Group 7-day waking average?

Good day, I missed my meds couple of days ago. Back to them now. This morning I was 6.8. and I was eating out today, had a wonderful turkey dinner with all the trimmings and Berry strudel with custard to follow, I felt so much Joy :D What I did was a walk before lunch, then another after lunch and I have also scrubbed the floor, 3 hours after finishing eating I am at 8mmol so I am quite happy with that, but do hope I will be able to get morning fast figures a bit lower again soon.

Oh I did enjoy that turkey dinner sooooo good 😛 <3

@freesia hope you get ASDA kicked into touch!
All sorted. Balance just had to be transferred to a new card but branch couldn't do that (or even tell us that). Main customer services had to do it. Shopping all done now apart from fresh veg, cream etc.

Good morning, 6.4 today. I went a bit higher than I wanted last night after eating sausage casserole, so I went to bed on 7.4. My partner bought the sausages from the butcher and I guess they must have had some non - meat content. So I've asked him to get Heck from the supermarket next time.

Morning all, a back to normal early rise. 5.7.

I did buck my ideas up and went into town to chose new specs yesterday afternoon. It’s a dear do getting new glasses! 😳 Merry Christmas Eggy! I’ll be getting nowt else from Santa.😉

Busy day today, hence the early hour, I like a bit of peace before our early doors childcare, 8.15, just the one child, big sister at nursery. Mr Eggy will pay a short visit to his mother this afternoon, still in hospital, then when he returns I need to get ready as I’m going out with friends for tea, and getting picked up just before 5. Baby will go home 5.30ish, and Mr Eggy will go to his Camera Club Christmas party. It’s days like this I wish we had two cars. He’ll pick me up after he’s finished. It won’t be a late night for either of us, thank goodness.

Happy Diaversary @Elenka_HM for last week.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning a 7.3 for me but nice flat line.
Nice day in Welsh Marches yesterday and lovely countryside driving around.I do enjoy driving so never seems like work and must admit Lunch was in a true Greasy Spoon but was fine and needed a wee stop.
Not back late and WFH today apart from have Flu and Covid jabs at 9am today at local pharmacy. Then we have a gardener coming so see how he gets in with cutting hedges.
Dogs walked so a lie down for an hour and then ready for day ahead.

morning all 5.4 for me
8 sleeps till Santa comes
you all have a good day
love to you all

Morning all. 3.7 despite waking every hour since 2am with the low alarm going off and a lot of JBs. I didn't sleep well either because whole lower body joints ached for some reason. A nap id on the cards for later i think.

Good Morning forum friends 5.5 today

Update on my foot, yesterday afternoon I did got seen at the foot clinic (within the hospital) which was a relief, although they weren’t 100% happy with what Mrs @goodybags had done (to look after my toe over the weekend) the Podiatrist kind of said she understood under the circumstances why we did what we did, and it’s not infected anyway which is a relief, obviously they dressed it, showed me how to look after it and gave me the needed dressings and an offloading shoe again
so will be attempting to take things slightly easier, whilst toe recovers (silvernitrate dressing this time rather than inadine, I'm told this should aid fast healing) 🙄

I had also noticed as @PattiEvans mentioned yesterday that @Martin.A hadn't been on since the middle of last week also @BobbleHat has been absent a few weeks hope they are both well :thankyou:

Have a Terrific Tuesday everyone 😎

Morning all. Another 9.8 after a hypo overnight - at least the Libre alarm went off this time. Not sure what to tweak...I’ll see how things go tonight.

Off to mum’s to do “the big shop” for Xmas day. Mind you, she’s taking a not-very-mobile friend to the dentist at midday, so I’ll get her to email me the list and do the shopping myself. Then we can sit down this afternoon and have a good old natter. My older brother’s got a new GF apparently - a “young” girlfriend to boot (how old is “young”, I wonder, when he’s in his 60s?). His daughters don’t approve, so she I reckon she’s in her 30s LOL. Good for him, he’s got all the family good looks and charm, AND a full head of hair.

The pot’s tiny @eggyg!! Ask Santa for a new one, you’ve been very good this year after all, tee hee.

Snap, here's a snap + waiting to go to Podiatry. Think mine is slightly worse as last week's Podiatrist seems adverse to Silver Alginate dressings...

Morning all. 5.4 on waking for me. It is now at 7.8 (after breakfast and a morning walk in the rain) which is pretty good, all things considered. A pretty flat day yesterday. A little on the high side overnight, but that is because I had a small snack shortly before bedtime and clearly underestimated the effect.

A 6.2 for me today. 🙂

5.1 today for me.

Not much planned today so I must get those rum truffles made! Finally got my son and daughter organised - we are going over to my daughter’s Boxing Day evening. She’s had a nightmare organising pantomime tickets when they originally thought the Saturday before Christmas had been booked - it hadn’t. So they’re going to the pantomime during the day on Boxing Day when we would have originally gone around. Still, the evening will be just as good.

Have a good day everyone!

@MikeyBikey obviously your situation is slightly mire serious than mine
