Group 7-day waking average?

Yay! Finally got up to weigh myself & have breakfast: just broke 90 kilos on 89.9; started breakfast at 12:06 on BS 5.8 which is contrary to my usual DP! Also, had a closer look into last night’s graph & I dipped into the red, below 4, for about 1.5/2 hours; was on 52 basal yesterday & I did notice my BS was a bit lower on the previous day of 52 as well! That tells me to at least stick to 50 basal for now & go lower if needs be; I’m definitely lighter now than last year & that REALLY motivates me to lose more weight! <3:D

Good morning folks. A bit fat 10 this morning. Last thing I ate yesterday was a pulled pork ciabatta roll around 5pm just before leaving the steam rally. Hubby had AF episode later in the evening so neither of us got much rest last night. I can't sleep until I know he is OK again. Lie in this morning till 9.30am. Hubby sorted cat and chickens while I slept.

Only housework and gardening today, depending on the weather. At the moment it is dry.
Have a nice BH Monday everyone.
My wife is the same with me when I have palpitations, heart goes very fast then all a sudden it’s very low, I’ve had AF for years, I can mostly cope with it but the wife can’t.
Hope your husband is feeling better, it’s a mystery how it just creeps up on you .

5.1 this morning just got back from a quick trip to get a few bits from home Bargains and came out with 2 lovely Hydrangeas couldn't resist only problem is we have no room in the garden.

Thank you. He is feeling much better today. Normally his episodes are short lived. When they last a few hours his heart rate varies between 45 and 140. It plays havoc with his blood pressure and O2 sats. I can sympathise with your wife.

Bit late on parade due to a busy morning and then being out on one of our favourite long walks, over to our local craft village. Unfortunately we discovered that the whole of the section crossing fields and woodland has been closed due to construction work. We got there via the road, which has no footpaths, and had lunch at their very busy cafe before heading home via town, just over 6 miles altogether.

Eating out tonight at one of our favourite eateries, so looking forward to that, and trying to keep the carbs down during the day so I have carbs in hand for the meal later.

5.9 when I tested this morning.

Enjoy the rest of your BH Monday and congrats @Barrowman on your HS.

Afternoon all. At long last, a 5.2 for me earlier this morning...

Have a great rest of the day folks, and stay well.
Congratulations on your house special this morning.:star:

Good afternoon all Not nice weather at all. Rained in the night and you can still see moisture gleaming on the foliage. At least the water butt is full.

5.8 this morning. Not a good night at all. Yesterday, on the spur of the moment I invited a friend of ours to share Sunday dinner with us as I knew she was partial to a bit of lamb. Anyway, prior to the meal I bolussed for 60g carb to take into account the roast dinner with roast potatoes, roast butternut squash, buttered spinach, Leeks in cheese sauce and gravy etc followed by Tortugan rum cake we'd been given (which was 30g per portion on it's own) never mind the cream. Right after dinner BGs dropped to 3.2 along with loud alarms etc. They then stayed there for the next 2 hours. I tested with my meter... and that proved the point as it read 2.9. I was frightened and confused because I knew I'd eaten the carbs and I couldn't understand WTF the algorithm was doing. It was really not helped by the friend who thinks she's an expert on diabetes because her late husband was a T2 on insulin and she kept dispensing useless advice including "You really need to talk to your diabetes team!" It's hard enough dealing with what's going on, without wanting to refute, or explain why she's wrong.

Anyway, she left eventually and my BGs came up to 6.7 - I can only think the fat content possibly delayed carb absorption, but sometimes CamAPS does inexplicable things. Anyway fast forward to 05:00 when I had to dash to the bathroom twice with the severe trots. I then laid awake getting more and more angry with the friend.... It's silly... but it resulted in my oversleeping to 10:30 this morning.

Congratulations to @Barrowman and @Colin g on your HSs!!!

Have a good day all!

Morning all, 7.1 on a damp and breezy morning.
Just let the dog out and noticed the blackbirds have been at my plant pots and dug out all the moss, they make such a mess!
I shall need to net my blackberry this week otherwise the blackbirds or the wood pigeons will eat the fruit as soon as it starts to ripen.
Went for a nice walk last night at the nature reserve, there are some beautiful wild flowers around at the moment.
Have a great day everyone.

Morning all. A very nice 5.4.

Sunny morning again, still breezy. A bit of rain forecast. Did get rain yesterday and the ponds are filling up nicely. Lazy day was had, and last night we lit the fire! Our house is old and draughty and when the wind blows it cools right down. Of course we ended up sweating and opening the door!

We’re off to Lancaster later, maybe leave 4ish, it’s about an hour’s drive, get something to eat and we’re going to the Dukes Theatre to see Brian Bilston and Henry Normal, Brian Bilston is the main attraction for us, he’s known as the Banksy of the poetry world, he never shows his face on social media. His poems are brilliant, check him out. He’s no William Wordsworth or Samuel Taylor Coleridge, thank goodness, I had enough of those two at school! His poems are topical and funny, often political, not an albatross or daffodil in sight! I don’t know how it will work on stage as such, but we’re looking forward to it. See, @ColinUK we do have culture oop North! 😛

Have a great day.

Morning all. 🙂 7.3 here.

Sunday was a fab day. Started with a dog walk and a coffee with my bezzie. Then, a lovely family get together to celebrate my mum’s birthday. And the sun shone all day.

It looks like rain, rain, rain today. Best get out there and walk the dogs before it gets too torrential!
