Group 7-day waking average?

Hi, late today. 6.9 this morning, bloods have been running a little on the higher side since yesterday afternoon.
Feeling a bit sorry for myself this afternoon, not enjoying the long hours at work and wishing I had the time and money to go see my friends and family more often. Oh well.

11.6

Did a pasta experiment (half portion for dinner) but fell asleep before I could test. FBG today suggests it should go back off the menu for me. Not a great loss, it's the first time I've had any in the two months of testing.
I'm not sure you can conclude that unless you tested 2 hours after you ate it. 12 Plus hours later isn't going to indicate much as other things could influence the reading.

I can't be 100% certain it was the pasta, no, but it's not encouraging me to eat more pasta, and even this flawed result can be used to get my point across to less knowledgeable family members that I have good reason to avoid pasta...

Something caused a higher than usual FBG, and avoiding pasta isn't much of a sacrifice for me, so I hope it was the pasta and not something I can't influence. If I can stay awake for 2 hours after the next time I eat pasta I'll test again.

An early good morning. 6.3.

Up at the crack as we’re off hiking today. Ennerdale in the western Lakes, quite remote so “far from the maddening crowd”, hopefully. It’s supposed to be dry today but it’s not at the moment, at least the wind has dropped, yesterday was wet AND wild, the worst weather combo I think.

Have a wonderful Wednesday.

That sounds like a perfect day

Morning a 6.2 for me and a flat fish and a Unicorn so BG at the moment is fairly good so must get my Blood Test booked soon whilst on a good streak.
Nice lunch in Llandudno and off to pub lunch in Powys today so all good here.
Hope you are all having a decent time at moment.

Morning all. 🙂 6.6 here.

The sun’s forcing its way thru the cloud. Looks like it could be a nice day. One English class this morning, then there’s some shopping needs doing afterwards. I might just stop in M&S for a coffee too.

That sounds perfect @eggyg - I hope the weather behaves.

A near miss on 5.3 today. Dull and cloudy today but at least no rain is forecast. 🙂

Good morning 6.9 today

when I went to bed yesterday evening BS was actually 11.2 having eaten yesterday evening 2 pies, then some chocolate (TBH far more chocolate than a T2D should eat) I’ve been keeping a eye on LibraLinkUp seeing a pattern looks like since I stopped taking insulin (encouraged by GP to try this)
around 60-90 minutes after eating the non Diabetic friendly foods, I get a spike for about another 90 mins then falls back into range 90 min later
will feel this back to GP / the Diabetic Consultant that I think I’m due to see next month
TIR (last 14 days) is showing as 89% before had got it up to 95% so not a huge difference in TIR really

Loved the Clock you showed us yesterday @eggyg
my Father was a keen horologist loved proper clocks and watches, when we cleared out the loft and garage we found a few antique mantle clocks in the loft (one of which is currently in my loft)

Morning

5.4 but did a few more carbs than usually before bed, well 4 jammy dodgers to be precise. No plans today, although might be getting a visit from an engineer as hubby is trying to get through to Virgin Media as our tv box has gone wrong. Meeting up with the running group later.

Yesterday turned out to be a lovely day after the early grey cloud, was breezy but very pleasant temperature.

I thought I had everything lined up. Modest meal at 7pm, no extra food as a top-up before bed, BS at 6.5. My longterm Toujeo adjusted yesterday by one point.

When I looked at the graph on my watch this morning this is what it shows:IMG_1516.jpeg

I know that diabetes is the story of many ups and downs and that it changes all the time. But the sudden down when I was asleep followed by an upward track (I’m now at 11.2 at 09.25am) is a bit puzzling.

Still, that’s life. I’m off to the dentist this morning to have a filling which fell out yesterday to have it replaced. Maybe the drilling will take my mind off inconsistent graphs!

5.5 on another a cool, grey and sunless Berkshire morning but we're forecast to be in the mid-to-high 20s this afternoon, which would be pretty much a repeat of yesterday.

Home Alone Wednesday, my favourite day of the week. Our eldest has already left for the office and his brother will shortly be heading off to Tesco for his shift. My wife has the day off but I'm dropping her at the station later as she and a friend are off to the Shaftesbury Theatre in London to see a matinee performance of the musical Just For One Day.

Watched some good tennis yesterday but a mixed bag of results for the Brits. Looking forward to seeing if Raducanu can make the QFs this afternoon. Had the tennis on the tv and the live cricket score running on my phone. Great result for England in the cricket and would have been good to watch it, but not when there's tennis on.

Might try and fit in a swim later as we're not here tomorrow when I would normally go, and maybe pop over to M&S in nearby Bracknell after dropping my wife at the station. Otherwise a lazy afternoon in front of the tv.

Whatever your plans, enjoy your Wednesday.
