Wordle - Quordle Thread

Started them early hours but couldn't access Octordle, so finished them this morning....

Wordle in 4
Quordle 6 9 8 3 =26
Octordle for 59

Total = 89
 
I failed Quordle AGAIN!! I had three possibilities and two lives left for the final word, and guess what…
Wordle in 4, because I remembered their tendency for words like that.
Octordle in 62 because I knocked it off quickly in a fairly relaxed manner.
 
Better day on Quordle today, than recently!

We had a three way tie on the weekly, I think. I chose last week, so does either @rebrascora or @Rob Oldfield want to pick tomorrow’s word?
 
I propose DIRTY since I have been shifting horse manure the last few days 🙄 and you had CLEAN last week. It kind of seems appropriate but happy to go with whatever Rob wants to suggest.
 
I just had a resounding disaster. I had a reasonably good Quordle but bombed out of both Octordle AND Wordle 😡 Clearly not thinking straight this morning or not disciplined enough to think it through.

Octordle DNF
 
Struggled with them all - Wordle and Quordle one life left, and to the wire with Octordle with a 50/50 that a few goes earlier was a choice of 4! Leaving weekly for a while.

Wordle in 5
Quordle in 8 for. 24 (5, 7, 4, 8)
Octordle to the wire for 70

Total Score 99! A ice cream for me! :rofl:
 
Daily started with a 3 on Wordle, then moved on to Octordle. Started well but ended up with the last 3 words all with 4+ possibilities so had to be careful not to run out of room and ended with a 57. Quordle came in with a 3, 6, 7, 5 for 21 and a total of 81.

Weekly was a 7, 3, 4, 6 for 20.

I then flunked the Weekly Challenge but not as badly as @Robin as I had 2 options on the last word and chose the wrong one, so only one X for me.
 
Grand total for the usual three was 87 (4+24+59). Weekly challenge score was 21.

Well I just scraped the DIRTY Weekly! No silly words or spellings just an awkward combination!

Mikey, I am guessing that 8 should be a 9 if it went to the wire and adds up to 24??

Well spotted! No body got a nine nine bob note past you when you brought your copy of Seventeen

I notice that although I edited my original post the copy in yours remains unchanged - so the post is copied rather than using a pointer!
