Before Tea/Evening Meal

I was brought up on Marmite as my dad was vegetarian, so it was always Marmite gravy and added to veggie dishes and on toast.
I also had as a hot drink, probably far too salty for today's reduced salt culture.
I dont like Marmite or boverl i can not stand the smell or taste to either of these

For a while as a child, I used to make myself a hot drink with an Oxo cube. I tried Marmite and Bovril as drinks but found them too strong-tasting.

And it's a 5.7 for me on this dry sunny day.
.

good evening 5.3 tonight

following 2 trips to the hospital today (don’t worry both were planned) unlike the multiple visits last week

this morning I drove as it was to see audiology, then this afternoon I walked as it was DMO clinic
walking there and back was around 13K steps, and glad it was a few degrees warmer AND DRY today
Ok where we live, but localy like many places we have some localised flooding following Storm Bert

After an incredibly stressful day which resulted in a headache and bonkers BG variation (double dip hypo and late afternoon a steady rise despite not eating anything) an 11.6. Weather equally variable starting partially overcast leading to brilliant sunshine before becoming, grey and overcast mid-afternoon.

not many of us checking in here tonight, or is that I can’t see the usual posts ??

after a very long and stressful day at work for me today, with more time spent online via videoconferencing as. A new accreditation was thrown at me that for me had to be trained for and completed today, but got there in the end (just)

was nice to see a HS tonight before a slightly late evening meal

@MikeyBikey hopefully tomorrow will be a better day all round

A very bad day !! went out for lunch yesterday and again today with hubby, my reading this afternoon was 6.3 not good 😡

Please stop beating yourself up! 6.3 is a good result! InRange on Libre II is 3.9 to 10.0 and my consultant always told me the average for a non-diabetic, and therefore perfection, is 5.6. He never mentioned 5.2 (HS).

Great point! I sometimes wonder if there's too much focus on this forum (and in this thread in particular) on one-off numbers, that may lead to people feeling anxious or guilty - and possibly being unrealistic about what's achievable or even healthy, given that presumably almost all of us reading this have diabetes of one form or another.

A 5.7 for me this evening.
.

An 8.1 for me pre-dinner this frosty evening after a busy day out.
.

On this freezing but sunny day I finished Getting My Kicks in Route 6.6! I thought it might be higher as I struggled to keep my BG above 5.0 during physio as despite reducing my insulin I worked my way through 5xJBs, 4-fingers of Kit-Kat and a Yorkie Bar! I will let you work out the total carbs! 🙂

you won't believe this but a HS again tonight
and this is following a HS this morning (that I haven't yet posted on the waking thread) although I was up just before 6am this morning
megga busy @work at the moment
