Group 7-day waking average?

I can't get under the double figures, 10s but I can't say no that's the problem. Was going to 'be good' today till somebody came in and gave me chips and mushy peas from the chippy on the front. That chippy is far too near. 😱

Congratulations on another HS @Pam123
You seem to get them fairly often so do tell.......
Is it indicative of your good diabetes management.......or do you have a side deal going on with the diabetes fairy??

Seriously I love that this thread celebrates the little victories as well as sharing the everyday tribulations of living with diabetes.

To be honest I think its a bit of both, being on insulin and having a CGM really helps a lot.

And a Len is a 7.0 and if you’ve ever watched Strictly you might be able to work out why!

It’s just a bit of a giggle. 5.2 was decided to be the optimum waking reading, not too high, not too low, just right, so the phrase 'House Special' to describe it evolved.
Ah, ok, I thought it might be a bit of an inside joke (obviously not meant to exclude anyone), but I've seen it referred to a number of times and I was curious.

And a Len is a 7.0 and if you’ve ever watched Strictly you might be able to work out why!
Not that I ever watch it, but even I got that one  . Unfortunately I'm a good way off either of those atm, but maybe one day.

Sorry for my absence the last 2 days? And I’ll just post this now while I remember before the start of the new cdrama tomorrow & I’ll be very distracted. I wasn’t sure at first especially with BS no longer drifting down with too much basal I caught up on my sleep but, my BS rose higher & going higher in between meals after 2 days so, definitely know 49 basal is too little: just a bit precipitous changing the basal to 49 on the last day 3 of 50; yes, I was drifting very, very slowly down that day but, it was the very tail end of the higher 52 dose! So, after highs all day yesterday, I’m putting basal back up to 50 later today!

A Very Good Morning to you all & have a Wonderful Day! 😉

In between watching the second half of season 7 of Great Escape & the new cdrama I will be distracted but, will try to remember to post the odd time but, if I forget, you’ll know what I’m doing: it takes me AGES to watch each episode of Great Escape as there are SO many on screen funny editorial comments that are not translated with the English subs; my Mandarin has improved SO much that I can hear a lot more on the first round of a totally new cdrama I haven’t watched yet, obviously, but, it’s still the first round & need to get to know what historical terms is being used! So, I’ll be watching 2 Chinese shows at the same time over & over again to hear all the dialogue that I can: I’m still learning! It was like that last summer into the autumn when Great Escape is on & some other cdrama is on at the same time! 🙄o_O:D But, I love it! 😛<3:party:

Morning and a 6.7 for me and another flat night and glad it is below 7 and apart from a late afternoon rise managed to keep it within range much better than recently.
Had a visit to a garden centre yesterday for our free coffees and we had lunch out and another one planned today whilst finished off Pizza last night.
Couple of short walks and bit of time in garden but just too warm for much else and just watched telly on catch up.
Going to have a week off B/H week and not going anywhere but think a break will be good.
Anyway going to attempt a longer walk today just to get back into routine as weather looking much fresher this week.

A very early good morning. A shocking (for me) 8.5! I was convinced my Libre was telling porkies as I inadvertently knocked it and it was pulling away from my arm, a quick Elastoplast repair last night did the trick. But, alas, my meter concurs. I'm blaming the rice I had with the goulash for tea, and Mr Eggy! We were given a big box of shortbread and I was saving it for visitors, he decided to open it yesterday and the temptation was just too much before bed last night, my BGs were under 7 so had just the one, oops! Been in the 8s all night. Lesson learnt.

I'm up early as I have had a decent sleep. 10.30 to 5am, that is really good for me. Been awake since then, but I feel quite refreshed. The farmers' daughters will be getting picked up this morning. It's been fun, if not exhausting, lots of walking, in the heat, lots of eating in the sunshine, lots of laughter, lots of mess! I wouldn't have it any other way, but looking forward to a quiet couple of days before the next childcare session on Wednesday.

Have a great day.

Morning all.

Sex tape for me this morning.

That’s a 6.9 for those who don’t know… because of this….

Clueless yesterday was fine but I could totally understand why it is closing early when compared to Heathers, Legally Blonde or Mean Girls. It’s just not as well crafted a show as any of those were.

Good morning all
6.6 for me
Bad nights sleep, only got 2.5 hours because of knee (sorry long running saga)
Feeling very milertent about my rights today.
Not doing much today feeling lazy
Hope everyone is well and happy in themselves. Lots of love to each and everyone of you. As always extra special wishes to anyone on their own and or struggling
Love to my online family

Morning all. A 7.3 for me, but then my BGs unexpectedly crashed on a very brief dog walk. Weird!

Any interesting wildlife? During the initial period between lockdown and amputation I got some hedgehogs and a young fox!
Don't ask my husband that question, it's his favourite topic! Over the years we've seen: a female wild boar and her youngsters, deer, foxes, a snake (eek!), polecats, lizards and all the various birds and insects that I no longer see in the UK. And inside the house a rodent called a lorín which looks like a small possum - it's a type of dormouse, apparently.

Morning all. 🙂 6.4 for me.

It rained overnight so it's nice and cool atm. Best get these dogs walked before it heats up. Then, I'll nip into town for the newspaper. Last night was the last night of the local fiestas so sore heads all round this morning. I don't have the stamina these days for an all- nighter!

Have a relaxing Sunday.
