Group 7-day waking average?

Good evening! Hope everyone has had/is having a good day, my day was profitable.

6.5 this morning, which seems to be a very long time ago, now. TIR at 65% and can't seem to shift it to be more healthy!

Morning and a 6.5 which really happy with as having an Evening Meeting last night with a buffet ( only ate moderately) so had a bowl of cereal before bed and a correction dose but managed to stay fairly steady.
Got home at 10 as no traffic and only took 45 minutes to do the 50 miles (virtually all motorway).
So a slow start this morning and a 2pm appointment in Manchester but a great lunch spot nearby ( traditional tearoom) and timing perfect.
Then taking two dogs to the Vets for their annual jabs( why should I have all the fun)
Have a great week.

Good morning nice to wake to a 6.0 today, as last night was 6.0 on hitting the pillow

Yesterday 2 hospital visits, first thing collected my hearing aids, although they are NHS freebie’s technology has moved on it seems (or maybe I just had the wrong perception of them )
I was actually pleasantly surprised with them & think I’m going to get on well with them
although I haven’t yet looked if the bluetooth will pair with my work computer and Microsoft teams if it does that’s a bonus, but have connected to both personal and work phones

Then back at the hospital in afternoon, this time was planned appointment at Eye department (DMO Clinic)
the Dr I’m under there was fully aware what had happened last week and had already spoken to the surgeons team
I’ve never had so many different eye scans in such a small space of time, anyway great that they seem to be ontop of the fast developing cataract in my right eye,
like everyone else I’ve spoken to the Dr assures me I am fit to drive and gave me some advice for when I need to drive in low level lighting, however it will be good to get a date for surgery over at Oxford.

With both these hospital appointments to attend yesterday I decided not to return to work yesterday but will be in today (will see how understanding management are regarding that)
we’ve got more major changes coming at work
so will be making both management and HR aware before those start later this week what I’ve been through/still going through.

Congrats on yesterdays HS @Gwynn & @Barrowman
@Grannylorraine hoping your day back at work yesterday was ok

Have a terrific Tuesday everyone

Good morning everyone

BG 5.3 hmmm HS playing hard to get/tease

Yesterday I was so bored doing nothing.

Today I will venture out as I have a neeting with one of the church leaders. Could be interesting. I am trying to suggest solutions to a problem that needs resolving. Nothing serious tho. I just hope my hip has healed sufficiently for me to walk across town.

Other than that? I have to prepare tea, mince, carrots, mashed potatoes. Really nice (no onions!!! )

Have a great day today whatever you are doing

Morning 7.1 while laid in bed and 9.7 as soon as I stood up.

Weather seems a little calmer today.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning all. And a 5.2! This is my 4th this month. I’m not doing anything differently except maybe more walking than previous months.

Done our bit for My Future Health and then went into town to pick up a book I’d ordered for Eden and bought one for Zara whilst there. I always buy books for my grandchildren at Christmas, to me, they are the best gift ever. Christmas cards and recycled wrapping paper bought too. Christmas shopping almost done, some cash needed to top up the four eldest grandchildrens’ haul, and the customary chocolate for all the grandchildren and boxes of biscuits for the adult children. Happy I’ve got it all but finished.

Quiet day today, I might attempt to start wrapping presents, not as much “stuff” this year as the families have got a “big” present per family ie Starlink for one, experiences for another, and a new Hoover for the other. I’m sick of “stuff”, what I’ve bought has been carefully thought through, no presents for the sake of it, everything is useful and or needed. There’s too much “ stuff” on the planet as it is.

Have a fab day, looks like Bert has gone. Cooler today than of late. Mild in November is just so wrong.

4.7 for me perfect

Morning all. 6.5 here.

Another pesky sensor that reads higher than a finger prick, boo hoo. Bit of a pain, especially for driving - being hyper-vigilant, but fingers are sore!

We always give books as a family @eggyg - we all love reading, the next generation as well. And my big brother buys everyone the most random books - the history of lemons or cheese, that kind of thing. I reckon it’ll be something to do with coffee this year (he sells the stuff).

Morning all, 6.9 here, a smidge of Dawn. Managed to do the food shop yesterday without encountering any floods, the town I visit is up on a hill. Won’t venture in the opposite direction to the larger town down at river level, as both roads in from this direction are flooded. (the narrow back route one runs right by the river and always floods, so hardly surprising, but I’m always amused by the fact that it’s called Dry Lane.)

I always ask for books for Mothers Day, my birthday and Christmas. My daughters all say “it’s boring” buying me the same things all the time but it’s what I like. I send a list out a month before Christmas, that reminds me, I haven’t done it yet. It’s quite long this year! I’ve been watching Between the Covers on a Tuesday with Sara Cox and end up with another three or four on my list every week!

6.2 and still got the remains of a cold.

Saw Wicked (film) yesterday and boy is it good! I’m not a fan of the stage show but this is a great, fun, big scale musical. And they actually built the big sets rather than used CGI. Of course there’s CGI effects in the mix but apparently it took two months to build the university set alone. All the flowers and plants are real I learnt afterwards. I’d assumed they were CGI but they had a horticulturist and an arborist listed in the credits.
They had a tulip farm come and plant acres of bulbs for one scene.
All together it adds a sense of reality to what’s clearly a fantasy setting.

Nothing planned today other than to leisurely pack and get myself to the airport hotel for my overnight.

Did double check the car hire and I’m glad I did as I’d booked it for the wrong days! So that’s been changed now.

And an email informing me that Great Gatsby (the musical currently on Broadway and opening in London next year) was live for priority ticket sales arrived. Went to the website, picked seats and then thought I’d just check something and I’d already booked!

Hope everyone, their parents, spouses, children, cats, dogs, horses, house hunting, jobs, cars, motorbikes, goldfish etc are all ok today and that it’s a peaceful day for you all.

Morning all. 4.7 and a unicorn day yesterday. Kitchen cupboards all cleaned out and tidied so today i'm giving the doors a good scrub down. It sounds like they're filthy but they're not!! Just dust gets into the wood grain and the cupboards being white, it shows up and can't just be wiped off. Oh i've got an exciting day today 😉 .

@eggyg we decided to do a Secret Santa this year for me, hubby, the girls and son in law. With me not working, younger daughter has her own house but is on her own paying the mortgage, older daughter being made redundant a few weeks ago (although she has got a new job now), it made sense to cut the cost down a bit. All of our birthdays are between end of November and beginning of January as well so its a costly time. We set a budget with wishlists and i've got both daughters and son in law a "goody bag" each with small treats. Congrats on the HS.

Have a good day everyone.

@eggyg have you read this?

Morning everyone, the sun is shining and there’s barely a breeze so I’m off for a bike ride shortly but I have to see the physio first - a bit of neck pain to sort out. Oh and it’s a 5.7 for me today.

Have a good day everyone.
