Group 7-day waking average?

We’ve tried Lidl’s Greek yogurt (it was grainy!) but not Aldi’s @eggyg...I’ll give it a go! As for the nappy, pants, braces combo...interesting look!!
Did you try the Authentic Greek natural yoghurt from Lidl or the creamy Milbona Greek style natural yoghurt which is made with British milk. I have had both and I prefer the cheaper Greek style one that comes in the 1kg tub. I have had the equivalent Aldi one too and I like that also. Was surprised to find that the Authentic Greek one separated a bit after you opened it and you get a clear, pale yellowish liquid in the bottom whereas the Greek style one doesn't. Can't say I found either grainy.
I prefer to support British farming and also less air miles plus we get more rain that Greece, so it has to be more environmentally friendly to choose locally produced milk products over imported.

Morning and a 5.7 after a night in 4s and 5s which is good for bringing my average BGs back down again.
Our dog is going further and further on his bad leg and of course they just get on with it unlike humans who sometimes don’t push themselves in such situations out of fear of the unknown.
Spent some time in garden as such a nice day and in morning walked down to Farmers Market and Waitrose and that really gets my routine control off to a great start,Then had a lazy day watching Netflix and cuddling our dogs.
Second round of Pizza and Soup and a Sandwich at the free cafe as my wife calls it.
Bought a couple of large pies at Market so will have one of those later but in the meantime wish you all a great rest of w/ end and even better week in run up to Easter.

An early Sunday morning 5.4 for me. 🙂

Morning all a moderately pottering 6.2 for me. Have been having all sort of BG upheaval in the daytimes and evenings recently, but it looks like Deep Thought has caught up with the changes. Maybe.

Nice to hear your doggy’s leg is recovering @Wendal

Morning all. Snap @everydayupsanddowns 6.2.

Better night’s sleep although I woke at 4.30, but went to loo and slept until 6.15, which is quite normal for me. Did try to lie in but we were both awake by now, and Mr Eggy made the fatal mistake of saying he felt refreshed, so I’ve made him get up with me at 7am! He’ll thank me in the long run when he gets lots done! 😛

It was supposed to rain during the night but it’s not looking like it did, and the forecast was for rain today but that has now changed to sunny intervals. We need to get the big guns out….ie the hosepipe! So much for April showers. The garden is so dry and our veggies and herbs will suffer soon. It’s a milder morning, first one without a ground frost for weeks now. Today’s plan includes, full English, chill on kitchen sofa watching the birds, Wordle, a shower, walk to Tesco to upgrade my phone before I get my new Apple Watch for my birthday, and a 60th birthday card and a bottle of fizz, only realised yesterday it’s my sister-in-law’s 60th birthday this week and I’d only bought an ordinary card for her and I hadn’t bought a present as we only buy for 0 birthdays. It’ll get us out for a walk, it’s about a 6 mile round trip and not pretty, but it’ll get us some steps in, at least there aren’t any hills!

Have a splendid Sunday.

Morning

5.5 I am happy with that as I ate a lot of carbs yesterday. Today going for a walk and coffee with a friend, then spending the afternoon cleaning at FIL’s house ready to put it up for sale, we know it needs a lot of work, as in new kitchen, bathroom, full redecoration etc, but I still don’t want it to be dirty when people view.

@gail2 congratulations on your HS today, pleased to hear you enjoyed your trip out yesterday.

Morning all. 🙂 8.1...less said about that, the better!

No rain? @eggyg and @Robin. Hopefully, you’ll get some of ours today as it moves eastwards. The sun’s shining atm, but scattered showers are forecast - for the whole of next week, apparently. The hordes of holiday makers’ll be sporting bikinis and pacamacs...nice.

A question for tech-types and @eggyg - do Smartwatches have a payment / data plan (like a mobile phone) or dyou just buy them and wear them? I’m keen to get my BG on my wrist, so that I can go swimming, etc without worrying about what my pesky BG is up to!

Congrats on the anniversaries yesterday @Grannylorraine and @Pam123

Hope you had wonderful days the pair of you!

And congrats to all the HS’s as well!

I scored a 6.6 this morning.

