Group 7-day waking average?

Morning a 7.1 for me and a short but decent sleep due to warm weather band dogs up early.
Lovely lunch out yesterday and sat outside at local nursery where we had a lovely backdrop of trees and also found out our local artisan bakery which is in the countryside has opened up a new coffee shop this week.
So enjoying weather and spent a lot of time in garden yesterday so my levels up and down as drop low due to effort and then have to eat more to get back higher so always a bit of juggling.
Nice week ahead and dropping son off at work for 9am and then heading off for a day in Cheshire.

Morning all. 6.9. Off round mum's this morning, calling in at my brother's on the way back then home to enjoy some sunshine and read. This week is a bit busy.
 
Morning all. 7.3, I’m ok with that as I also got a unicorn, after hypoing almost everyday these holidays I managed to avoid it yesterday whilst/after walking. It was close though, I was nibbling a chocolate oatie on the last furlong of our mammoth 13.5 mile hike. It did the trick.

The Coffin Route was a great walk, started off with jacket, fleece and tee shirt on, jackets off within 20 minutes and rammed into our rucksacks, my fleece was off after an hour. Tied it around my waist, Mr Eggy managed a bit longer before having to take his off. Only met two other walkers going in the opposite direction, and then met them again! It was a rocky and rugged terrain and lots of lochs and lochans, but not too much elevation, and a defined path, that always helps. Once off the Coffin Route we had a bit of road walking before joining the old road which went through a quarry and back on the road up to the cottage, the last mile was when I started aching, hips, back and feet. Did our stretches as soon as we got in and we’re both fine this morning. Just a quiet day today though!

Currently cooking a full Scinglish, Cumberland sausage but with Stornaway white pudding and tattie scones. Sunny but very breezy today, the little turbine across the road looks like it’s going to take off! Going to do a wash, it’s a grand drying day!

A few photos from yesterday, I was absolutely chuffed to bits to not only hear lots of cuckoos but I saw two! I’ve only put on one photo, it’s not brilliant but it’s better than the one I took three years ago. Also a redshank, that’s the one with the red legs, haven’t seen one of those for ages. All in all a great day out. There’s an oyster catcher and common sandpiper in there too. Oh and a frog, I think, or is it a toad? Anyone know?

Definitely a frog. And quite a pretty one at that.

A toad would have more matte knobbly skin. And would walk, not hop.
 
Morning everyone. Well it’s a beautiful start to the day but storms are coming around midday so anything wanting doing outside needs to be done before then.

Woke to an alarm at 5.40am - 2.3! I must have missed an earlier one. Shouldn’t have been caught out because I took extra insulin pre-dinner after some cheese crumpets (I know) for tea with visiting Australian friends.

Beautiful day. But the BBC Weather and the local weather disagree about rain or thunderstorms later. A bit like diabetes specialists …

Good Morning all. Congratulations all the good glucose levels, keep up the good work. I am 6.3 mmol this morning, better than yesterday when it was 7.3, I have my blood test again next Monday I do hope the result is ok, I really don't want any more meds.

Love the pictures @eggyg I agree its definiately a frog but I wonder what is the gold disc hanging out the corner of its mouth? R my eyes playing trix on me again.....

6.1, same as yesterday, but can't say the same about the weather - it's overcast, and it must have rained pretty heavily during the night. There's a chance of more later. The garden did need it, to be fair, but it has brought out the first slugs of the year and required the Slug Patrol to be deployed.

Our eldest's futsal team won their final match yesterday and he scored the winner with just seconds left to play. It was heading for a draw until he saw their keeper well off his line, so he thumped it in from inside his own half and was promptly mobbed by his teammates. They finished the season 5th, so top half, but a point shy of making the play-offs. Meanwhile his brother, who fractured his collar bone playing 5-a-side football a few months back, is back playing again tonight.

A trip to the recycling centre this afternoon (my wife spent part of the weekend having a bit of a clear-out) and a stop-off in town on the way back, otherwise nothing special planned.
