Group 7-day waking average?

How about for a bit of fun if people who test in the mornings post their waking levels? I think it would be interesting to see what the average works out at after a week 🙂

I'll start with mine - I was 6.0 when I woke up this morning 🙂

(please don't let me be the only person to enter one! 😉)
Mine was 6.5 but I always get low sugar in the night and get up to have fast acting glucose and a snack

Was an 8.5 for me this morning.Just got in with dog Two big walks today.Suns been out .Ice cream van in the park . Hope everyone has had a great day.Look after yourselves
Lucky you, It's been grey, misty and miserable here. Boxing day should be cold and frosty and sunny, just right for a walk. It was either Blackstone Edge or Hollingworth Lake in Lancashire.*

5.8 for me this morning, but that involved an overly generous correction just before 4am and then 3JBs about 5.30am. The high felt far worse than the low, but very happy waking up to to a nice in range number and very grateful to Libre for helping me negotiate my night time turbulence with confidence.
Off to my sister's this afternoon for my favourite meal of the year.... Boxing Day leftovers! Hope everyone has a lovely relaxing day.
Nice to see you back on this thread Barbara. You’ve missed loads, I’ve now got another 12 grandchildren, sorry I mean another 2 grandchildren, it just feels like 12 at times!

Grey here (in London) all day but dry and not too cold, so ideal for a bike ride. Richmond Park had lots of humans in cars in it, unfortunately - but they managed to keep out of my way.

Many congratulations on the new additions to the @eggyg dynasty. The world can only be a better place for having more eggys in it. <3

That sounds fantastic. Except for the cheating with the early presents, you are supposed to wait until the morning of the 6th of January.
I know! We always do the 25th with my mum's side of the family because we have people coming from Madrid. In our home (parents, brother and I) we did respect the tradition of the 6th until now, but this year I'll be back in England by then, so I'm happy to cheat a little bit :D

6.6

Met up with a friend yesterday and led him on a hike all over Hampstead Heath. Up Parliament Hill, through to Golders Hill Park, Inverforth House and the Great Pergola, Kenwood House and back to Parliament Hill. All in all a lovely almost 10 mile walk with frequent stops to pet random dogs caked in mud. Was good!

Killing time now for the next four or so hours before gym. Seeing my folks later and need to call IAPTS about an assessment for NHS provided EMDR.

15.2 😱 been like that all night after yesterday's Christmas excesses. I'm back to the low carbing today to get it back down. I've had some extra abasaglar this morning as well. I slept surprisingly well apart from a couple of trips to the loo.

Morning a 7.2 for me and a flat line after the left over Xmas veggies for tea with a 2nd bedtime surge with the roastie effects.
Had some of home made pate at Lunch with curly toast and Turkey and stuffing sandwich so can’t say I am missing out and did my 10000 steps as well so getting sone fresh air as well.
Off out to garden centre today and a Supermarket trip not to buy any more food but a few basics but is more about returning to normality.
Good sleep and dogs walked and now having their toast well a Dogs Life in our house is pretty good but the 2 legged ones don’t do so bad.
Have a Good Friday and seems funny saying it is w/ end soon.

Good morning 6.9 today

Morning all. 6.9 for me on waking, after a pretty flat night, though my high alert did chime shortly before midnight (one too many pieces of chocolate earlier in the evening?) so I had to take 2 units of NovoRapid to nudge it back in range.

Morning all you Friday fingerpricking folks. 6.2.

Our stay at home all day didn’t happen, for a nice reason, it was such a lovely bright day we took ourselves out for a Boxing Day bimble. Just three miles down to “our” river to see the progress of the new bypass. When I set off I had a hat, scarf and gloves on, when I got home, the scarf and gloves were off, jacket and fleece unzipped! Hat doesn’t come off doesn’t matter how hot I am, I didn’t want to scare away the other walkers!
Got home 2.30, I’d already sorted out the turkey and it was crammed into the freezer, I decamped to the living room and promptly had a nana nap! Mr Eggy warmed up the leftovers and we ate in front of the telly at 6pm. Nothing on the TV so we binge watched ( two episodes is binging for us) Black Doves on Netflix. It’s surprisingly good, and very stylish for Netflix, and Richard Armitage isn’t in it! Kiera Knightly, Ben Wishaw AKA Paddington and Raquel from Corrie ( Sarah Lancashire)! Give it a go if you haven’t already.

Only plan today is a bit washing and maybe ironing, chop up a half price leg of lamb and try and squeeze that into a freezer, we’ve two, haven’t a clue what we’re having for tea, but it won’t be “bleeping” turkey! :( We have vowed we are NEVER a buying it again. I want you to remind me next Christmas time.

Have a good day.

Morning all, 5.8 here.
I’m jealous of your weather, @eggyg , we’ve had unrelieved gloom here all over Christmas and it’s so foggy out this morning, I'm wondering if daughter and I will be able to see our grey pony let alone catch him (he does come to call sometimes, but can have selective deafness if he’s just found a tasty patch of grass)

10.5 this morning. Did pretty well all day yesterday considering it was another buffet situation but miscalculated for tea and then fell asleep early as coming down with a cold so didn't go a before bed reading so no chance to correct.

Ah well. Back on the healthy eating now so will get it under control very quickly.

Annoyed to be coming down with a cold though. Wanted to get out for a run but not going to risk that...

A 5.6 for me this morning. 🙂 Off later for a nice long walk to make up for 2 days of relative inactivity.

Morning

4.4 today, did eat a little bit of chocolate yesterday and 1/2 a slice of my daughter’s chocolate brownie Yule log, it was delicious. Today will largely consist of sitting down as I have now got hubby’s lurgy. I am supposed to be meeting friends for a walk tomorrow and going out Sunday so just going to rest up today hubby is back at work this afternoon/ evening.

Back to Earth with a bump this morning !
11.4

It was Mary Berry's homemade Raspberry trifle wot done it !

Smoked Salmon and half a slice of bread with salad followed by a Clementine this morning. Calories and carbs to be counted.

And NO Quality Street today, not a single one.
