
Regarding managing my Diabetes I’m thinking, unless I go really low carb - not taking insulin might not be the right thing for me, although appreciate there are other tablets I will try, nothings been suggested yet, in-fact since having a phone conversion middle of last month regarding coming off insulin not spoken to GP.

TC everybody
😎
11am…just edited what I wrote earlier, poor grammar..(as usual )

You definitely deserve it and you should treat yourself to some nice new things as a reward for all the hard work you've put in 🙂

Morning

3.6 but that will be higher now I have had my coffee and done my morning squats and lunges, but I will test again before I go for my walk and coffee with my friend, have now got some jelly babies just in case. Only other plans are to watch the Grand Prix.

Congratulations to @eggyg on yesterdays HS.

@gail2 - why not treat yourself to just a couple of bits, good news that you are being discharged tomorrow.

I only spotted yesterday on another threat that @PattiEvans is in hospital, I did wonder why she was missing.

Also missing for a while are @Gwynn @TinaD @BobbleHat @zippyjojo I hope you are all doing well and just decided you don’t want to post to this thread at the moment.

Morning. Hope everyone is well. Nice to have a catch up on everyone’s news and activities.

10.2 after a late tea of pizza and a busy day. A restful one planned today.

Have a good day all.

Morning all. 🙂 6.0 here.

Keep safe in the heat, folks. It's dull, grey and drizzling here so head down to SW Wales if you want some relief from the sun!

WhatsUpped my niece yesterday who's studying ceramics in Japan - she was celebrating her birthday with shaved ice covered in bright green matcha, wow. She said it was delicious.

Lots to do before picking hubby up from train later. I hope the roads are quiet, but I suspect there'll be a traffic jam all the way to Swansea, as per usual.

A 6.1 for me today. Off to exercise my old brain on the Sunday cryptic crossword. 🙂

Dez

Morning all, 6.3 here. Successfully negotiated my way round 2 beers, a pork roll and two slices of pizza, with the added joker card of searing temperatures, during the course of yesterday afternoon and evening at the beer festival, kept shovelling in insulin, with only one Matterhorn peak and one brief hypo yesterday evening after we got back.

Morning all. 7, rice, the gift that keeps on giving!

I too did nowt yesterday, just read. It was drizzly all day, today is gorgeous, sitting recovering from our full English on our kitchen sofa with the patio doors open. It’s only 14 degrees but feels warmer.

@PattiEvans has been in touch with me this morning. She’s currently in hospital in Bordeaux, France. Unfortunately she was taken ill whilst on a river cruise. It turned out to be pneumonia and she’s spent the last week in intensive care. It’s been horrendous, I’ll let her tell you the story. She’s now in a general thoracic ward and hoping to be repatriated soon, discussions to be held tomorrow. She’s sends her best wishes to you all and hope she’ll be back to posting soon.

@Grannylorraine @zippyjojo is fine, busy with her lovely garden. I too was thinking about @TinaD the other day, hope all is well.

Have a great sunny, Sunday. Not sure what we’re doing but it won’t be too taxing.

Morning, 5.2 for me!!
This was after a crazy night of insulin resistance followed by several lows. In the end I just ate toast and fruit juice and hoped for the best. This was at 4am. Thankfully all ok after.

7yo and I are venturing into town this afternoon to purchase ingredients for a nice meal for husband, who is working a long weekend of overtime. We might have a quick look in the book shop too :D

Safely back home after our short break in Eastbourne to watch the tennis, and 6.2 when I tested this morning. No blue sky or sunshine yet, just a sky the colour of milk, but high 20s forecast for later. Tomorrow and Tuesday we're supposed to get 30+ degrees! Sunday's towel wash day so I doubt they'll be out on the line for very long before they're dry, otherwise a quiet day with nothing planned bar grocery shopping. My wife and I might go for a woodland walk later.

Sorry to hear you've been unwell @PattiEvans but pleased that you're now on the mend.

Have a good Sunday, everyone.
