Morning all. 🙂 5.5 here.

Hot diggidy, it’s hot out there already. The curtains and blinds are all staying closed today!

It’s the Welsh tutors’ end of year bash later. Hubby’s keen to come along too - he’s a fluent Welsh-speaker, born and bred, so I’m sure it’ll be fine. I’m hoping someone’ll convince him to get involved with the voluntary Cynllun Siarad / chat-to-a-learner scheme. We’ll see...

As the Sun once wrote, "Phew what a scorcher, and the Met men say there is more on the way"
6.7 this morning.

@ColinUK , being a ballet, I don't suppose they had the immortal line "You killed my scooter"

@eggyg My wife feels the same about BBQs
A BBQ is definitely a man thing.

3.8 for me and unfortunately horrid, stressful, very vivid dreams again which caused a lot more heart thumping than being hypo ever does! Over it now though.

@eggyg Hoping for the best outcome possible for your granddaughter today at the hospital, whatever that may be. It must be a terrible worry.

Good morning 7.7 today had to FP today as dislodged my sensor yesterday evening, decided I’m definitely working from home this morning (some personal and business admin issues to sort out) this afternoon Mrs @goodybags has some routine medical appointments - so can can accompany her this afternoon.

so I took a small amount of insulin yesterday morning & evening, following noticing my TIR has gone from 95% down to 75% some days was spending most the day between 10-12 (according to CGM) my thought initially I was ok not taking any insulin since GP encouraged that the back end of May
however I’m more in agreement with the Consultant at the hospital who thought for me a small amount is needed plus I am after all eating more now having improved my MH and being back at work

I’ve said it before I’m SO GLAD I found and use this forum… I recommend it to another Diabetic I didn’t know until I met her yesterday, she spotted my Libra and didn’t understand it, really know much about CGM, she was telling me she has been waiting for over a year for medical reviews and to be seen by DC regarding being prescribed Mounjaro at the recommendation of her DSN currently she takes Oral meds and the same insulin

I haven’t caught up on last few days posts, that I shall do this afternoon (whilst waiting for Mrs G)

Have a fantastic Friday Forum Friends
TC & Stay in the Shade when you can 😎

PS: sensor drop off already reported

Good morning folks. 6.3 this morning which is a good start to the day, followed by a couple of toasted cheddar and marmite sourdough crumpets. A breakfast treat I don't have very often.
A little bit of gardening while it's cooler then off to Tai Chi class later. Thank goodness there are fans in the hall.

Not much planned today, supposed to reach 31 degC this afternoon.
Hope your granddaughter's appointment goes well @eggyg
Glad to hear that you are enjoying the new job @goodybags

Everyone take care and enjoy the start to the weekend

Morning everyone in this beautiful day
6.1 today, happy with that
Mrs Homer is seventy today, away out later on celebrating with the daughter and grandkids.
We are heading up to the Grassmarket area for lunch, cocktails and will have a rooftop bar overlooking Edinburgh Castle, I’m just glad it’s going to be a warm day up here.
Have a nice day everyone
Keep cool !!!!!!

Happy birthday to Mrs Homer. Sounds like a wonderful day of celebrations planned for her.

Morning all, 6.1 for me today.
A few hours at school and then we finish at lunchtime. It's been very cheery so far with students popping in to say farewell for the summer.
Later today husband and I will be checking out a nursery near to the school. Apparently you have to get on these things early these days!

Have a good day all and be safe in the sun!

5.8 this morning after a poor night's sleep, not helped by noisy pigeons in the tree in our front garden (dawn chorus they ain't) and finding ourselves on the Heathrow flightpath from just after 5am. Gave up trying to go back to sleep and got up at half six. Very warm here already and not surprised, as we are slap bang in the deep red zone on the BBC's Heatwave Map:-

My wife has the day off and she and a friend are having a day out in Salisbury. Youngest is off to golf shortly but I'm not Billy No Mates as our eldest is WFH.

Started on the summer house roof yesterday and have removed all the clout nails, so the felt should come off quite easily - after all, it's not stuck down. Apart from that it's the usual Friday grocery shop and then the men's SFs from Wimbledon.

Pleased to see that you're back home @PattiEvans

Hope everyone has a good day.

A 5.6 for me to start the day, and an early dog walk done before the pavements get to egg-frying temperatures.
