04:53 BS 11.4 Could do better but, still not QUITE getting it right! Yesterday’s breakfast was the worst with the highest BS but, got lunch more or less in range, MY usual range that is, & not quite good enough for dinner before bed!
🙄
A Very Good Morning to you all & have a Wonderful Day!
😉
Weighed myself this morning, have done every day since the asthma review, & I’m losing weight very slowly with teeny wobbles each day as I lose a bit, gain a bit back & lose a bit: overall I’m down 92.something I can’t remember what nurse said at the time, to 91.25 yesterday; this morning, to be honest & there’s no point in lying to myself, 91.45! I’ll try & weigh myself only once a week now & all those little daily wobbles should even out & as long as I lose a bit, no matter how teeny, every week I’ll be happy!
🙄
Also, back on the statins this morning as it was 2 weeks & 3 days ago I stopped them on a Wednesday so, restart, & finish off that week’s packet, on a Thursday, today! There will now be a surplus of 2 weeks of statins as I order, & normally take, them together with my BP meds.
There’s still some Benecol yoghurt drinks & full fat Greek yoghurt left & I’ll continue to finish them off: the drinks at one a day & there’s 4 left; the Greek yoghurt one every 2 or 3 days of which there are 3 left. I’ve been spreading less Benecol light spread: just because it’s light doesn’t mean I can spread more of it & defeating the purpose of it being light; having gotten used to the great taste of real butter of which you only need a small amount of for a great taste, everything other spread just lacks flavour! But, there’s a whole tub of left & I might as well finish it! Oh by the way, the best tasting butter around these parts is & has always been “Kerrygold”, that’s more expensive than the other local brands around here, made in Eire. It’s very yellow because the cows are fed on a diet of 90% grass which, is unusually high! So, if you come across that brand: try it; it has SO much flavour!
😛 In fact I think Irish butter, be in here in NI or down south in Eire, is characteristically more yellow than brands I’ve tried available over the water in GB: I was shocked to see how white “Lurpak” & “Anchor” is!
