Group 7-day waking average?

4.4 this morning put a new sensor on yesterday, the old one fell of but I don't activate the new one until tomorrow, I always give it 2 days to settle down so checked finger prick before bed and it was 4.1 so had a couple of JBs, I felt dizzy when I woke and wobbly eyes etc so suspect ive been low all night. hubby is busy re painting the fencing in the back garden before he starts building the new shed, taking advantage of the lovely weather.

7.4 for myself today. I am a little late for writing today, but I've enjoyed myself with J as we had a guest calling this morning, D whom we hadn't seen since his move into the city 5 or 6 years ago. His new mobility scooter can run for 35 miles on one charge, so we're well in range at 5 miles away. He was well as his Parkinson's wasn't too bad of late. We all talked outside as the weather had warmed up even though we all sat in the shade.

I had my meeting with K later at lunchtime and managed a walk after guitar tuition, playing Living Next Door to Alice (possibly Alan) - with only three chords which were easy to remember the order of play.

After lunch we went over to see the MiL's to see how far the new kitchen was going, it's taken a fortnight and the painter was putting on the final touches to the decor.

I had to rush away, back and so missed my tea with my OH - she went to Bar Ba's for a bite, before going off for a church service, while I went home, not feeling my best - runaway hypo. I felt better after three-quarters of an hour after a mini sausage roll and a hot cross-buttered bun.

@Pam123 if you haven’t already, don’t forget to report the drop off
to get a free replacement sent out
even if it was a day or two before it should finish

A very early good morning. Been awake since 4.30! Libre read 4.3 at 5.11am, thought it was a compression low, got up 5.30 and it was 4.9. Checked on finger prick 4.6! I’ve gone from the sublime to the ridiculous. Skimmed along the bottom line since 3am. Went back to 1:10 ratio for tea, went to bed on 8 something at 11.15pm. At least I won’t have to wait 1.5 hours for breakfast like I have to do some mornings!

Sub zero temperature again, think it’ll be a lovely sunrise. Yesterday was yet another glorious day, in the garden with Eden quite a lot, all was well with the world ( apart from losing 15% from our pension pot), then daughter messaged. There’s been a right royal **** up from their sellers’ solicitors. Apparently the couple who they are buying from are separated and wife has moved out and hubby still there, they don’t speak for legal reasons () and her solicitor had failed to mention the completion date to him until yesterday and they’re now saying it could be another two weeks! Daughter’s solicitors hadn’t been informed of this, he’s buying a house too, so yet another link in the chain. It’s so annoying and frustrating, everything is almost packed, they’re sleeping on a mattress on the floor, she’s run down her fridge/freezer, packed almost all the clothes away, dining table is dismantled etc etc. Everyone’s taken time off work, including their friend who is helping them to move as he has a van. I’m sure @TinaD will understand the upset and turmoil. Incompetence at its worst. And I know there’s wars and hunger in the world, and it really is a first world problem in the grand scheme of things, but it shouldn’t have happened. Daughter is hoping the hubby can break the chain and maybe move in with parents/friends, I suggested he could store some stuff in the double garage at his/their house. Let’s see what happens today.

British Gas engineer coming today to service the boiler, between 10-2, hopefully, they do incompetence now and again too!

Best go, down to 3.9, alarm will be going off soon. Have a grand day. Alarm just gone off! 😱

Morning and a 7.1 for me.
Happy Wednesday and sorry for all your challenges @eggyg
.They maybe first world problems but they are real and affect you very deeply and personally so hope they are sorted soon.
A very flat line for me hovering around the 7 level and a much more predictable evening meal last night with a moderate portion of chilli and rice.
Meeting a colleague for brunch and a natter at a Garden Centre in Derbyshire which we have not done for a few months.
We have known each other ages and we are good friends so will have a good catch up and a sausage butty.
When I first started in this industry it was very heavily male dominated but now it is completely the opposite with probably about 80-90% female.
Anyway will be a lovely day a nice drive,a nice meet up and then maybe a little work.
So whatever you are upto have a great day

@eggyg That all sounds very stressful for your daughter and her family. I hope one of the solutions proposed works out and gets them moving again.

