Group 7-day waking average?

5.4 for me this morning and we have blue sky and sunshine rather than the dunkelflaute that's been a feature of the past week or so. Normal life resumes today after our weekend away - two WFH, catching up with the laundry, doing some grocery shopping and my regular Tuesday swim.

Sorry to hear about your day @Gwynn I hope today is better.

Have a good day, all.

10.1

Have the GP today about my hand - been 7 weeks now and still not right. Going to ask if it could be a diabetes thing or a stress thing I think. It just doesn’t tick any compressed nerve boxes any more.

Afternoon all! Had a lie in, of sorts, 5.4.

Frost this morning but the sunshine isn’t anywhere in sight. Some of the B&Q order came yesterday but not all. Another day waiting in for deliveries, TBF I am awaiting a dinner set today. I had a massive Christmas present buying splurge yesterday, so parcels everyday this week. I’m almost finished ( smug emoji).

Mr Eggy will be putting in his posts for the raised bed, I’ll be doing something as exciting I expect too! 😉

Have a grand day, you’ll need your gloves! I got mine out on Saturday, that’ll be me until April now!

Whilst waiting for B&Q yesterday I stared out into the garden as it was a beautiful day. Mr sparrowhawk spent quite a long time malingering under the bird feeders in the apple tree. He wasn’t lucky this time. The sparrows, finches and tits were though! I can’t help but admire his patience and his beauty.

Morning and a 5.1 from me after a very high carb evening meal and juggling the insulin to compensate.
Couple of days holiday so more leaf clearing and trips to tip ( I am living the high life).
Really hope your situation improves Gwynn.
Hope you all have a good week

A 4.7 for me this morning. 🙂

5.5 this cold morning on the boat moored in Penkridge.

Yesterday’s weather was good though and we had a nice slow cruise along the canal from Tixall Wide to Penkridge and a lovely meal in The Boat pub here.

Here’s Deptmore Lock on our way yesterday - nice Autumn day.

@Gwynn- so sorry to hear of how things are with your wife, it must be so upsetting. Sending hugs.

Take care everyone.

Morning all. 8.9 which quickly dropped to 6.3. Things seem to be a bit better atm (ssshhh, don't let the DF hear i said that).

I have an ex colleague coming for a cuppa this morning which will be lovely as i haven't seen her for about 18 months but apart from that nothing is planned.

Good morning today was a nice 5.3
look's like it was the pump still waiting to get a refund and a new one so for know I'm with the old and trustable pen and BS monitor
Have a good day all 😉

Morning everyone, it’s a happy 5.5 for me today and the sun is shining again.

Have a good day everyone and stay well.

Morning all and 5.4 for me.

Tickets for our hometown gig have started flying out the window. Amount remaining in single digits. We normally don't do brilliantly at home so we are well chuffed

Got a surprise phone call re a TV quiz show which I'd applied for a couple of years ago. I've got a Zoom audition in a few weeks.

Have a good day everyone.

5.5 for me nurse thinks they may have to reduce my insulin

Ooh which quiz? My youngest was on The Chase a few years ago. She didn’t win ( she went for the big money) but gave The Governess a run for her money. Good luck. She did her audition in the flesh in Durham.

I was on Eggheads in the early noughties. We lost. All rounds went way into twenty or so questions as it was level pegging all the way. Apart from mine as I didn’t get a question right!

Update:

I Decided to do something nice for my wife and got her a box of her favourite chocolates. She hadn't appeared by 12pm this morning so I went looking for her and gave her the present. She melted and floods of tears were shed. a completely different, happier person emerged!!

Crisis over!! Phew!

What a great looking bunch! And good to see everyone in sensible walking footwear (we’ll ignore the chap in the white trainers!)
You can't see because I'm at the back but I was wearing my trusty Karrimor boots, which are about 20 years old but still look good for another 20.
