Group 7-day waking average?

Morning everyone and a Merry Christmas to you all. A happy 4.8 for me on this nice sunny morning and I'm off for a shortish bike ride shortly.

Have a great day everyone, enjoy your Christmas dinner and stay well.

Good morning to all and a 7 for me.

Just been for a morning stroll - an hour or so round some tracks and lanes on the edge of the village - and although a bit gloomy it was very peaceful.

Sadly I have to report that the Goosnargh Duck is no more. If any of you go to a posh restaurant and get offered said duck then remonstrate with them vehemently. The farm where they were raised, the farmhouse, the sheds and all the paraphernalia needed to feed them with the corn grown in adjacent fields are no more. The whole thing is being replaced by the new, easy money, agricultural cash crop, houses. So no more Goosnargh Duck and despite what the restaurant say, you will be fed with some inferior duck.

Did see this fellow in a field next to the track....wonder who he is looking for.....

Good morning 7.1 today

Merry Christmas  <3

Merry Christmas to all!

6.3 this morning.

Haven't had time to notice the weather! Busy finishing the prep and par-cooking veg. Could kill hubby wanting 7 different kinds of veg - am running out of pans! He's gone off to pick up our guest from the other side of the (very small) town. Just 3 of us for Christmas dinner, so Chateaubriand with Port and Roquefort sauce for us today.

Congratulations to @Robin on the HS and lovely to see @rebrascora posting in this thread.

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Merry Christmas everyone! 5.4 for me. Hopefully starting well at that level today won’t be too much of a rollercoaster or peaks! New coffee machine (present from my wife) already pressed into action, lots of experimenting to do and even a link on the instructions to a video to watch, but already the second cup was getting to the taste I like 🙂

Congratulations @Robin on your Christmas HS!

Hope everyone enjoys the day!

7.7 here. Did you ever get the feeling that the present you bought for your beloved, was wrong? Well it happened. NOT the kind of Xmas morning to be cherished.

We don't do presents. It is much safer and less expensive! Hope the atmosphere improves as the day goes on!

The day went better and better with xmas dinner at the Greaves Park restaurant in a clear roaded City. My wife and my mother-in-law ate heartedly with I had a different meal, consisting of white fish, sprouts and baked spuds followed by a trio of puddin's. I shouldn't complain as the company was loving and kind.

Hope your day went well with a contented company!

Merry Christmas everyone! 🙂 <3 A festive 6.4 for me today 🙂

Love the tights! I've been at work this morning so have been sporting my Christmas tights under my uniform! (And my Christmas tree hair band above it!). I think I managed to convince at least one toddler that I was an elf, not a midwife!

No number for me today - been so busy, I didn't realise my strips were running low. Oh well - of all the days not to know how what you're eating is affecting you - I suppose Christmas is probably that day.

I hope that if you celebrate, your day has been lovely. And if you don't celebrate that your day has been lovely too!

The day is gone in my time zone and I only have a few minutes left in UK time to say it, so Merry Christmas/Feliz Navidad!:care:

Hope everyone had a nice one, whatever (if anything) you celebrate. I had a traditional celebration for the first time in a few years and really, really enjoyed it. Big family meals, lot of lovely food (and not really carby this year, except for dessert), admittedly more alcohol that I regularly drink... I got to open presents which was exciting, the past few years I was away in this dates so my family sent money and that's very practical and appreciated, but I missed the surprises!

In my family Christmas Eve is the big deal, when we all dress up in our finest and have special food. We started after 9 pm, waited just 15 minutes into Christmas Day to open the presents, stayed at my grandparents until almost 3 am. Loads of chat and laughs, and a funny situation with Secret Santa where two of my aunties received the same model of handbag, each of them was bought by one of my parents, they did NOT know they've chosen the same! My mum had shown me the bag she got for Auntie A, and when I saw Auntie B open her bag I thought there was some mistake.

I managed dinner very well until the sweet selection came around, BG stayed fine for a while, then at 2 am I literally told my Libre to go F itself because it said 16 and rising. I apologised later, I know that's just shooting the messenger. Yes, I realise the Libre is an inanimate object, all that was me being silly after a few glasses of wine 😛

Christmas lunch was a more relaxed affair, in comparison, and the relatives that came from other cities went back home after. My parents, brother and I ended up going to my other grandma's house for coffee and got to see some other family members. Then we had a light snacky dinner and watched "Love actually" at home (none of us had watched it yet, believe it or not!). All in all a very complete, festive day 🙂

Good morning! No idea what woke me so early bar had an early night as community aerial lost its signal. Anyway 6.2.

Home alone like yesterday.
Cloudy.

Morning all.

Hope everyone had a lovely day yesterday and won convincing victories at whatever board/card/silly game they agreed to play with family etc after lunch.

6.6 this morning for me.

Good morning, 7.4 for me which after last night's trifle isn't bad. We are having our family Christmas dinner today, I don't intend to eat loads but I WILL be having some Christmas pudding.
