Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all, 7.2 here, I knew I’d overdone the cheese and biscuits last night (has anyone else discovered that two of those Lotus biscuits (you sometimes get with your coffee in posh coffee shops) wrapped round a thick slice of cheddar, makes a perfect combo? Hint, they come in full packets from the supermarket, I don’t have to go round garden centres having coffees to collect them.

Morning 5.3 on waking today posting this now whilst relaxing with a coffee in the garden it’s quite tranquil, and looks like it’s going to be a lovely day
I’m feeling far less stressed and slightly less itchy but have now also got some rash on my left leg

I’m seeing podiatrist this afternoon (not the routine foot tickling) but I need their help on something

Have not injected insulin since Sunday morning so far so good, although I guess it takes time to work its way out of the system ? at least I’ve still (currently) got the Libra to get an idea of how things are headed, although I’m half expecting that to come off prescription in the future at a medication review.

TC 😉

07:32 BS 9.6 & after loo trip 07:34 BS 10. 4?

A Very Good Morning to you all & have a Wonderful Day! 😉

@ColinUK I LOVE “The Jewel Song” from Faust & it is one of the Opera CD recordings I spent a fortune on buying back in the mid 90’s fresh out of college & starting work in the Big City of Belfast on a very small salary so, £60 for a set of 2 CD’s of Decca Records recording of The Production at Covent Garden was a sizeable chunk of my week’s budget! I DID live & work in Belfast for a couple of years before moving back to Ballymoney & worked in the family restaurant since then till it closed so, had a couple of years of culture in that I listened to the new started up, then, Classic FM & bought their commissioned much cheaper CD’s of classical music & opera: not QUITE as cheap as the much missed a decade earlier commissioned Boots Classical collection that I gained most of my Classical knowledge & library from but, still a lot cheaper that bigger brand names, shall we say, of record companies, opera or classical productions & artists etc. It’s one of the fewer operas sung in French as opposed to Italian & I learnt to sing, rather I memorised the words & music as I’m not a soprano, “The Jewel Song”: rather like Bernardo from Zorro & Son not being able to whistle in “Whistle While You Work”; I glossed over the high bits, mostly & the odd time I tried it but, really couldn’t get up there! 😱 Cover my ears over my cracking & breaking voice trying to get up there! o_O:rofl: But, do still sing most of it every now & then as I still remember it! As a matter of fact I was doing that yesterday in the bath: just something about the acoustics of bathroom tiles & sounds being bounced off the surface of the water that makes a lot of people, I know I’m not the only one, sing in the bath! 🙄 I only bought one other complete opera, back in the 90’s for £60 of a set of 2 CD’s of the same above Covent Garden production of Madame Butterfly: all the rest in my collection are either Boots or Classic FM with a few more expensive ones featuring outstanding soloists!

Morning all

A 7.4 for me after a bit of a disturbed night, with alarms in the low 4s (which is very unusual for me with Deep Thought holding the reins). My last double-jelly-baby seemed to go the other way right up to 9.4, where as the others had barely registered!

It’s a funny old game o_O

I'm joining this morning's near misses with a 5.3. 🙂

Morning

4.5 still got this cold, but it is not bad enough to stop me doing day to day things, although I haven’t been out with the running group. Not sure about yoga tonight as sneezing and coughing all the way through doesn’t make it very relaxing for everyone around me. Off to mums earlier today as I have arranged for a solicitor to come and see her to sort out a few bits, then we are going to the cafe for lunch, so I am expecting a higher carb meal.

Good morning folks. A very naughty 10.7 today. Must have been the cream cake I had last night for supper. Chestnut cream on a shortcake base with a chocolate decoration. Utterly decadent but delicious. No more treats this week.
Got the bees last night. All closed up until the weather warms up to the teens. It's very dull and cool outside so I won't be to transfer them to our new hive until this afternoon.
Diabetes review with the nurse this morning. It's a telephone appointment.

Everybody have a lovely Thursday :D

6.4 this morning, which wasn't that much of a surprise as I had one of my 'sod diabetes' days yesterday and treated myself to one of Gail's flourless chocolate cakes whilst in town and then some ice cream after tea. Back on the straight and narrow today.

Didn't rain as much as expected yesterday and the only thunder I heard was in the distance. Wednesday's usually a washday but I held off because of the the forecast, so that's on my schedule for today. First load's already in the machine. Usual Thursday swim later, plus some grocery shopping. In the meantime it's a coffee and the newspapers - 2 on Thursdays, usual daily plus our local.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning all. 4.8 this morning. I think all the walking from the last two days is working to keep overnight levels ok but i have to say, my feet and legs are aching badly. My heel was aching so much on Tuesday we stopped in a pub to get a drink and go to the toilet. A lovely lady who worked there saw me hobbling down the stairs to the toilet, shouted at me to stop and opened the disabled toilet for me. Very kind of her though i did feel old.

Anyway, we had a lovely anniversary and a great time in London. The show was great and the Cartier exhibition was stunning. Timings stopped us from meeting up with @ColinUK but next time we'll get something sorted.

I've just got back from doing the weekly shop, washing is on the line (though its very dull and cool out so i hope it dries). The rest of today and tomorrow i plan to do nothing but rest my foot, oh and feed older daughter's cats as they've gone away for a few days.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all and 7.4 for me. Evidently I wasn't dropping as quick as I thought last night but not too wide of the mark.

Just got back from the co op and post office when I got a text saying parcel ready to collect. It'll have to wait until tomorrow, it's only some army surplus for stage wear.

Have a good day everyone.

This sounds beautiful and I will be trying this this evening!

Morning all. A 5.1 for me on this very grey morning.

Have a great day folks and stay safe.

Afternoon all - another glorious day in paradise!

5.1 this morning. I am well pleased! It's gone up to 8 but I have been up for 3.5 hours and eaten nothing. Soon as I have posted this I am off to make tuna fish salad with avocado etc for our lunch. Then I have every intention of taking advantage of this (what might be our last beautiful day for the time being) by sitting on our new garden swing and reading my book. Pork stir fry for dinner tonight, with some coconut and lime rice (cheating with Merchant Gourmet).

Hope every one has a lovely day!

6.3 here on a cloudy cool morning but the clouds separated a while letting the sun come through. The breeze dropped and it is now a gorgeous day. Went out at lunch to play some pool for a little while winning 3-0 which makes a nice change. I met up with an old friend who was plastered as per usual.

Had an appointment that last all of 10 seconds - hardly worth bothering with, from a demanding woman. She wanted to make an appointment that will also probably last seconds.
