Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all. :D 7.4 here.

There's a Long Course Weekend event going on all weekend. Lots of roads are closed so I'm staying at home. The weather's miz - misty and cool - so better than scorching sun for the runners. I might nip out later to cheer them on.

A 5.8 for me today after a very disturbed sleep crowned by the cat throwing up at 4am. Why do they run backwards when doing that and leave several little bits of gunk instead of just one? 😱

Morning a 5.1 for me when first got up and now 5.4 so stayed in 5s pretty much since going to bed.About to have breakfast but will miss walk as will have some tree bark to move.
It is a bit if a story as they have missed delivery two weeks running so they rang up very apologetic and said they would deliver a big builders bag for £10 rather than the £35 they originally quoted ( which we thought was a good price). So we said the 6 miles was a long way to come for just £10 so we would have an extra bag and pay the £35 for and they were very happy.
So we will give them a bit extra as it is so cheap but let us see if they do turn up today. So May have a bit of narrowing to do which means lots of toast.
Booked my blood test on Monday and hoping for a good result as been happy with my control lately so hope I am not setting myself up for a fall but want it back under 50.
So will be in garden today and bit of reflection as had some sad news yesterday.
We have a weekly Team Meeting on Friday morning and afterwards my Manager who I have known for a long time and is a good friend announced she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
They have caught it early and the prognosis will be determined by MRI results next week but she is a real fighter and am sure the outcome will be positive but still a real shock and as a close team it will affect us all.
PS just got disturbed by barking as Tree Bark delivered and Hetty Barker was determined to prove that she has a bigger Bark that what it contained in two big builders bags.
Anyway breakfast to have and then on to play Mr Shifter pushing wheelbarrow from our little lay-by by the side of our house into the back garden.

Morning all, 5.6 here. It’s set to be a scorcher again, and we have our local beer festival this afternoon, in aid of the primary school and other local good causes. We used to be on the organising committee, but retired several years ago, so we now just sponsor a barrel and turn up to help drink it. So, apart from the usual nightmare of keeping insulin from frying, and carb counting beer and pork rolls, should be good to catch up with people we haven’t seen for ages.

Morning all 6.4 will write later BEEN awake since ce 3am

Morning all and 4.8 for me in a damp and grey Sweden

A total blast at the festival yesterday. A few technical problems had to be overcome but we got there. A good, appreciative crowd and many photos with lovely people.

Got to head home today which is a shame, but hey ho here's to the next one.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all. I have had a bit of a lie in, 7.50. I had a restless night from 4am onwards, saw every hour and my phone told me I was 4.8 three times, I actually thought it was stuck! When I woke for the last time and got up it was 5.2! I even fingerpricked as I didn’t believe it. 5 on the meter.

Dishwasher all plumbed in and working beautifully, I didn’t realise how c**p our old one was. Whilst Mr Eggy did all that yesterday I walked to youngest daughter’s house to pull in her bins, ( they’re on holiday and I’d put them out on Thursday for them). I could have taken the car, as it was raining on and off, but I was on a roll after our epic walk on Wednesday and wanted some more steps under my belt. Ended up getting wet and my waterproof was on and off more times than, well you
all know the saying! 😛 I did 5.5 miles as I took a detour to our local butcher/fishmonger superstore. Ended up walking home with about 4 kgs of goods on my back! Then I had to pop to the CoOp to buy Chocolate Hobnobs as I was sweaty and hungry and on checking, my BGs were 4.8 and I had another half hour’s walk before getting home and of course I hadn’t taken any hypo remedies with me. One Hobnob got me up to 5.2 on my return. Just perfect.

Staying home today, forecast wet, again, no heatwave for us. Getting better from tomorrow but nothing like the south is getting, thank goodness. I’m a tad worried about my daughter and family who are cruising around Spain, apparently it could get to 47 degrees! 😳

6.1 this morning. Tennis SFs yesterday were brilliant. First match could have gone either way. Second match looked like it was going one way then went the other. Third was an upset - 4th seed lost to a Lucky Loser. Last one was a bit predictable with the #1 seed playing, and he won - as you'd expect. Heading home today.

Congratulations @eggyg on your HS and @Grannylorraine on yours yesterday.

Have a good Saturday.

Bonjour mes amis!

5.9

ENB/Rambert teamed up for Next Generation festival yesterday and they were superb. It’s tough sometimes to remember that they’re all still students. They bring hope for wonderful future generations of dancers.

Tired this morning. Didn’t sleep too well. Massively overthinking everything under the sun. Zero in the diary for today though. Rest might be in order. Oh and I’ve been 76.8kgs three days in a row now which is great!

Morning everyone. A 4.5 for me today on this nice sunny morning.

Have a good day everyone and stay well.
