Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all. Well it seems like the overnight 5u correction worked as i woke to 5.2. The only reason for the spike to 15 i'm thinking is the hypo around 9pm plus the treatments. It took a long time to go back up then dropped again into the 4s as i went to bed. I was going to read while monitoring but must have fell straight to sleep.

This morning i need to do a trip to Lidl for mum, pick up the rest of my prescription from last week then go up and see mum. After that, home to potter. No rain forecast today here, cloudy and 18°.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all. 6.2.

Have had a restless night, according to my Apple Watch I had zero deep sleep, and was awake 1hr and 12 mins. That’ll teach me to have a two hour nana nap yesterday afternoon. Luckily, no rush this morning so I can pull myself together slowly. I do have a GP appointment at 2.45. I should be just about “normal” by then. Whatever normal is for me!

Congratulations @freesia on your HS.

@PattiEvans hope you’re feeling somewhat better today.

@Wendal I love Scottish Noir books and TV dramas too, the gorier the better, I don’t do cosy crime, books or TV. I think Dept Q ( which incidentally is based on a Scandinavian novel) is a cross between Mick Herron’s Slow Horse series, ie the misfits in the scummy basement/ room, and a JD Kirk novel set in the Highlands. We’ve watched three episodes so far. We don’t really do binging, two is about our limit, but last night we wanted to watch Gold on BBC1, the second series about the Brinks-Matt robbery. This one is total fabrication and it’s just what the writers think may have happened to the other half of the gold that was never recovered. It was good.

Have a good day everyone. Bit non-descript weather wise.

Congrats on the HS @freesia

Hard to know what my ‘waking’ was since I was woken by alarms multiple times (I suspect yesterday’s “missing” dose gradually extricated itself overnight… plus one compression low.

I’ll pick 6.1 as the time my alarm was supposed to go off.

Happy Monday everyone!

3.1, I think, but like @everydayupsanddowns i woke several times due to the low BG alarm going off from (I am told) 5am, oops. I guess the 2U correction at bedtime should have been 1U.

For once we have a day to ourselves, sort of. I need to start tackling some of Dad’s financial things, starting with consolidating ISAs to simplify things. So I expect it will be a day of trying to log into websites and hoping Dad’s notes are up to date with details.

@freesia - congratulations on your HS!

Have a good day everyone.

Well done @freesia on your HS. My reading was 5.9 today. 🙂

It's a bright and sunny Berkshire morning and the carpet fitter arrived bang on 08:30 as scheduled. He's now busy replacing the carpet on our stairs and landing. It was the wrong colour once we'd redecorated. Picked a good day as our youngest has a 7 till 4 shift and our eldest is at his girlfriend's in London ready for their flight to Rhodes this afternoon, so just my wife and myself at home. She's having to work from our eldest's home office setup downstairs rather than hers upstairs, though. Come Wednesday she's off to the USA with her sister to visit an Irish cousin who left Ireland 30 years ago, met and married an American schoolteacher and is happily settled in Palmyra in Pennsylvania. She's godmother to the eldest of their three children.

I said yesterday that I was hoping for a 5-set thriller in the tennis and that's what I got. Incredible match, as was the Ladies' final the day before. Tennis from Queen's starts today as we begin the countdown to Wimbledon.

Congrats on your HS @freesia - I almost joined you but fell agonisingly short with a 5.1

Have a good start to the week.

Morning everyone, happy Monday.

It was a 6.8 for me earlier, a little higher than normal.
Struggling to sleep at the moment and had the same issue as last week with my new sensor refusing to calibrate and so lots of finger pricks overnight plus a few lows 🙄
I think I've learned I need to change it much earlier in the day so that I am awake for these issues! Although if they continue, I will attempt to get help from Medtronic.

Back to school, 5 weeks to go til the summer.

15 weeks til the baby arrives! Don't want to wish the time away but I am looking forward to meeting him.

Have a good day everyone.

A bleary eyed morning from me today. 8.5 around 9.30am as I hadn't had breakfast so my liver gave me a kick up the bum.
My cat woke me at 2.30am as she had been sick in the hallway while trying to vomit up a hairball. I let her go outside as she was desperate to go out then proceeded to clear up the mess. Luckily our hallway is tiled. Crawled back to bed with a slight case of retina burn. Going from total darkness to bright led lighting is not kind on your eyes!
SiL is a bit more cheerful this morning as she is coming to terms with limited mobility for the next 6 weeks.

Congratulations on the HS @freesia
Sending hugs to anyone feeling under the weather today.
Take care and have a good Monday

Morning all. It was a 5.3 for me earlier this morning...

Afternoon all.5.8 for me this morning. The sun keeps trying to break through.Rain forecast this afternoon.Gonna get wet again . Congratulations to @ Freesia on your Hs today.Anyone feeling out of fettle Hope you soon pick up .Stay safe and dry people

Afternoon all - been grey and horrid all day, now it's that sort of rain that isn't heavy but wets you nicely.

4.4 this morning. Woke up really late at 10:45 after going to bed at 11:00 but I had taken half a Nytol "one a night" which always gives me a good night's sleep provided I don't take them too often. Today I feel quite wide awake and energetic, unlike yesterday. Thank you @eggyg and @Grannylorraine for your concern.

Off to see a Reflexologist at 3pm in the hope she can do something about my constantly running nose, particularly when eating, which is making eating into pure misery. The Beconase spray that I've been prescribed does nothing. A Reflexologist fixed hubby's sinuses years ago and he's never had a problem since. We'll see.

Then making Gnocchi with chicken, spinach and mushrooms for dinner. Left to me I'd not cook anything, but have hubby's hungry little mouth to think of!

Congratulations @freesia on your HS... you definitely deserve it!

Take care everyone and have a nice day (what's left of it).

We don’t so much binge watch but we do tend to watch each series episode in sequence over a period of time rather than each week on TV.
So last night I would happily watch Gold but my wife will often go to bed for an hour whilst I rest on sofa about 9pm as we are up early and a hours rest before taking the dogs out last thing is nice.
The downside is if only one of us watches a good programme then the other will miss it then we can’t watch it together later so we tend to miss out on the TV series until later if that makes sense.
I realise now how our childhood it’s important in determining our likes and dislikes and I think my love of “ noir” crime actually comes from reading the Crime story’s in the “ Sunday Post” which I know you will be familiar with as you have mentioned the Broons/Oor Wullie before and the Butt and Brae.
I read an awful lot as a child and loved reading the real Crime stories in the SP and feel that has led to my love of Scottish Crime dramas -well that is my excuse.
