Group 7-day waking average?

Morning from a rather dull Cumbria. Twinned with @goodybags with a 5.8. Back to normal.

Arrived home at 9.30pm. 12 hours door to door. It was a long, hot day. Emptied the car, put perishables away, did hunt the medication, exchanged messages with our girls to let them know we were safely home, and to arrange our parental/grandparently duties for the coming week! Ah well, it was nice whilst it lasted! And went to bed.

We got a shock when we walked into our house, we knew daughter had stored some things at ours whilst we were away but we thought most, if not all, would be cleared. Absolutely not! I felt like I’d walked into one of those hoarder programmes they have on telly! Our dining room is filled to the rafters! In the hall there’s three huge suitcases, about three boxes, and randomly, a 90s boom box! Son in law was only born in 91! The plan ( made for us) is go to their new house at 10am, they wanted earlier we said no, Mr Eggy drives son in law to pick up a big van, Mr Eggy uses SIL’s work van, I look after the kids, and daughter uses her car and they empty our house, hopefully! Luckily, I hadn’t planned any dinner parties for this week. 😉

Must dash, no rest for the wicked. First wash already on. You know what they say “ if you want owt done, ask a busy woman.” Never a truer word said.

Have a smashing, sunny Sunday wherever you’re up to.

Here’s what we walked in to!

Good morning! A surprisingly low 4.7., and I woke up pretty hungry.

We had a big dinner event last night at work, so that was a particularly busy evening shift. And I expect a busy morning today as well, if most of this people are coming down for breakfast! At least I booked tomorrow off with the excuse of my diabetic eye screening. This will be my fourth one. Time flies 😱

Have a lovely Sunday x

Morning folks. 6.2

Spent vast chunks of yesterday and last night on the loo. Seems like something I ate at mum and dad’s didn’t agree with me at all.
Today I’ll head to Boots and pick up some Imodium Dual Action as I know that works for my sensitive digestive system.

Watch Dr Who yesterday which wasn’t half bad. In fact this series has been consistently better than the previous one I think.

Did have tickets to see My Master Builder at the theatre with Euan McGregor but didn’t relish the prospect of going and spending most of my time there on the loo so skipped it!

Good morning. 6.4.
Yesterday was a write off. Pain levels in neck and shoulders built up to screaming point by10a.m. Whether it was a flare of the pallindromic arthritis or the over use of crutches I dunno. Tried stoicism without success but eventually gave in to 30mg of dyhydrocodeine which proved more efficacious. Muscles had hard lumps in them so I think it was pay back time for over doing it on Friday. Stuck with day time TV made me determined not to do that again! An unadvised power cut saved me from TV for a few hours and the shoulders took my mind off the leg..so not all bad.
All good this morning but planning a quiet day with the drawing board sketching out garden design. Need to order some marker powder to replicate design on ground. I am going to grit my teeth and hire a man with a mini digger if I dont heal up soon. Pity as I had much rather play with it myself.
Lovely sunny day after a rather chilly night. No garden chairs unpacked yet so may take wheelchair out and soak up some vitamin D. Wishing us all a peaceful Sunday.

Morning all, 5.3 here, so close!
Confession time, we’ve been away in Scotland for the past week, I did wave at the @eggyg's at one point when we were on the West coast facing the Outer Hebrides, but they didn’t see us, probably got their binoculars trained on some exciting wildlife at the time. Come back to a parched garden, it did rain quite heavily on Tuesday, but you wouldn’t know it. Daughter came over and watered the veg and dahlias etc I’d left in pots, but loads of stuff that was just coming out when we left, is over, like the camassias, allium, lily of the valley, sad to have missed them, but we did have a fantastic week in Inverness. Didn’t see the loch ness monster, weather probably too hot for it, and it was lurking in the deep.

Morning all. 🙂 A humungous 9.7! Ho hum.

Not much planned today - gardening, lesson planning, etc. I got two important jobs done in the garden yesterday, so today’s tasks are: a bit of clearing and deal with the small bind weed invasion in one corner. And dry washing outside in the sun - tiny domestic tasks that bring unexplained joy!

Morning

4.4 today, hoping out for a walk and coffee with my friend, then watch the Grand Prix, maybe fit in some knitting or crotchet while watching the GP, then cooking a roast which isn’t a big task for two.

@ColinUK - hope your stomach settles soon.

