Group 7-day waking average?

I did enjoy the 1st and 2nd books. Didn't skip any scenes :D but was a bit surprised at first because I expected it to be a more "teenage" series. There's a whole lot of swearing too! A friend let me borrow the 3rd book but I've not had time to start yet, I've got a few other books in queue...
I actually ordered these in for my school library on request but found out about the more mature content when checking the age advice... glad I always check! It's Sixth Form only now!

Funny about micropore tape, it would seem everyone's skin make up is different. Micropore tape will not stick to me... or not for long anyway. When I did bother to put anything over my sensors I used Opsite, which was good, but I no longer bother with anything. I think in all the time I've been using the sensors, which was long before they were on prescription I have only had 3 drop off and at least one of those was from over-diligent application of suntan lotion.

Bit dull here, but we have lost that freezing wind and it's a lot warmer.

5.9 this morning which immediately changed to 7.2 before my eyes!

Not doing anything spectacular today, though we need to choose our excursions for our river cruise. They have just been published today. Also I have to start the online training for the Ypsomed pump that I'm picking up tomorrow, though official training is not until 1 May. Plus there's a small pile of ironing, I doubt that will get done!

Blue sky only just breaking out and spreading.....

Congratulations @freesia and @Martin.A on your HSs.

Have a good day all

late today 5.6 this morning had a shock in the night high sugar alarm went off never happened before it was 13.4 no idea why only had a couple of crackers with cheese on for supper, ive turned it off now as there is no point having it on as I don't have any fast acting insulin to correct it, anyway its the first time ive had that since ive had a CGM in over a year, it was 7 when I checked it and it jumped to the dizzy hights 30 minutes later

Morning all, 6.6 on YET another frosty morning. -2. Must be almost two weeks since we’ve had any rain.

Yesterday was a glorious day, tee shirt weather at the back of our garden on the decking. Mr Eggy and Zara planted some more tomato seeds in the greenhouse and broccoli and leeks in the garden. Me and Eden “played” football and throwing stones into little pots, she’s such a live wire and I was run ragged trying to keep her from danger, two ponds, numerous steps as we have a terraced garden, it’s not really a toddler friendly garden, I feel I’ve been doing this for 39 years, oh wait, I have!

Today will be much of the same. Helping with swimming day today, which usually is just youngest daughter and two granddaughters for lunch, about 8 o’clock last night this suddenly evolved into three daughters, two youngest granddaughters, eldest granddaughter and youngest grandson! Luckily, my freezer has always got something in, I’ve pulled out a tub of adult cauli soup, two small tubs of child friendly cauli soup, ie no salt or pepper, two tubs of Mulligawtawny soup and some cooked ham. I’m hoping the weather will be as good as forecasted ( better than yesterday) and we can eat at the garden table. That’ll save messing my dining room up.

Have a terrific Thursday and I hope the sun shines for you too.

GM

4.6 for me. On my way to work, tube is quite full, guess wfh is almost over.

Today is the Equinox, Spring has arrived. Hooray

Wishing everyone a good day

Günaydın (Turkish for good morning)
After yesterday's back tweak, haircut and Turkish lesson, followed by a stroll to the beach with the dog so she could have a paddle, I thought I'd sleep well, but got engrossed in a book and read until after 2am.
All that reading must have done the trick though because I finally woke up with a 5.2.

Hope you all enjoy your day :D

*Shuffles in sheepishly*

Well hello everyone. I don't even want to think about how long it's been since I last posted.

Hope you're all doing OK. I've missed being here - it's one of those things where I fell out of the habit of logging in - and then would remember at times when I couldn't, then forget again ... rinse, repeat. But I've definitely missed the conversations and support.

So, hello again!

5.8 for me this morning. I've had my struggles with managing my diabetes over the last couple of months (another reason for wanting to be here again - the support and motivation here has always been the best) and haven't been testing very rigorously or consistent so relieved that, since starting to monitor again, my numbers are still within normal ranges for me.

Anyway, I'm off to "Kindness" training today. Kind of sad that this has become mandatory in the NHS but I understand why.

Hope everyone else has good days planned.

Morning all. I've only gone and done it again!! Never have i ever got 2 HS in a row!!!

After yesterdays busy day, today all i have is a GP appointment this morning. The sun is already shining and its going to be a warm day. I might do a bit of gardening then sit outside with my book.

Congrats on the HS @Lisa65

גוט מאָרגן - Which is Yiddish for good morning 🙂

Busy day yesterday. Lots of physical work. Was a carb heavy day too yesterday and I was hungry all day. Imagine my surprise with a 5.2 this morning!

Kaftans have been delivered to mum and dad’s house so I’ll collect those tomorrow. Flowers I had delivered last week for mum’s birthday I’ve had refunded as they were half dead on arrival. Missing an order from Boots that is now 9 days overdue so been chasing that without success.

Interview this AM with a journalist about Mounjaro. Then the joy and excitement of filling in my PIP renewal form. Dunno if I’ll cope with the excitement.

Morning all, 3.5, allegedly. I think my sensor is telling porkies, but I’ve left my test strips downstairs. It suddenly told me I was 2.9 while watching telly last night, but a finger prick said 7.0, which was more like what I was expecting. Then it recovered. It had better buck its ideas up, or I’ll be telling on it.

Morning all. 6.1 for me before breakfast. Looks like another lovely day here weather-wise.

Have a great day everyone..

Morning all. 6.3 here.

Another lovely sunny morning. Dog walk first, then lesson planning and admin. My work laptop had a spasm last night so it was a tech-free class - luckily, I always take the course book and some colourful resources with me, so I could still follow my lesson plan.

There’s a happier-than-usual mood at work atm cos some of the staff are retiring next week - we’re having a tea party to send ‘em off. A tea party? They’re in their 60s LOL! Should be fun though but sad to see them go.

Welcome back @BobbleHat.

Morning all a lovely first day of spring. Think i may go out on Indie later. Just wanna feel the suns rays on my skin.
Had a carb laden Ginsters Cornish pastry last night with salad leaves for tea Went to bed on a 10.7
This morning it was 6.1 not bad considering that lot.
Have discovered Gemini on phone so now ii dont use or carry carbs/cals I just ask her and up it pops
You all have a good safe happy day
Love to you all
Gail

Good morning. 6.7 for me but levels have swung the other way again and instead of jelly babies I needed to inject insulin despite a very physically active day and a walk. I will have a dilemma about how much Levemir to inject tonight if any. BP testing so far (day 2) suggests I am probably going to need meds as just a tad higher than they like and that is with breathing exercises each time before I test. My heart rate is running 10 higher than normal as well. Something isn't quite right.

@BobbleHat Welcome back. No need to feel guilty for an absence. I had a long absence last year but it is good to be back.

Morning

4.6 today, taking mum to Spa Medica for her laser treatment this morning, then staying with her for a few hours as she needs drops in the eye being treated.

@ColinUK @Lisa65 @freesia - congratulations on your HS today.
@Martin.A - belated congratulations for your HS yesterday.

@BobbleHat - nice to see you posting again.

@eggyg - how is your granddaughter’s back now?

Morning All - another person who's been AWOL and not sure how that happened! 6.8 for me this morning. I had a long weekend in Meribel, France this weekend just gone to celebrate a friend's 60th. It was lovely - I wasn't skiing but loved just walking around and going up on cable cars etc and basically people watching for 3 days. Had planned to eat sensibly and sort of managed to but also did have some cake and chocolate. No weight gain though according to my scales so that's a bonus. Loving this spring weather we're having. Have a good day everyone xxx