Killing time before heading to the charity shop with a bag full of clothes that are now too big, then the Apple Store to switch my new iPad for one with more memory. Then it’s gym time before Sadler’s Wells later for a program of work by Forsyth.

And I’ve an upset stomach :(

Hmmm….not 100% certain. I’ll ask today for you when I got to the phone shop. My daughters are buying me the Apple Watch for my birthday, so I’m upgrading my iPhone to a better one, I’m due an upgrade very soon anyways. I also need to make sure it’s compatible to the Libre 2+ which I haven’t got yet but soon will. It’s all gobbledegook to me. I’m relying on the folks in Tesco to get me through it. I hate getting new tech. 🙄

Well that’s not at all good. 15 this morning! I went to bed at 10pm at 9, but that’s usually OK because my blood sugar reduces overnight. Why so high? Perhaps I forgot my metformin last night? Probably. I just can’t remember. I take so many medicines that doing so is sort of automatic. Until it isn’t! Oops.

Grey day here.

Nick

@Bloden @eggyg I’m an Apple Watch wearer. You can get it with a cellular plan which means you can take and make calls from the watch and pretend you’re Dick Tracey or Batman but most people in the UK go for a version without a cell connection I think.

The watch needs an iPhone to pair with and through that it can do and monitor everything.

If you do opt for a cellular connected one then it needs to be with the same provider who has your iPhone account. Not many companies in the UK offer the watch SIM card either.

I’m on my second Apple Watch and will likely upgrade it in the next two years but I’d not consider a cellular connected version as without still does text, notifications, Apple Pay, Google maps etc plus fitness and health stuff perfectly well.

Morning all. A very happy 5.2 for me today, that’s been a while coming I seem to be mostly in the high 4’s these days.

Have a great day everyone and stay well.

07:03 BS 3.8 with a headache! A giant marshmallow in bed & loads of water after as it tasted incredibly sweet to me! Made breakfast 08:16 BS 5.8 of 3, no crusts, cheese & ham toasties with a cuppa tea: Kingsmill No Crusts is exactly half the amount of normal bread with crusts & I normally have 1.5 sandwiches with crusts & 3 with no crusts; you get 9 sandwiches, without the heels in the crusts & of course no heels with no crusts, in both loaves of 400g & 800g & the carbs for is more-or-less, half too as I’ve checked before when keeping a food diary for the dietician about 9/10 years ago. Wow! It’s been that kong when I was referred back to the hospital team after I went off the rails following my mum’s death in the winter of 2015/2016! Feb. 2016 when my health centre DSN referred me back to the hospital as she couldn’t make sense of my BS readings, that seemed reasonable, compared to my rising A1c! I had to take even more FT tests under the hospital team & keep food diary!

A Very Good Morning to you all & have a Wonderful Day! 😉

And now just finished breakfast & a very quick rise 08:54 BS 15.1 as is par for the course for bread at breakfast: ok maybe just a tad bit more than usual but, there was marshmallow earlier & BS always rises a lot after a hypo; probably the hypo treatments!

I only ate carbs for dinner yesterday before bed, these days I eat & go to bed straight after, with a ready meal carbonara tagliatelle & gave it 48NR which was ok for most of the night but, just dipped into the red about 90 minutes before I woke so, I gave it just a tad bit too much. But, almost got it right! It makes a change from waking so high these days! 🙄o_O

6.6 for me today and a slack washing line graph that didn't touch the red so very happy with that, especially after a shared portion of fish and chips last night at 9pm after we finished exercising horses.
Going over to my sister's today to trim her horse's feet. She has a really bad chest infection and spent over 3 hours in A&E yesterday despite a 7 day course of anti bs and steroids with no improvement. She is normally fit and healthy so it has been quite worrying. Anyway, her friends at the livery yard are looking after her GGs for her but Skwerty needs his feet trimmed regularly and Jack's might need a bit of work too. She helps me trim my 4, so it is the least I can do to repay the favour. Then it is home to help Ian drive his horses and then feed and tidy up at my yard before bed.... and I might fit some food in somewhere..... not sure what or when but at least I have had breakfast.