5.7 yesterday (crazily busy day, and forgot to post). 5.3 today - which is surprisingly good going after a late tea and the reappearance of the dreaded insomnia (I think these things are almost certainly related!)

It's my last day in proper work for this week. They've changed the way we do training now so that instead of having days randomly scattered through the year, we have an allocated 3/4 days clustered together to complete our training. Mine are tomorrow, Friday and Monday. At least, Friday is a Teams day so I get to work from home.

In other good news, payroll finally sorted out my pay uplift. I'm paid on the National NHS pay scale and should have had an increment for 2 years in my current band, back in December. Of course, because I changed to a new Trust in October, the seamless transition was not, in fact, seamless even though the whole point of a national pay scheme is that it shouldn't matter if you change jobs - your increments etc should all carry over. My manager and I have been trying to sort this since November last year and they finally got it sorted so I should have a nice little extra bump on this month's pay as they'll backdate my increase to the date I should have had it.

Hope everyone has a lovely day.

Morning 6.5 today

Seems to have been a busy couple of days for me, as well as being back at work for almost a week, have sorted out a few things that needed chasing, really things I should’ve done whilst I was off but didn’t
Ive got next Hba1c now booked for next Monday and a Medication review next Wednesday
But Dentist first thing this morning, so rushing around this morning

a colleague phoned me yesterday he’s in a different part of the country, and was quite worried as he discovered yesterday he is-pre diabetic, I steered him straight to the fresh-well program

TC everybody

Morning all, 7.0 here. Builders are back, to do our ridge tiles They finished off the guttering while we were away. Have solved the mystery of why the passion flower covering our back wall is so rampant…it’s got its roots in the soakaway from the down pipe!

Just seeing the picture reminded me that I haven't changed the time on this. 🙄

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all. 🙂 6.3 for me.

A busy day today, a busy-ish Thursday and Friday...then I’m free for 2 weeks, woohoo!

Good grief! @eggyg - I’ve heard so many stories now where the solicitor doesn’t do their job (but still gets paid) and causes their clients stupid amounts of stress. Fingers crossed the seller is open to suggestions and the move goes ahead as planned.

Congrats @MeeTooTeeTo on the HS.

Morning all. 6.9 for me and a whole night in range. The new sensor activated last night seems pretty accurate atm, 5.6 vs
4.9 on the finger prick. Weekly shop to do today then i'm off down to my friend's house for our weekly craft meet up. I say craft meet up but the last few weeks, we've chatted until lunch, eaten, then had an hour or so crafting. We need to get cracking, both of us have projects piling up!

@eggyg i hope your daughter's sale is resolved quickly. Solicitors charge a lot of money so you would expect them to remember an important thing like a completion date.

Have a good day everyone. It looks like its going to be another lovely, sunny one. We need to make the most of it, its forecast rain here next werk.

Good morning all
8.0 f0r me That 100gms wallnuts and packet of vegetable crisps i had at 6am might have had something to do with it

Just had a look at my overnight graph, now my eyes are fully open. What did I do at 3 am? I don’t remember going downstairs and raiding the fridge, and I previously ate at 6pm, some 9 hours previously, not even pizza could go on giving that long, surely?. 😱 Any theories?

Another crisp frosty morning here but the sun is shining so looking forward to a nice day.
A 7.7 again for me. Enjoyed the cinema screening of Six yesterday. Nothing exciting planned today so back to gardening again.

Congrats on your HS @MeeTooTeeTo

I sympathise with your daughter @eggyg we had the same problem when we moved here. Completion delayed by over a fortnight. To cap it all he handed his keys over to the estate agents around 11am, but when we arrived an hour or so later his ex was still there packing her stuff. Place was an absolute tip. Not a happy bunny that day.
I hope that she has a better experience :thankyou:

Everyone have a happy hump day.😎
