I'm listening to a Slade LP. It's called "Play It Loud" and I am :D

You can find it on youtube.
It's interesting listening to their early stuff, before they'd fully 'found their voice'. I wasn't aware of Slade until 'Cum On Feel the Noize' but now I like all their music, in their various styles. My favourite era is 'Slade in Flame', when they were adding more reflective songs to their 'stomping'. I love the film, even though at the time people were puzzled and disappointed that it was so downbeat, rather than another 'A Hard Day's Night'.

I used to live in Wolverhampton and Dave Lee was well known there for giving music lessons (for free) at a local school for children with additional needs.

I'm a Slade nut Cliff. I have all their 45s CDs and the DVD of Flame. I've met Noddy at a book signing and he even signed my Old New Borrowed and Blue LP for me. Most days I listen to Slade on the record player. I have had to replace many copies of their vinyl as I thrashed it as a teenager.
