5.7 this morning.

Horrible day yesterday. Visited Mum and Dad after a volunteering session on Hatton Locks, Mum was really bad and saying all sorts of horrible things. She’s convinced she is the Lake District and will only stay whilst Dad is alive then made us promise to take her back home when he is gone. She said she’s so unhappy there and only staying to honour her marriage vows to look after Dad. I know it’s the dementia and not her, but it’s so hard to handle. We’re not visiting again until Monday but Dad has messaged to say she is better today which is something.

Hope everyone is ok.

They look nice and healthy. Should be fine outdoors now. They like a reasonable amount of sun but dry out quickly in hot weather so need daily watering. Put them somewhere you will be able to check them easily.

Good morning 6.2
Started Tresiba this morning so I'm guessing some higher readings for a while until I get the dose right.
I have to say the Novopen 6 is so much nicer to use than the plasticky disposable pens. Plus it links to the Libre app directly which is rather fancy!
Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning and a 8 for me after a bit of DP but a very deep sleep as very tired.
The Village Fayre was very busy and we dropped off everything on time and was straightforward and picked wife up at 1 pm so had 4 hours there and sold everything she took.
Saw friends but not much time to chat and really warm day.
Just rested and watched TV in afternoon so a lazy day but nice to just relax.
Not sure if we are venturing out today or just another lazy one as still to decide.
Take care all

Good morning, 5.3 today.

Child seems to be having a fantastic time at the sleepover. When we arrived the girls had individual teepees with fairy lights and trays full of party gifts, it looked amazing.
Husband and I had fish and chips by the sea yesterday evening, it was lovely.
Today we are catching up on housework and off to church. We will see how tired 7yo is when we pick her up later this afternoon!

Morning all

4.8 for me today, which I’ll take after yesterday’s weird BG chaos (for no apparent reason!)

Morning all. 6.1 for me.
Another beautiful morning here but I can hear the wind howling and next doors pretend hawk ( to scare predators from their veggies) is doing loop the loops!

Big walk day today, unlike “normal” people who would drive and park at the beginning of a trail/route, we’re starting from the cottage which puts another four miles on the total. So 12 miles, probably more because we tend to either get lost or go off piste, or both!

Just a quiet stroll along the beach yesterday, still took three hours, we found a gate that lead to the rocky part of the beach, that was nice, lots of rock pools. We clambered over the rocks and got into the beach and slowly walked to the end. I picked shells, Mr Eggy took photos. It was breezy yesterday and the sea was choppy, it was amazing, dark ominous clouds hung over the mountains. Got home at 5, had a glass of wine and stared out of the window over to the estuary. We had steak and sautéed potatoes with all the trimmings for tea. Lovely end to a lovely day.

Have a super Sunday, I believe the forecast is good for you not in Harris! After a couple of hours of sunshine we may get showers, we’re ok with that, Mr Eggy can’t wait! He wants some “moody” shots!

Good morning 6.6 today
following the nearest thing to a flat line overnight I’ve ever seen, was thinking the line on my Libra defiantly didn’t look like the representation of Peak District that it sometimes does

explanation regarding my “pist-ing” in the garden yesterday @MeeTooTeeTo  🙄 …. no it wasn’t a “Allo-Allo’ism” just a goodybags slightly careless post 🙄
hey’ I was just thinking I wouldn’t be any good as a copy writer would I,also near vision slightly shall we say slightly not what it used to be (in one eye) enough said on that on 😉😉 stress dyslexic etc… or was it just a tranquil moment in the garden & lack of concentration from moi (mais wee)

a fantastic session yesterday morning at the walking football & MH wellbeing support session, somebody from one one of the charity’s that partnerships the program provider attended which was interesting in our post match chat yesterday, also great news looks like at the start of the next football season (after all it is football related) its going in a slightly different direction & changing location which might possibly make it better attended following changes that will include more natch day invites,
anyway she took plenty of photos I look forward to seeing them & I will share them after I’ve seen them myself

Following breakfast both myself and Mrs @goodybags are going out for a walk (she doesn’t know it yet) but she admitted to me yesterday evening she needs more exercise

looks like it’s going to be a sensational sunny Sunday
Enjoy 😎

Morning all. 🙂 6.1 here.

Nice day yesterday - haircut, coffee in nice café (accompanied by unknown Labrador, hoping for a bit of my bacon and eggs to hit the floor), more coffee with bezzie, stop-off at B&Q, and...home.

I’m hoping for rain today. Some of the garden plants are looking a bit frazzled. I might nip to the nearest garden centre this morning. Then I need to do some lesson planning and print off my OH’s travel documents - he’s off the Spain next week.

Lovely pics @eggyg.

Morning

4.6 today, off for a walk and coffee with a friend, then 1/2 hour Pilates session from the Bodycoach app, followed by some knitting or crotchet, I really should finish off the 5 things I have started, but I am not a fan of sewing them up or I might sit in the garden and read.

A 5.6 for me today. 🙂
Sunday cryptic crossword awaits.

Morning all, 6.6 here, managed to get the dosage right last night, which was a first for me, when I’ve done a long walk and had a glass of red wine. I messed up during the walk instead. We stopped for a cup of tea half way round, and I resisted the cake, knowing we’d got cake at home ready for when we got back, then I ended up having to chug jelly babies all the way round the second half..might as well have had the cake in the cafe!
