Yeah I feel Nirvana ripped off this tune with “come as you are?” (Also seen KJ live.)
Great - although I prefer Jerry Lee's versionYou are My Sunshine - Johnny Cash
I was planning on watching and listening to the biggest electronic dance music festival in the world in Belgium (Tomorrowland) this weekend but they had a little fire yesterday on the main stage

Might not quite be the same as previous years![]()
He did one of my music heroes a big favour: he pulled out of the Reading Festival in 1980 at the last minute and Slade stepped in. They were at a low point in their career and on the point of splitting up but they blew the crowd away ("Is it loud enough?") and resurrected their career on the spot. One of my music heroes has died
RIP Ozzy Osbourne

Ive always blamed slade for my love of loud music and i know exactly the performance you meanHe did one of my music heroes a big favour: he pulled out of the Reading Festival in 1980 at the last minute and Slade stepped in. The audience started singing, "So here it is, Merry Christmas" - in August. Def Leppard had to follow their performance (which included Noddy conducting the audience in a chorus of, "You'll Never Walk Alone", as well as a PG-rated version of "The Okey Cokey"): the audience booed them and were calling for Slade to come backIve always blamed slade for my love of loud music and i know exactly the performance you mean
When I was a kid in London, Wolverhampton was just a place 'up North' where Slade came from. However, later in life I lived and worked in Wolves. I also worked in Walsall (where Noddy was from) and heard his voice in an exhibit at Cadbury World ("That were a bit of a laff!"). I sometimes worked at a school in Wolves for children with additional needs: apparently Dave Hill used to occasionally give music lessons there (for free). Slade never forgot their roots.Ive always blamed slade for my love of loud music and i know exactly the performance you mean

Shame it's not in Walsall town centre, as that's where Noddy's from - not Wolves.![]()
