Just read the news that today Nico will play his final gig with Maiden tonight in São Paulo. Apparently a replacement is lined up and will be announced shortly. Personally I think they should call it a day sooner rather than later, and leave the stage on a high.

Here's the first song of Maiden with Nico in the drums, making a big entrance.

Where Eagles Dare is the opening song of the Piece of Mind album, which was the first where Nico played, all the way back in 1983.
