Oops! Little Miss Sleepyhead & Completely Absentminded has no idea what my waking BS is this morning or what it did during the night! o_O I just woke just now to scan & it says my sensor ended over an hour: completely passed me by that my sensor was ending & I just slept past it & didn’t scan all night so, no graph at all after I went to bed 02:55 BS 9.6 the last time I scanned just after active NR for dinner of ham & mustard sandwiches!

A Very Good Morning to you all & have a Wonderful Day! 😉

Will get vertical now, posting while still horizontal, & put on a new sensor. It’s coming up to 9am anyway, & need to wait for the chemist delivery!

I COULD kick myself but, my new, this past week, getting there old “Sunny on the inside” feeling I’m not & I’m “Easy”! A Whistling Nonchalantly emoji! 😉

6.7 for me had a bad night with voices in my head dont feel right somehow
hope ypu are all well and happy

OK so this is a complete cheat, my Simplera trace suggests that when I woke several hours earlier, it was more like 5.5, but this is just to celebrate that the first BG I saw of the day was this. I’d been up for ages, pottering about and getting my day started, and actually hadn’t thought to check BG until breakfast dose time.

Checking BG immediately on waking has been a thing for me for years and years, but HCL is gradually loosening the vice-like grip of diabetes on my attention.

Still the wrong side of the border with a 6.1 this morning, which started damp and grey but is now bright and sunny.

Unexpectedly home alone again as our youngest, who's normally here on Thursdays, has been given an extra shift at Tesco. The store suffered a power blackout on Tuesday and had to close after contractors working nearby cut through a cable. They were able to open yesterday but I expect there's still things to do, which is why he's needed. Others too, I expect.

Usual swim later. With it being half-term the Leisure Centre was really busy (and noisy) when I went on Tuesday, although not the main pool as it was set up for lane swimming, and I expect it'll be the same today. Looking forward to the tennis from Roland Garros later, with 5 Brits in action, and then tonight it's the Premier League Darts Final at the O2. A day in front of the TV then.

Congrats @MeeTooTeeTo and @everydayupsanddowns on your HSs this morning.

Enjoy the day.

Morning

4.8 today, will go and see mum, but not nice enough to sit her communal garden which is usually a sun trap. I am not unwell but not just feeling quite right at the moment, maybe it is my MH or maybe I have just become lazy but I have loads to do, but I just can’t be bothered.

@MeeTooTeeTo and @everydayupsanddowns congratulations on your HS today.

Over an hour after waking 09:48 BS 8.6 so, it COULD have been in the 7’s with an hour of DP sitting up in bed! Can eat breakfast now as I wanted to know BS before bolusing!

Just had my pills, I like to take them when I wake in the hayfever season as I need the allergy pills, & realised Little Miss Forgetful forgot to take her pills yesterday! Oh dear! 😳 No wonder my heading was pounding a bit towards the end of yesterday: BP a bit higher from forgotten pill; it’s in now & BP should stop pounding in my ears where I can hear it! 🙄

Good morning. Very wet and windy at 5.45am when the cat woke me for breakfast. Fed her and went straight back to bed. Woke up properly at 9am. Joining @Robin on the 7.6 step this morning. The sun has come out and it's still windy so put the towels on to wash.
Still coughing and sneezing but starting to feel better.

Congratulations on the HS @MeeTooTeeTo and @everydayupsanddowns

Love the photos @eggyg and I hope your appointment with the pannini press is not too uncomfortable

Sending hugs to those of you not feeling great today. Take care everyone and have a good day whatever the weather.

Good morning I'm joining @Lisa65 on the 8.1 step today
I was expecting something higher than waking with a respectable BS having had Chilli and white rice yesterday evening which then gave me a craving and ended up having a snack before bed (a unhealthy one to)

Congrats on your HS’s to @MeeTooTeeTo & @everydayupsanddowns

Tomorrow will be my last day in my current job, I’ve still a few decisions to make, but after just over 7 years with my current employer I’m glad I’m moving on,I’ve several items to pack up ready for collection in the morning by their courier

Have a Terrific Thursday 🙂

thought had posted here yesterday anyway 5.8 yesterday and 5.2 today just off to find a weed killer that will kill bind weed its driving us nuts trying to keep it under control have a good day everyone

congratulations @MeeTooTee, @everydayupsanddowns on your HS
The best thing is a systemic glyphosate as you can apply to the leaves and it tracks down and kills the roots.
We had it entwined round our raspberries and found a gel glyphosate which you could paint very specifically on the growing tips.
When you clear a piece of ground you find all the big fat white roots creeping underground. Put in the bin not the compost.
It may take several applications as bit shoot up from all those underground roots given a chance.
That and mares tail is a real pain to eradicate.

Morning all, 7.6, Dawn is still in residence.
Went to Grape Tree yesterday to replenish jelly baby supplies, and was delighted to find a packet with loads of red ones and hardly any green and they’re not just hiding under the label, I turned the bag over to check, because I wouldn’t put it past them to be devious like that. (aficionados of the odious green ones can look away now, @eggy, I’m thinking of you).

I go in Grape Tree for all my spices, couscous etc, I never knew they sold JBs. I’m going to look next time and maybe they will have a bag full of green ones that they forgot to put in yours!

Do you pay the policy by direct debit? If so the number may be included in the payment reference, which you can find out from the bank or on line uf you do Internet banking.

I know it is a problem but as long as you just get the weed killer on the tips of the bind weed hopefully it will be OK but no guarantees.
