Group 7-day waking average?

Just had a look at my overnight graph, now my eyes are fully open. What did I do at 3 am? I don’t remember going downstairs and raiding the fridge, and I previously ate at 6pm, some 9 hours previously, not even pizza could go on giving that long, surely?. 😱 Any theories?

That’ll be it!😉
We bought our first house when we got married from a divorcing couple..never again! It was a nightmare, neither side would agree to exchange until they’d agreed how to split the proceeds, and they couldn’t agree! When we went round just before completion, they’d got little stickers on everything, with their respective initials on, so they knew who was getting what, but such was their determination not to leave anything for the other party, they stripped the house bare, including all the light fittings (without putting a plain fitting and bulb in their place, loo roll holders, curtain poles etc, which were technically included in the sale, but we were so relieved to get in, and suing them would have ended up with them pointing the finger at each other, we decided just to move on and replace them.

Morning, 6.0 for me.
Really not happy with these morning levels (in pregnancy) so going to eat much earlier tonight to see if it helps.
On the plus side last night was the first evening in days where my BG wasn't stuck at 10 for 5 hours!

I had a nightmare that my BG was 23.5 and woke up in a panic during the night. I am absolutely obsessed with my levels at the moment!!

Today I am meeting an old friend for a coffee. I know her from when I worked in public libraries and haven't seen her properly for about a year so really looking forward to catching up.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning everyone. A 4.6 earlier today and the sun is not shining for the first time in a while, only light grey skies - what’s going on!!

Have a good day everyone and stay well.

Sun's only just broken through this morning, as it was grey and overcast when I got up just after 7. Really cold, too. No doubt things will get better as the day wears on. Hope so as I'm planning to paint our summer house.

Wednesday! My favourite day of the week, as everyone's gone to work and I'm home alone with a day to myself. It's also the day when everyone cooks their own dinner.

I began the year by deciding to increase my swims from 20 lengths to 30, to drop Weetabix in favour of a handful of crushed walnuts on my berries and Greek yogurt, and to stop buying cereal bars for snacking. So far I've managed to keep all three of those New Year's resolutions and my BG is averaging mid-5s now rather than the high 5s I'm used to. My annual review is next month so I'm hoping the changes will be reflected in my next HbA1c, as long as I don't regress. Fingers crossed.

Congrats @MeeTooTeeTo on your HS this morning. I could only manage a 5.5, but as already said, happy to be cruising in the mid-5s

Whatever your plans, have a good day.

They were both at the viewing. The house was advertised just on a local selling site not through an agent. It’s only 18 months old, five bed detached but was cheaper than equivalent age/type four bedroom properties. So daughter guessed they were maybe splitting up. Daughter spoke to her solicitor and the wife of the estranged couple today, he’s moving into an empty property, he’s all packed up so looks like it’s a solicitor problem not his. They’re working on a solution!

6.4 earlier on a chilly morning. It's warning up as I returned from the vampires. I went on my tod, which is very rare. I'm finding full-caffine coffee first thing, detrimental to my MH. This showed as I waited to go in to the nurse. But a little win for me.

Another lovely warm day here.

Congratulations @MeeTooTeeTo this morning's HS.

4.2 for me today and a lovely straight line with no red on my graph so very happy with that.

4.4 for me this morning, I was due to see my Optician this morning for a 3 month check to see how my eyes are doing using the sleep Mask as ive not had any other treatment for my DMO,only to find he is on holiday until the 23rd April and they didn't check to let the people who booked in with him.

He is the owner and only works 2 days a week, they offered me another Opticians but I re booked for the 23rd, I know the sleep mask is doing its job as my vision has and still is improving. I am in my 9th week of using it.

Hello everyone and a very glorious day it is again. It's forecast to last up to and including Saturday. So we shall be taking our little trip to Exeter in the rain!

6.11 this morning to my surprise. I did not have a peaceful night. Woke at 2:20 for the loo, then at 3:15 and 3:45 with the runs.

