Group 7-day waking average?

Forgot to mention that diabetes review went well. Nurse happy with HbA1c result of 48. Keeping medication the same at the moment. Next review October which will be normal annual review in person with feet checks and retinopathy check a bit later in December.

5.8 on another lovely, sunny Berkshire morning. Just wish that chilly north easterly would ease off.

Usual Friday routine - Big Shop this morning and accompany my wife when she does her Cinnamon Trust dog walk this afternoon. I started going with her last Autumn when she felt uneasy about walking the dog in the dark and have just carried on. I don't mind. It's a good hour's exercise, and I don't have to do anything dog-related.

Our eldest is in the office again, 3rd day in a row, after his employer said they wanted to see more people in more often. Coincidentally my wife's employer has recently said the same. Seems to be a growing trend. I even read yesterday that HSBC are proposing linking attendance to bonuses.

Enjoy Poet's Day, whatever you're doing. Pleased to hear that your diabetes review went well @silver minion

Morning, 5.1 today. Yesterday was 5.3. My day will come soon, surely!

Last day of school for a bit. I didn't sleep well last night so a little tired.

Although I am happy because I wrote a piece for the school newsletter which the headteacher praised this morning. I'm pleased she liked it as I wasn't sure if it fit the theme or not - I found a passage from our school archives which I found amusing, and wrote a short history of the school to go with it, alongside some old photos. I'm really pleased SLT like it!

Morning everyone. Back down to the 4’s today with another 4.3 it seems that if I don’t go to bed with a BG higher than 10 it’s always down in the 4s in the morning.

Anyway, the sun is shining so have a good day people and stay safe.

Afternoon all.5.3 for me this morning.Although reader said I'd spent a lot of time in red .Didn't hear an alarm.Knocked my time in range from 100% down to 75 .The little tinka .Suns shining after a grey cold start . Breeze starting to pick up and wind and rain on the way .Must be a bank holiday weekend.Stay safe people

A 5.3 this morning which was encouraging then fell off the wagon by scoffing half a piece of walnut and carrot cake mid-morning when visiting Petersham Nurseries in Richmond to buy some herbs. I should have taken a shot to compensate but didn’t. Hey ho. Great cake, even better plants despite high prices and high BS.

6.1 this morning high for me, going to have to up my Basel as ive been in the orange for 25% over the last few days, not had any extra carbs in fact ive had less, the warm weather caused this problem last year. haven't posted for a few days been to enjoying the nice weather.

A strange night & it was a case of Pat Benatar’s Sleep Is a Battlefield because I literally had nightmare after nightmare so, I woke high today 08:45 BS 10.9. And my overnight graph is like climbing a strangely shaped mountain in that it climbed, plateaued a bit then, climbing again 3 times when I woke briefly & turned back over to sleep again! Anyway, I’m am now &, for once, can’t remember what I dreamed as I nearly always do when I wake up: probably just as well as I most likely don’t want to remember & best not to dwell on it! It must have been the much oilier than I realised Duck Comfit I had for dinner last night: WHOAH! came out the microwave swimming in oil to which I lifted off the duck leg onto another plate & used 4 sheets of kitchen towels to soak it up before eating the still very saturated duck leg! It was very good but, I’ll probably never get it again as the oil is horrendously too much! I do very occasionally like Silver Hill crispy aromatic duck with the breast meat, pancakes & hoi sin sauce from tesco but, it was out of stock & thought I’d try the leg instead in Silver Hill Duck Comfit. My dinner meal hill had dropped back down after dinner to the 6’s before bed & it just climbed 3 times for each set of nightmares I woke briefly from! I felt relieved when I woke up properly just now! I definitely won’t be eating that again!

A Very Good Morning to you all & have a Wonderful Day! 😉

I think I’ll just have plain toast & tea this morning as even the thought of butter just now is too much: I’ve had a fat overload; lesson learnt!

Sorry reply is a bit off. That's right there is quite a lot of fat that comes off duck, as I found to my horror a few years ago off half a duck. I haven't duplicated it since.

8.1 this morning so I had a low-carb breakfast comprising a small handful of both blackberries and blueberries, with a trace of single cream. I ended up with terrible indigestion too, took over an hour before feeling better after 2 Rennies.

It was a beautiful morning but gradually clouded over and the wind increased and got cooler as I found out on both walks today. Rain is forecasted tonight which will be a blessed relief to the garden and pots.