@Pam123 - congratulations on yesterday’s HS, sorry to hear about your delivery in my area Parcelforce are worse than Evri.

@Robin - hope you had a good holiday, love that you caught a photo of Nessy

@eggyg - sounds like you and Bri will need another holiday after today.

We’ve come home to parched but seeded lawn. Toms were a bit parched even though we had an irrigation system going. Veg in garden looking good, can’t believe how much the potatoes have grown. Strawberries a bit on the small side. Need a good drenching tonight. Otherwise garden not too bad. Just noticed my bay tree looks worse the wear, forgot to mention watering the herb pots to daughter. Other herbs okish.

A 6.2 for me today. 🙂
Have a good Sunday everybody.

We’re sorry to have missed you, we broke our journey at the J44 Premier Inn both ways, but you had taken drastic measures to avoid us by escaping to Harris! 😉

Morning and a 7.2 for me but a Unicorn so pleased with that after left over Pizza for lunch and then Gala Pie for tea.
We had a quiet morning in garden then went to a local Village Fabre which was quite busy and a lot of stalls.
Then we had choice of a Mr Whippy or we could go to local farm shop ( which has grown enormously in popularity) and the draw of The Cheshire Farm Ice Cream won the day.
It also meant we could play our annual game of what does the price of Cheshire new potatoes have to drop to before my wife buys them.
She loves them but she refuses to buy them until a certain price or until she can’t hold out any longer. The price was £5 a kilo but visiting our favourite farm shop today so hopefully they will be cheaper there but if not we will have to make do with a nice lunch and another Ice Cream. It will be a family occasion as taking son and partner and daughter works there.
Have booked our dogs in for our July trip and now we can sort out a hotel ideally Cotswolds but we will find somewhere.
Good to watch Cup final yesterday and another one today and prospect of rain end of next week and very nice week at work ahead so all good here.

5.9 this morning, getting better!

Enjoyed our day to ourselves yesterday, got loads of bbq meat from the farm shop to keep us going for ages, cleaned the whole house top to bottom. I also managed to get 100% in another mock exam. Last mock today later on then a bit of final reading tomorrow ready for the exam on Tuesday morning. The pass mark is 28/46, so about 61% so I should be ok, but you never know what questions will turn up in the actual exam! They are all multiple choice with 4 possible answers, so at the worst you can often eliminate 2 obviously wrong answers then it might be a 50/50 choice on the remaining 2.

My wife’s nephew and his family are coming for a bbq today then we’ll visit my parents later on.

Have a great Sunday everyone!

5.7 on a rather cool and grey Berkshire morning, although the sun's forecast to put in an appearance later. Hope so - Sunday's always towel change day and the last thing I want is to have to put a towels wash in the tumble dryer.

As usual on a Sunday, just me up so far (I'm definitely a lark rather than an owl) and our youngest isn't home yet after staying over at a mate's last night, so I don't know what anyone's plans are for the day. Grass needs cutting, so that's one for me, and a friend is coming round later to change 3 of our power sockets to black. The current white ones don't go with the newly-decorated hall, stairs and landing. He's not a Sparky but is more switched on (excuse the pun) than we are with all things electric.

@ColinUK - hope you're feeling better soon.

@Pam123 - congratulations on your HS yesterday.

Enjoy your Sunday, whatever you're doing.

7.6, quite high for me! Probably due to snacking during Eurovision!

I had a dream I found some rare Pokemon cards and sold them for £6k and was able to book a holiday for my family. Was most disappointed to wake up and find this hadn't happened
Unfortunately my days of card collecting are long behind me!

Morning everyone. A rather low 4.4 for me this morning, I must have two more squares of chocolate before bed the amount of time I wake in the fours is too often.

Have a good day everyone and stay well.

Morning all. 5.8 after a hypo and a massive high while sitting in the theatre. War Horse was excellent, you actually forgot the horse was a puppet and got caught up in the story. Today we are visiting my sister in law, calling in at mums then home for lunch. After we're meeting friends for a coffee then home for dinner and to sort out clothes ready to pack tomorrow for our trip to London, our anniversary theatre trip and visit to the Cartier exhibition. Come Thursday, i will be officially worn out!

Good morning all We had a rather carby tea last night went to bed on a 10.0 This morning 6.1 . Went to pub yesterday afternoon with another resident and one of the staff.
