Group 7-day waking average?

Morning a 6.3 for me and such a busy day.Early appointment on the Wirral 2 hours later jumped in car fir another 2 hour job in Cheshire then met at Garden Centre for a late lunch which was a bowl of soup.
Back home and walked dogs and just catching up and will have more time tomorrow but planning a lazy night.

I certainly recall clubbing before age 18. It wasn't illegal, providing you didn't drink alcohol.
Bacardi isn’t alcoholic is it? 😛Because that’s what I used to drink, if it is that would explain the throwing up down a lamppost on my way home one night! 😱

OMG! Bacardi !!! Back in those days my tipple was half a shandy, just the one to last all night - how times have changed!

I’m the other way. I hardly drink now. And as for Bacardi, I’d have to be desperate now! NB That’s never going to happen.

My 7 day average is 10.5. I have been on Ozempic for 6 months now and on Metformin now - the dose was doubled 3 days ago.

So I am slowly coming down, without medication a year ago I was averaging 13/14.

9.9 this morning, 9.7 yesterday.

Monitoring my steps now with my Oura ring and averaging 6,500 daily and rising.

I'll keep you posted on progress !

Good morning! A Heinz special (5.7) for me. Woke up for no apparent reason and remembered I had not taken my last antibiotic of the course so better late than never!

Nothing on today bar an early supermarket delivery. With the muggy head induced by the antibiotics I booked the wrong day and now a 7:00am delivery was all I could get unless I wanted to be hungry! :(

Cloudy.

Morning all. 5.2! Fish pie for tea at 7.15. Only 4.6 before bolusing so knocked a unit off, by 9.30 I was 12! Mashed potato is still my nemesis! But I held my nerve and opted not to have a correction and I won, again! Small victories. 😉

Been awake since 5am, mind whirring as usual. Pointless tossing and turning, so here I am. Actually got a quiteish day, no childcare, no funeral planning, possibly a trip to registry office if the ME finally calls! Luckily, it’s five minutes away. I’m planning on ironing, It’s overdue, making a pan of soup for tomorrow’s lunch and taking some time out, maybe. We’re actually going out tonight, we were bought tickets to see Miles Jupp, comedian, actor, writer, at a local venue, so we’re off there, that should offer some light relief. There you go @ColinUK we do have culture up here too! 😛

@Lisa65 sorry about your job, have you any plans moving forward? I’ve been made redundant twice, from the same company funnily enough, it’s not the nicest thing. Good luck in whatever you decide.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning - 4.6

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all. 5.8

Yesterday’s many things to do were all good. Olivier induction was v basic and basically was just how to book tickets through the office. The Queer Britain volunteer info day/assessment thing was fun and challenging as well. They confirmed that we’re all going to be formally invited to volunteer as we all have something to offer.

Aida in the evening was great. Yesterday they had a flurry of cast changes due to illness with Radamès, Aida and Amonasro all being played by different people than initially planned. Aida was a house debut in the role, Radamès has played it many times but was in Korea and flew in yesterday from Seoul apparently landing at Heathrow at 3pm. Both were great.

Friend enjoyed it but said “no more ballet or opera!” as we left

Off to Battersea power station today and going up the lift that’s in one of the iconic chimney stacks. Lunch down there too.

GM to one and all,

5.3 for me, I understand the fof /dawn phenomena thingy but at what point of waking do people test their bg? I tend to get up, go downstairs and then test. I wonder if that makes any difference?

Today is full of meetings, will need all my resolve to ignore biscuuts etc that are usually available and somehow placed on front of me. Sigh.

Wishing everyone a happy Wednesday

Buenos días! 5'6.

On this day, 5 years ago, I moved to England looking for a better life. Today I had to wake up at 5 for work, so that didn't go to plan 😛

(Jk. I moved to be with my girlfriend at the time)

5 years means I can now apply for Settled Status, aka indefinite leave to live and work in the UK. I will start the process this week.

Morning a 5.6 for me but a flatfish overnight and juggled the insulin well.Actually decided to go to bed low so about 4.2 and took 3 Dextrose but nothing else.Went low again 4 at midnight and another 3 Dextrose but then stayed below 6 all night so very pleased.
I did go through a spell of going to bed lower and I don’t get any overnight hypo anxiety and sleep well but I gradually went to bed higher but I really need to get back to my previous habit as getting the overnight control is pivotal ( know my basal is correct at 6u).
Trip to Shropshire today but admin to do after busy day yesterday.
Anyway enjoy all

Cloudy.

Good morning II! Waited an hour after taking the antibiotic as my BG had dropped further and was on a downhill trend. Ate at 4.1. This morning 7.6

Waiting on delivery. Thinking I should have ordered some kippers as have time for a leisurely breakfast ! 🙂

Still cloudy.

9.1 this morning. I was very naughty yesterday as I had a while takeaway pizza *and* some garlic bread. Haven't had that treat for months and I really needed it!

Fell asleep before I could take my bedtime reading also so no chance to correct a high and to be honest, I'm surprised it wasn't worse.

Video call today with a broker client and a training webinar on how to read legal documents and then a tempo run in the training calendar.

Happy hump day everyone 🙂