Though I have been keeping up reading posts I haven't had the energy to post for the last few days as I have had a nasty bowel problem which has been both acutely painful and also embarrassing. Last nights excursions were mainly due to the nurse at the surgery completely misunderstanding the problem and prescribing some powders which I shall not be taking again! Over the last days I have done no more than venture into the garden with my book.

Congratulations to @MeeTooTeeTo on your HS.

Have a good day, what's left of it folks!

@eggyg, sorry to hear of your daughter's problems with moving. Despite moving 5 times since my first purchase I do not think there has been one move not complicated by the buyers, the moving company or mostly the solicitors. The English system is iniquitous! Hope it all work out for her.

@eggyg and @Robin, reading your posts it seems to me as an observer that in the light of the warmer weather it may be time to tweak your overnight basals? Perhaps do basal tests by ensuring your boluses are out of your systems by bedtime????

That’s usually not a problem, at home we eat at 6pm, so it’s all done by bedtime, but I was eating later last week because of being on hol, plus I was doing unpredictable amounts of exercise..a 7 mile walk one day, sitting on a coach and having a few short strolls the next.(plus I forgot to take my evening basal altogether one night!) Hopefully now I’m home I’ll get back on a more even keel. I was just amused by the unexpected upwards kink at 3am last night, I’ve never had that before!

Anyone heard from @ColinUK? He hasn't been on here since Sunday. I know he was having some difficulty getting logged in. Let's hope that's all it is and he is Ok.

I wondered if it was a compression low and it is the rebound from it which is causing the rise at 3am and then the slight drop back down which often happens after a compression low and then it more or less levels out before DP starts to raise it.

I wondered that, I suspected a Libre quirk, there was certainly nothing in my system that should have caused a bounce like that! Normally my graph is plain washing line shaped!

I hope that you are feeling a bit better now. Have you been prescribed something that will ease the pain and discomfort?
Take care of yourself so you are fit and ready for your trip to Exeter.:care:

04:53 BS 11.4 Could do better but, still not QUITE getting it right! Yesterday’s breakfast was the worst with the highest BS but, got lunch more or less in range, MY usual range that is, & not quite good enough for dinner before bed! 🙄

A Very Good Morning to you all & have a Wonderful Day! 😉

Weighed myself this morning, have done every day since the asthma review, & I’m losing weight very slowly with teeny wobbles each day as I lose a bit, gain a bit back & lose a bit: overall I’m down 92.something I can’t remember what nurse said at the time, to 91.25 yesterday; this morning, to be honest & there’s no point in lying to myself, 91.45! I’ll try & weigh myself only once a week now & all those little daily wobbles should even out & as long as I lose a bit, no matter how teeny, every week I’ll be happy! 🙄:Do_O

Also, back on the statins this morning as it was 2 weeks & 3 days ago I stopped them on a Wednesday so, restart, & finish off that week’s packet, on a Thursday, today! There will now be a surplus of 2 weeks of statins as I order, & normally take, them together with my BP meds.

There’s still some Benecol yoghurt drinks & full fat Greek yoghurt left & I’ll continue to finish them off: the drinks at one a day & there’s 4 left; the Greek yoghurt one every 2 or 3 days of which there are 3 left. I’ve been spreading less Benecol light spread: just because it’s light doesn’t mean I can spread more of it & defeating the purpose of it being light; having gotten used to the great taste of real butter of which you only need a small amount of for a great taste, everything other spread just lacks flavour! But, there’s a whole tub of left & I might as well finish it! Oh by the way, the best tasting butter around these parts is & has always been “Kerrygold”, that’s more expensive than the other local brands around here, made in Eire. It’s very yellow because the cows are fed on a diet of 90% grass which, is unusually high! So, if you come across that brand: try it; it has SO much flavour! 😛 In fact I think Irish butter, be in here in NI or down south in Eire, is characteristically more yellow than brands I’ve tried available over the water in GB: I was shocked to see how white “Lurpak” & “Anchor” is! 😱
