Group 7-day waking average?

Afternoon all. It was a 5.4 for me earlier this morning...

A severe low at 2am of 2.9 and dipping. My watch alarm woke me up and I swallowed some glucose. Went back to sleep. Woke to 11.6, glucose impact seeming to be variable. Just half a sachet of liquid stuff. Never mind, BG down to about 6 after porridge breakfast, my new staple.

Rained during the night which was good for the garden. Here are some blue Nigella in the front garden:

9.2 at a late hour this morning, dropping to 8.6 at brekkas! I had the same brekkas as yesterday but no ensuing indigestion - a blessed relief but I may have bolussed to much, time will tell. My TiR has dropped to 92% and the average BG dropped to 7.2.

My BiL has arranged to lunch for his mother's 80th but doesn't want either his sister or me to be present - this smacks of his GFs demands, so not good. We'll arrange something separate for her actual birthday on Sunday, with or without him.

It rained throughout the night and stopped at dawn which suits me fine, at last our yellowing plants are damp now. The day isn't to bad either although still very cloudy, it's still warm to a degree with a breeze.

Congratulations to @Eternal422 & @Pam123 on your House Specials!

Congratulations @Pam123 on your HS!

Congrats on todays HS’s @Eternal422 :star: & Pam123 :star:
glad I just saw your post just now @Martin.A, I had forgotten it’s championship play off final today,
so was just chilling & catching up on forum posts glad yours reminded me, I’m impartial on this game but I think it’s going to be a good game

Good afternoon folks. The sun has come out at last after a very wet start. BG was 9 this morning. Quick breakfast of almond butter on seeded wholemeal toast then off to the library with the display hive. Lots of interest during the morning and one little girl made a display hive out of lego to show me. I have included it in the photos and will also show it on our club site.
Hope you find your MH improves @goodybags now you decided to leave your current job.
Congratulations on your HS @Eternal422 and @Pam123

The deer have munched the rest of my sunflowers so I have given up on them now.

Making flapjacks later, hubby will be chief taster. Have a nice BHW and hope you all see some sunshine.20250524_115808.jpg20250524_112020.jpg20250524_111917.jpgIMG-20231013-WA0001.jpgIMG-20250221-WA0001.jpg
Edited to say Lego not legs. Damned autocorrect!

A quick update as my morning readings have been higher than normal recently. Tested pre lunch 6.3. Had 3 ryvita with cream cheese and a side salad. Post lunch test was 6.2. Definitely not having any flapjacks or cake at the WI refreshments stand tomorrow!

5.2 for me too. Hit 13 yesterday having had a cheese and ham toastie and a piece of stickie ginger cake at lunchtime. Had a small supper but didn't test. Bit cool and rainy yesterday morning. Looks a lot better today.

Morning and congrats on HS Richard so I have to follow that with a 7.2 after a very up and down yesterday. Not surprising though as managed to complete the day with no bolus insulin at all just my 6u of basal..
Was active in the garden so still went low on a few occasions but that was due to digging etc and then stopping, eating and going back up.
It does give me a low average BG but the volatile graph is not ideal.
Visited local garden centre for our hot chocolate and cake and of course buying more plants so we had to plant them up and garden looking tidy.
Lunch out again today with son and rain has been very welcome and weather much fresher and just chilling.

Where does the time go?

Good morning everyone.

BG 5.0 yesterday evening it was 4.6. I often get in the mid 4s now.

Summer has disappeared here. It's cold and blustery out there this morning.

Off to church this morning. I am bringing a song I composed recently. If I don't get lynched I'll let you know how it went, later on.

Just a heads up: the raspberries and strawberries in M&S are superb right now. Way way better than anywhere else (IMO)

Have a great day today whatever you are doing
