Group 7-day waking average?

Morning folks. 6.2

Spent vast chunks of yesterday and last night on the loo. Seems like something I ate at mum and dad’s didn’t agree with me at all.
Today I’ll head to Boots and pick up some Imodium Dual Action as I know that works for my sensitive digestive system.

Watch Dr Who yesterday which wasn’t half bad. In fact this series has been consistently better than the previous one I think.

Did have tickets to see My Master Builder at the theatre with Euan McGregor but didn’t relish the prospect of going and spending most of my time there on the loo so skipped it!
I'd get Diorlyte or rehydration sachets as well. Hopefully you will feel better soon once whatever it was has exited your system.

Morning all. 5.8 after a hypo and a massive high while sitting in the theatre. War Horse was excellent, you actually forgot the horse was a puppet and got caught up in the story. Today we are visiting my sister in law, calling in at mums then home for lunch. After we're meeting friends for a coffee then home for dinner and to sort out clothes ready to pack tomorrow for our trip to London, our anniversary theatre trip and visit to the Cartier exhibition. Come Thursday, i will be officially worn out!
War Horse is fantastic. Significantly fewer ridiculously huge diamonds, emeralds and rubies in comparison to the Cartier exhibition though!

What else have you got planned for your London sojourn?

That’s an idea. I’m just about to head out so I’ll see what they’ve got. I’m very well hydrated that’s for sure. I’m also a kilo down now compared to a mere two hours ago. Not that that will be the case once I actually eat something later.

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear! I’m kept hopping on my toes today & I’ve only had breakfast today as my BS keeps dropping. I had to top up twice with tea & biscuits at the 2 hour after mark & just now at the borderline mark of 6 hours so, don’t know if it’s too much NR or too much basal! Just had my 2nd lot of tea & Nice biscuits now & realised I forgot to get milk, strange as I order it every week, in the last lot of shopping on Wednesday, I always have longlife one open in the fridge & another on the countertop unopened beside the fridge! So, brought forward next Wednesday’s shop to tomorrow as there’s only enough milk for about 2 or COULD squeeze it out for 3 cups of tea! Did I ever mention that we Chinese people call what westerners drink as tea “milk tea” & I found out quite some time ago that I cannot drink tea without milk in it no matter how much sugar I put in it!

I was going to cook lunch just now but, at BS 4.5 10:14 it was too risky & had tea & biscuits first. Waiting for the libre to catch up & BS in the 5’s at least before I cook lunch!

Decided to delay tresiba a bit today to see what’s happening & I’m thinking of keeping it at 50 today instead of 52. See how that goes & if basal needs further reductions! I am a few kilos lighter than I was last summer when basal was at 51 so, maybe it’s a combo of the summer heat & my weight loss?

Ah! Now BS has shot up 11:00 BS 9.0 so, it could still be the tail end of active NR that was too much or it could still be basal? Anyway, will cook my lunch now!

6.1 for me today.

Felt vindicated yesterday as, having been off work earlier in the week with a migraine - I don't get them ever - I made an early appointment for an eye check.

When I got there they were surprised that I was there and implied I didn't need to be, as I wasn’t due.

Significant changes in my nearsightedness in both eyes and new glasses so I was glad I went. Hopefully, no more migraines and struggles to focus when reading.

Just a quiet day planned for today but I will pop and see my parents later.

6.8 late morning when I finally surfaced - I had a late night playing trying Warcraft, I'll probably never get the hang of it. Average BG 6.9 and TiR 96% - at last they're coming back in to line.

Yet another gorgeous day and I swear that wind is getting a touch warmer which I noticed on the mornings walk. Just been sat out front getting a few rays - always makes me glad to be here and full of life!

My OH gets home this afternoon and I've promised her a meal out to celebrate our 17th wedding and 12th year handfasting anniversaries this weekend. I was feeling bad about it we both had forgotten all about them. I would have felt worse if it had just been me who forgot, probably not allowed to forget again! (She's not like that though, only my paranoia speaking). We'll go to a posh restaurant somewhere close at hand, a little different from our usual fayre of Wether's!

Congratulations @Pam123 on todays' HS, two in 2 days - shall we mark it down as a regular occurrence?

We’re sorry to have missed you, we broke our journey at the J44 Premier Inn both ways, but you had taken drastic measures to avoid us by escaping to Harris! 😉
Oh no. If you’d stayed at Premier Inn junction 42 I could have walked up in 20 mins to say hi. We live a mile away. Maybe next time.

After reading your CCC of Titanique we've booked to see that on Tuesday evening, our anniversary day. Before that we're just planning to wander, see where that takes us as the weather is supposed to be nice. Any recommendations on things to see or do around the area?

If you can get tickets the Sienna exhibition at the National Gallery is a good ‘un.

Evening folks. Our Internet connection has been very ropey today so wasn't able to catch up until now. 7.6 this morning. A quick breakfast of yoghurt berries and nuts then off to local show to help with stand. We had 3 tables set up. Bee related gifts, a few games for the kids, the observation hive and masses of honey jars. Very busy despite the weather being cool and overcast. I did the morning stint. Had a wander around the show. Watched the raptor display and bought a nice wrap for SiL's birthday in a couple of weeks.

Hope you feel better soon @Lisa65 , @ColinUK and @TinaD
Congrats on another HS @Pam123
Have you got your dining room back now @eggyg ?

Hope your Sunday was relaxing.
