Group 7-day waking average?

Saw the GP this afternoon. Went through lots of detail and reviewed meds plus the supplements I take.
All of them are fine apart from biotin. He said it plays havoc with lots of blood tests so yes I can continue to take it, no it doesn’t have any negative impact on medications but the guidance is to stop taking it three days before any blood test.
He did say that Mounjaro and metformin can interfere with each other and cause very low blood sugar levels. I pointed out that I had my first “wobble” two years ago and only started taking MJ in September. So that’s unlikely to be the cause.
He doesn’t think it’s postural and said it would be very unusual symptoms for TIA, but of course medicine isn’t perfect etc…
First step is full suite of bloods and an ECG. Then it’ll be a three day harness ECG thing and a referral to neurology.

Well hello again (at last).

After my life has bern turned up side down, my wife being hospitalised again, a better outcome eventually, things are better and more stable. My wife is home, much happier, on better meds too.

My blood pressure has been through the roof but has settled down again.

My blood glucose has been fine all through the various traumas and today just to celebrate this morning it was 5.2 and this even it was 5.2. Yes, a double HS today.

Sorry I have been away for so long but lifes trials have left me crushed but things will continue to improve given time.

Nice to see you back, we were wondering how you were but realised you would no doubt be here when you were ready. I hope your wife is more settled now and her new meds will be more satisfactory.
But do take care of yourself as well and take things day at a time.

@Gwynn - great to see you back on here and with some positive news (and a double HS to boot!). Sending you all my best wishes and be kind to yourself.

And just for you, I thought you’d perhaps have a chuckle at this one :

@Gwynn I’m glad you’re back. You’ve been missed immensely.

Welcome back @Gwynn So glad to hear your wife is home and hope that life is better for you both. :star::star: for your HS and :care: to remind you we care

Morning all.

6.8

Not the best of sleeps, not the worst of sleeps.

Volunteering at the museum today.

What a wonderful greeting from everyone. Thank you.

Well, just to be completely superior 🙂 This morning at 5am my blood glucose was again 5.2. My new GlucoRX machine must be faulty!

Yes, I got a new BG machine completely out of the blue.

I'll not go into the details but the last few months have been devastating.

My wife now is a lot better. Unusually for her she got up at 5am this morning and has been playing her keyboard and singing since then! I just hope the neighbours don't complain. We do live in a detached house so we are probably ok.

Our squirrels are fine. At one point we had 4. Now just 2.

I am still composing songs and my technique has improved a lot especially in the recording area. I will hopefully present one of my songs to the church at the end of may.

Bless you all for your kindness.

Gwynn

Morning and a 6.1 for me.
Great to have you back @Gwynn and congrats on the HS and wish you and your wife a stable and happy future.
Stayed fairly level but up early as have the starting of a cold or is it man flu.
Another nice day yesterday and even nicer one planned today on the Welsh borders or Marches and a nice lunch out.
Very much in wind down mode and dog update is he is an even bigger Star than if he had a weeks worth of HSs ( mind you @Gwynn may achieve that if he keeps going) is now walking on his bad leg.
Have a great day

Morning all. 6.4.

Meeting friends for lunch today, it’s been a while since we got together. Looking forward to that. Got things to organise for our weekend away, not clothes, it’s Center Parcs not the Savoy! Food mostly, we’ve got one meal booked on the Saturday, which we’re paying for as it’s my birthday, but it is far too expensive to eat out all weekend. Takeaway on the first night and cook our own tea on Sunday. Make our own breakfasts and lunches too. Lots of snacks and drinks for the kids will be required too no doubt. We’ll still spend a fortune though. Captive audience. Ah well, you can’t take it with you.

Nice to see you back @Gwynn and nice to hear your wife is doing well.

Have a wonderful Wednesday. It’s wet here, but I won’t complain.

Morning all. A very shocking 12.7 which shot to 14.9 with FOTF and now 11.8 and dropping. At bedtime i was a decent 6 something which suddenly dropped to 4 with a downward arrow. I had a sip of juice and a teaspoonful of peanut butter which stopped the drop but obviously pushed me up overnight. I don't remember the alarm going off but it must have as its set for 10.

Today is the weekly food shop and seeing a friend this afternoon. Its overcast again here and rain is forecast along with winds.

Have a good day everyone and congrats on the HS @Gwynn.

Morning all, 7.4 here, continuing my run in the 7s.
It sounds windy outside, a big gust woke me up about an hour ago, no more rain, but it did shower yesterday lunchtime.
We've had a muntjac in our garden , we get one from time to time, and they usually confine themselves to browsing the bottom leaves off the apple trees, and the roses. (We put wire netting round all our veg beds.) I was very dischuffed to find yesterday evening, when I wandered outside, that they’d polished off the petals from my tulips, which had been looking lovely!
