Group 7-day waking average?

@Martin.A squirrels do not hibernate here in the uk. We seem to have acquired 4 of them. All very hungry today!

Didn't know that. Thought maybe they were confused because our seasons don't seem to be as clearly defined as they were in days gone by. We've had no snow worthy of the name in years down here, for example.

But eating isn't what it should be.

Hopefully coming here will give me a sense of accountability.

Blood glucose was 12.1 this morning after being around 10 for ages.

Apparently just writing it down in a spreadsheet doesn't magically make it trend downwards!

I love the 3 Yorkshire Peaks. Although when I completed it, the temperature was 27 degrees! I don't know anything about Rybelsus though :confused:
 
At my dental appointment today the dentist had a new bit of kit. It was a camera which scanned all round your teeth and created a 3D picture of all your teeth showing every imperfection and alignment of all the teeth. It can be used instead of having to take impressions for crowns or dentures.
It was very odd seeing your gnashers staring at you from a screen.

I went for a walk yesterday afternoon and the pain in my hip was overwhelming, I could barely get round our set walk. I think it is bursitis/ tendonitis and not the hip joint itself. I have decided to rest up for a few days to give it a chance to recover. Sigh.

Today, sort out some songs if I feel able to get up the stairs to my keyboard, rest, rest, rest.

WE have a Sainsburys delivery today (I hope) and a separate squirrel food (nuts) delivery too from Arc Wildlife.

Morning a 7.8 after a bit of DP and very cold and crispy so lovely.
Once up and about I am fine and in Cheshire countryside with lunch with one of my colleagues who has come from near Chatsworth so they will have had worse snow than us.

Joining @Gwynn on the HS step, pleased to get a 5.2. I have a blood test today and picking up my new glasses, well I say new, same frames as before just new lenses.

Frosty this morning and yesterday’s heavy snow shower lasted about 1/2 before raining for the rest of the day.
 
8.6 this morning.

Feeling decidedly unwell. Freezing cold. Achy etc. Apple Watch vitals overnight are way out of norm. +3 degrees on baseline temperature, heart rate above a typical daytime resting number let alone an overnight one and way faster breathing as well.

Clearly no gym for me today. Have theatre ticket for this evening and that’s probably going to be a casualty of whatever this lurgy is.

Good morning 5.7 on the Libre -2.5 on my outside weather thingmebob. Hard frost on the car.

I was glad when the funeral was over, churches are so cold aren’t they?My friend seemed composed but very frail looking, haven’t seen her since May as she hasn’t been able to join us for our get togethers because her husband was ill. We had a hug and a chat and a promise of a visit when the dust settles.
Mr Eggy survived five hours with a nine month old, just, he was glad when I was back as he hadn’t even had a cup of tea. He doesn’t do multi tasking! :rofl:

Meeting a friend for tea and a scone at 11am. Another recently widowed friend. I can’t say I’m looking forward to going out in this weather, but she’s quite lonely so don’t want to let her down. Like my friend who’s husband’s funeral I was at yesterday, she has one daughter and no grandchildren. I know I complain about always babysitting/ feeding the hordes but you know I don’t mean it really, I don’t think I’d ever have time to be lonely. I might offer them up for hire! 😉

My late father in laws estate has taken nearly 4 years since he passed, if my husband had given up he would not have received a penny whilst his estranged sister would have taken everything including grandchildren and great grandchildren’s share. My OH waited ten years and it cost us a significant percentage of his inheritance on solicitors’ fees to get his sister to pull her finger out and finish the paperwork. She’d already - sneakily - moved into their deceased parents’ house, so there was no real incentive for her to give him his share. I have no nice words for her and, ironically, she calls herself a “Christian”! Those aren’t the Christian values I learned at school. Grrrrr!

Morning all. 6.8 here. Dreadful traffic jam last night going into work - expecting the same this morning. Must dash!

Wow, 10 years, he must have given up hope, we are hoping his will be fully sorted by the end of next year, although we have been saying that since 2022, his sister also lives in the late father in laws house, despite having her own lovely house, solicitor offered her the chance to buy out hubby’s share. Hubby is currently waiting for some more court paperwork from the last hearing in September so we are hopeful of getting the property up for sale early next year.
 
A 5.7 for me this morning. A light dusting of snow on the cars overnight and -2°C. 😱

Good morning!

9.7 today.

This was after a 5k run which I'm not entirely sure was a good idea as I'm currently obese.

It was jolly to chat with the other runners, however.

The blood glucose reading wasn't jolly, this morning.

The big problem is that I'm not used to going to bed without sabotaging myself through my eating.

I can't really imagine myself not sabotaging myself, either.

This is the trouble with having heavily engrained behaviours and leading quite a solitary existence on my own in my house.

Good morning ‘twas a Len today and no snow here today, in-fact Alexa just told me to expect sun and a high of 4degrees (so definitely big coat weather)

Im obviously still off work but looking forward to “excuse the pun” seeing the eye surgeon tomorrow, and see if he’s in agreement with the Dr I saw in eye casualty yesterday
most importantly hopefully finding out when I can have the necessary procedure to remove the implant / get a new cataract in my right eye
was told yesterday this will be done as an emergency, but not something they can do at NGH
so will not be on standard surgery waiting list, which is a kind of relief
plus the John Radcliffe is as good a place as any to sort this out I think 😉

what has happened I'm sure they said is the steroid implant has for whatever reason made its way onto the lens of my eye, (implant I had put into that eye on 30/09)
this implant should’ve slowly dissolved over the next 6 months into the problem area of my eye, but it’s obviously got other ideas

this morning I’m kind of thinking my vision in that eye is possibly slightly better today, compared to what it’s been over last few days, but actually I think it’s not it’s just my brain kind of getting used to what I
can best describe as, in one eye seeing pretty good but in the other looking through not the lens of my glasses but trying to see through grease proof paper

appreciate I’m not the first person to find out they have eye problems or need surgery but it is still a bit of a shock for this to come on so suddenly
