Group 7-day waking average?

Afternoon all.5.4 for me this morning.Strong North Easterly wind blowing today .Spoiling things
Gonna cut the hedge this afternoon. Congratulations to @ Eggyg on your Hs today. Enjoy your day people

6.7 this AM for me.

Tired.

Sadler’s East yesterday was interesting. I hoped it would have been great. It was perfectly OK.

PS We are re-watching old episodes of RATW... not only is the Welsh lad in the current series T1 but there's another T1 in Series 2. Nothing is made of it apart from informing us... no hypo dramas or loss of insulin or insulin going off in steamy temps.
Yes, it was a mother and son and it was the mother if I remember rightly.
I thought that last night, they haven’t mentioned it much thank goodness. Fin did say last night he needed sugar as he didn’t want to go low on the final bit.

Not posted for a while. Read and catch up often though.

Struggling with life really 9.5 at bed time. 12.2 on waking up dropped to 6.0 spike to 12 down to 4 no idea. Feel really rubbish. Been like it for a few weeks.

Race was good last night.

I do wonder how levels were for Finn and how his insulin was kept etc during filming and how he monitored levels with no phone. I guess the camera people had it all maybe.

I think the diabetic Mum in the other series was the Mum of the young man who died in a car accident a few weeks ago.

Tbh @PattiEvans, I didn't have high expectations. My BG has always been erratic and I didn't think a machine could fix the problem. In the long term, I'd like to go back on the Dash, but I suspect I'll be told to stay on the O5 but in Manual mode. In the short term, I think the best would be a pump break...I'm frazzled! One positive to come out of this is I now feel more confident in my management skills. Thanks for all your support BTW.

6.1 this morning with intermittent internet & phone line. It went off yesterday morning and came back on this morning. Comes and go's today.

I played some pool this morning, winning 5-4 beating my friend and my support, who, TBH, hadn't played in a while.

I'll leave this brief and not sure of the connection. holding. Haven't set up a mobile hot-spot yet. TBH I have to work out how to do it.

Congratulations to @eggyg on your HS.

Jo & Sam Gardiner from series 2: Jo was on a pump & mentioned stopping the insulin temporarily when she was going low after a bit of exertion.

Speaking of that mother & son pair it was very shocking & sad to see the BBC’s memorial to Sam Gardiner at the end of last week’s episode 7! I thought “He’s dead!” & looked it up on google. He died in a car accident in Greater Manchester while returning home from a landscape gardening job! He was only 24 & I shed a few tears for him & thought of his mum Jo! :(

A 5.8 for me and a night within range after going low before bed necessitating a biscuit.
Storms did not materialise so very pleasant evening and back home early.
Short day today with trip to Altrincham and a relaxing w/ end with being away next week.

Good morning, 5.9 on this glorious Friday.

I’ve been up an hour already, a rather hot and sticky night. The forecasted rain and thunder didn’t happen. Picking up eldest daughter at 9am to take her for a hair appointment. One of their vehicles is in the garage so down to one car. She lives 20 miles away! I think ( hope) her MIL is picking her up afterwards and taking her home. I’ll nip into town as I’ve a couple of birthdays coming up, Mr Eggy and my friend Christine. Don’t know what to buy either of them. It gets harder and harder doesn’t it?

Have a fab day, and for all you work slaves, TGIF!

Hi Colin.Thought you would be aware of this but if not I thought it may be if interest in going to see it.

Going to see it this afternoon.

Also Queer Britain has the Terrance Higgins quilt on display for a little while so I’ll see that when I’m volunteering next week.

5.9

Seeing friends in a bit then heading (with them) to Tate Modern before seeing the folks later.

Good morning, a rude awakening at 4 with the low alarm on 3.9 and a down arrow, too groggy to fingerprick so had a glucose tablet and went back to sleep, now 7.7
Happy Friday everyone.

It's a lovely morning here, all blue sky and sunshine, although we have a weather warning on place from 6pm for heavy rain and thunderstorms. Just to complete the sunny start to the day, one of these:-

Congrats @Robin on yours.

Enjoyed the tennis yesterday with 3 Brits in action but unfortunately only Raducanu got through to the next round. Tough one, though - she'll be playing the #1 Seed.

My wife and her sister had a good day out in Boston yesterday. We did a video call on WhatsApp last night to catch up. They're not sure what they're doing today, although there is a parade and festival organised by Boston Pride For The People, so they might have a look. Apparently the parade goes right past their hotel, twice.

Whatever your plans, have a good day and take care (Black Friday and all that).

Not waking as I haven’t gone to bed yet 07:13 BS 6.3 & I’m pretty sure BS is stable now as last scan was 06:49 BS 6.5. I’ve been trying to keep BS up since it hit 4.7 at 04:00 when I WAS going to bed! I bolused WAY too much for a meal around 2am after I got up around 21:15 yesterday. I conked out early sometime in the afternoon after tresiba & meds, about 2pm & slept. So, the 2am meal was my lunch anyway, I’ve kept eating sweets, biscuits & peanut butter trying to get my BS out of the 4’s & stay above 5 from 4am to about 6am before it stayed in the 5’s & now risen to the 6’s & stayed this last hour so, I COULD go to sleep now but, quite wired from all the adrenaline I must have produced with my heart racing intermittently when my BS was in the 4’s? Never actually went below as the lowest was 4.1! My mouth is also, tasting very sweet now from all the sweets, biscuits & peanut butter despite drinking loads of water, going to the loo every 90 to 120 minutes as I drank 2.5 bottles of water, about 1.25 litres in those few hours! Thank goodness active NR seems to be over now as I REALLY don’t want to eat anymore sweet stuff right now! A Green Puking emoji!

A Very Good Morning to you all & have a Wonderful Day! 😉

I had been thinking basal can go back down from the 50 I put it up to & kept at this week with the bad bout of breathing difficulties but, the last 2/3 nights I’ve been scraping above BS 4 so, midday tresiba will go back down to 48 today.

I will TRY & get some sleep now but, still “buzzed” & give my eyes a rest at least if I can’t! 🙄 It’s more like a :starstruck: as my eyes are blurry but, that emoji is laughing & I’m not! Although, having just typed that, I made myself laugh, again: reminiscent of a very recent post; having you lovely lot to post to can make me laugh at myself sometimes at what I write or emojis I post! o_O
