Group 7-day waking average?

@PattiEvans Happy Birthday! I hope you've had a lovely day. Also Happy Birthday to your hubby for tomorrow.

Happt Birthday to @Barrowman too.

Good morning everyone.

If the HS was anything but 5.2 I would not get many and yet today, again, sorry, it is 5.2 at 5am. Can I have a gold star please. I am amazed because I ate a chocolate Easter egg yesterday and had pizza for tea.

Just completed recording a song yesterday. Probably the best recording I have ever done. Recording is hard. It is pretty much guaranteed that everything in the universe will go wrong as soon as you hit the record button. So it usually takes hundreds of takes (for me) and yet this song took just 5 takes to complete.

I played back the final result and I almost fell off my seat. I sounded like Rodger Whittaker!!! I kid you not. It is the first time I have ever liked my own singing voice.

Yesterday a special office chair arrived and it took both of us to put it together!! It wasn't difficult just that the main parts were very stiff and awkward to align and screw together. The result is really good and ideal for my wife as it goes much lower than normal office chairs and is way more comfy. Good for when she is doing her craft work. I am trying to create a complete room for her for her hobbies.

Hopefully, today, a special keyboard stand will arrive for my wifes keyboard. Again it will go lower than normal keyboards specially for her.

I may just rest today (fat chance) as my hip is giving me some trouble.

Have a great day today whatever you are doing.

Good morning. 6.8 on second go - the first offered 14.3! Orange juice contamination of finger hopefully.
Looks like another nice day so far. Plumber, electrician, platerboarders and neighbour coming today so that will make up for 3 days isolation. Fortunately saved from unremitting day time tv by library on kindle.

Managed several wobbly stands of a few seconds each on left leg yesterday while clinging to chest of drawers and wheelchair - working on getting a leg to stand on before trying crutches. Physio coming on 1 May so having to make up exercises until then.

Off to wave a sponge at accessible parts - oh for a nice hot shower...

Hope everyone has a good day. Belated happy birthday to @PattiEvans and @Barrowman.

Morning and a 5.9 on getting up for me and no highs in the night. In fact yesterday my BG level did not go very high despite some morning Cake at the 2nd of our 3 Garden Centre visits.
Bought a small Tree Fern as well as a tall Jasmin and then had our much bigger Tree Fern delivered which had been overwintered at another Nursery.
We both had Hot Chocolate with our cake and I had just fruit for Lunch as have a lot in at the moment and my breakfast was all berries.
Quiet afternoon and evening as wife was out so just looking after dogs but looking forward to this week as feeling optimistic at moment.
Have a good week.

Happy birthday for yesterday @PattiEvans and @Barrowman

My BGs have been all over the place since arriving in Turkey, probably due to erratic meal times, differing amounts of exercise, warmer weather and a certain over indulgence in treats. However after a low carb tea of aubergine kebab last night I was woken at 2am by the low glucose alert (3.9) which despite two glucose tablets stubbornly refused to go up. So I had to go and eat a banana, once it finally reached 5 I went back to sleep. This took about an hour. Woke up with a 5.2 and a headache just now.
We are going to the dog sanctuary later this morning to visit the old boy who I have sponsored for years. I always pay him a visit when I come out and take him for a walk.

Happy belated birthdays to @PattiEvans and @Barrowman

And happy birthday to J for today too @PattiEvans

6.1

Not had a HS in ages. I think @Gwynn you’re hoarding them all!

Off to the docs this morning to be jabbed with a needle or two. Not to be confused with heading to the docks and finding a prick or two, this is fasted blood test as part of the investigation into what’s up. Of course I’m hungry this AM as well but I’ll cope.

Afterwards I’m heading straight to the V&A and the Cartier exhibition. I’m expecting sparkles galore.

C’est tout.

Morning all Hope you all had a good Easter i did last night i ate a whole bar of 85% chocolate This morning my BG was 8.5 (hangs head in shame)
You all have a good safe day
love to all

These things happen. I read on the forum how others break up chocokate some for the day and store the rest for another day. Alas, that measure of control doesn't appear in my DNA!

Morning all. 🙂 7.9 here...less said about that, the better.

We had a nice relaxing weekend at my Mum’s. There are some fab walks from her house - cliffs, beach, woods all in one walk. Perfect! Caught up with my bezzie too - she’s in the middle of having a tooth implant so has a mouth full of stitches and is fed up of vegan baby food. She was trying hard not to laugh but gave up in the end.

Today...we’re hanging pictures...and then I’ll be hovering up the dust. Our walls are made of some kind of black rock that’s as hard as kryptonite - not looking forward to it but the job needs doing!

Happy Tuesday folks.

Morning all. 7.7, that’s after a whopping and totally undeserved, 15.4 at 9.30pm. With insulin still on board I took a 2 units of basal. think I’ve an infection brewing, didn’t feel “right” yesterday, achy and my stomach was playing up big style. Hopefully today will bring better numbers.

Home from our Easter “ break” by just after 11am. It takes less than 30 minutes, it can take that long to get to other end of the town sometimes. The others stayed on and had lunch and some went swimming, again, they all proclaimed it a brilliant weekend. And that’s the main thing. We unpacked and did little else. Today is another day. Washing, of course, forecast good. And tonight is Camera Club dinner and awards event. As Mr Eggy is the chairman we will go early to let the caterers in and help the committee members to set up the tables. It won’t be a late night, thank goodness.

Congratulations @Gwynn and @Lisa65 on your HSs. And sorry for forgetting @Barrowman on your birthday.

As promised here’s the red squirrel photos. Cheeky little things. Highlight of my holiday.
