Group 7-day waking average?

We say “Up at a sparrows fart”! We call them spoggies up here.
Talking of birds, I’ve had two brand new visitors to the garden this week, yellow hammers! I was so excited, I’ve only ever seen two in my whole life, one in the Scottish Highlands two years ago, and one in the Lake District last year. They’ve been here twice this week, both very early, and hang around for quite a while. I did get photos but I haven’t downloaded them yet, I’ll do it today and post tomorrow.
Look forward to photos. My wife is the one who feeds our birds and tells me what visitors we have had.
Tells me about talking to Mr Blackbird and the cheeky Robins and Jackdaws etc but the Trail Camera I bought her 2 years ago is still in the box.
Meant to ask you I once went for a walk by one of the Lakes and it was a really steep climb for first 15 minutes and I was shattered then got much easier.
Could it be Coniston or does somewhere else ring a bell.My other Lake walks tend to be fairly moderate climbs to start with or went high a bit further from Lake like Wasdale

Morning all, 6.9 here. Must run down and get the car out of the garage before the builders arrive and block me in. We are having new gutters, and various bits of remedial work on our roof tiles. If they can get on with it, mind. Yesterday the merchants only delivered half of the new guttering system, and kept promising them the rest of it, which never materialised.

Good morning lovelies! 4'4 today and my TIR is back to 90, so that's nice.

Since I've been listening to 'La Bilirubina' (that song that said inject me your love like insulin) YouTube started to suggest me old Spanish party bangers. Yesterday morning it gave me 'La mayonesa' and 'La bomba' and I was laughing in the way to work. The lyrics can get a bit ridiculous, but they bring back good memories! 🙂

I've worked more days in a row than usual (only two left to go, yay!) and some hotel guests start to look concerned and say things like "You again?? You don't get a lot of rest, do you? :(" Thanks for rubbing salt in the wound, ma'am. Less pity, more cash tips! :D😛

Morning all. 6.3 here. Well done, Omnipod 5!

I’m going to a music festival tonight. I only go out at night for work. Can’t wait! Gruff Rhys (pronounced Griff, Super Furry Animals) is the headliner, but I’ll have to wait til nearly my bedtime for him to come on. Must remember to leave my hearing aids at home. When I saw Nadine Shah (wow!) back in November I thought they’d explode - she was VERY loud. My mate was stuffing toilet roll in her ears LOL.

Must dash. Car’s going in for its MOT, then more admin and lesson planning.

Loved “La Flaca” @Elenka_HM.

Happy Friday!

Morning all. Touch of DP this morning had me waking to a blood sugar reading of 8.0. A little on the high side but nothing to get too excited about. Especially as I am sitting in glorious sunshine doing my morning puzzles.

Have a great day everyone.

A 5.7 for me today. 🙂

Morning

4.6 today, mum’s laser treatment went well yesterday, spoke to her this morning and she said vision is lovely in that eye, so now going to get her right one done. Car passed its MOT yesterday, hubby dealt with that for me. Todays plans are not a lot as we will be doing more clearing out at FIL’s house this weekend as hubby is off.

Had this all lined up and ready to include in my post this morning and forgot!

So here it is anyway as it made me laugh

Morning all. Well i didn't make it a trio, it was 4.9 this morning.

Yesterday was lovely, i sat out in the garden with my book, wearing a tee shirt and it was really warm! Today is cloudy and windy but i'll get the washing on the line to dry i hope. Today's plan is a clean/dust around the house and thats it, unless i get a phone call from the hospital (waiting for mum's doctor to ring me).

Have a great Friday everyone.

11.6 for me and all night above range despite 2 units of Levemir ie a 2 unit increase and 2 stacked corrections of Fiasp before bed when I at least managed to keep it below 10 but only just. Normally as soon as I sleep it drops and I genuinely thought I would be awoken by my low alarm at some point and need a JB, but no, it just continued to stay high and drift upwards a bit more. I didn't have anything to eat last night other than a couple of squares of 70% dark chocolate with a couple of spoons of peanut butter as I was late getting ready to go to the theatre (needed to be out of the house by 6.15pm) and then it was too late to eat when I got back and in fact my low alarm went off at 10.30pm as I walked along the lane home, but didn't have any JBs to treat it and yet it just slowly and steadily increased from the 4s up to 11 despite the insulin I injected. I have jabbed 12 units Fiasp this morning and it has levelled out at 5.3 so far, so just going to have breakfast now.

Good morning folks. Who stole the sun? It's overcast and windy although the temperature is the same as yesterday. Good day for hanging out the washing.
It's an 8.5 for me but hopefully I will work that off with Tai Chi and some vigorous gardening today. Lots of composted woodchip to move around the garden. Several wheelbarrow trips. Also we removed over a dozen dead Willows yesterday which need chopping up to go in the log store. My arms will be like noodles again.

Have a great Friday everyone :D

Could be any! I’ve not done Old Man of Coniston but Cat Bells starts like that. We did Latrigg a few weeks ago and that was a brutal start then easy. Both near Keswick. Ring any bells?

Bore da pawb.
6.8 for me today.

Last night I took the family out to Pizza Express on a whim. It was magnificent but good grief, the amount of carbs I ate!
I was feeling very smug two hours later at 7.2, but three hours after that my BG snuck up to 12.3 and wouldn't come down. Inspected the cannula - the infusion site couldn't cope with the amount of insulin and had started leaking
So I'm pretty happy with a 6.8 this morning!

Normal day at school today. Will be watching the next instalment of Murder is Easy with Book Group. I've just had my termly meeting with my student librarians and they were very happy to receive Easter chocolates. All the kids are absolutely whacked, you can tell it's approaching the end of term. 1 week to go and I'm so glad it's finally Friday!

Have a great day everyone.

@PattiEvans Thanks for the warning. I remember your incident of low sodium making you so ill and needing emergency hospital treatment. Don't think there is any risk of that for me as I eat cheese daily so should get enough from that to prevent any serious issues and have no plans to change that.

I remember us doing Cat Bells when my daughters were quite small and they were so proud to go back to school and boast they had climbed a mountain. To them the achievement was as good as doing Everest.
The youngest got a taste for it as she did a trek up into Himalayas and then Kilimanjaro.

Sun's gone AWOL, along with the blue skies, but at least it's mild enough not to have to wrap up and our central heating hasn't needed to come on.

5.6 this morning, and weekly BP check OK at 119/64.

Friday, so Big Shop and I'll be accompanying my wife this afternoon when she picks up the elderly lady's dog for its walk. I started going with her when she was walking it in the dark, but it's a good hour's exercise so I've just carried on.

Whatever your plans, enjoy the day.

Morning lovelies 🙂

6.8 for me today.
Currently having a rotten time of it with almost everything flaring up at once. Fibro and hEDS leading the charge so feeling pretty bloody naff indeed.

Hope you all have a spectacular weekend!
Squidges to all xo
