Group 7-day waking average?

Wendal were in every day. Me and Young Jed from penshaw ( the dog ) Get you a cuppa and a cake out of the farm bakery.Their peach melbas are famous.
Love it Colin and book me a table.
Is Penshaw the Hill where the “ Lambton Worm” wrapped himself around?. Can’t remember the words of the song apart from first verse and chorus.
Take you pick re BG as been all over place but only flat line was a 4.7 so will go with that.
As you all know normally you have a really good feel for how your body responds to things but every 6 months I seem to have a little spell where by BG does not seem to respond in normal way so does not rise as normal after food.
To compound matters my new sensor did not seem to working so I was limited on readings but I felt low so basically tried and reduce the number of variables so no walks/ exercise and stopped the insulin ( so none with evening meal and no basal).
So my low alarm went off despite toast before bed and 3 Dextrose at 3am then more toast this morning.
When my sensor got some readings I had spent a lot more time in Red than usual so it has given me a very low TIR for me but a very low average BG.
So see how today pans out but no insulin until it gets above 7-8 at least as I know then it may be heading up.
WFH today and especially with BG being so variable and yes it is nice being able to eat more but I don’t like eating for the sake of it and no walking is a bind.
Anyway have a good B/H w/ end

PS did bring our dog back from the Vets yesterday after her dental.
Nine teeth out and a 2nd procedure in a fortnight to take another 3 out but she is doing fine but we have to keep one of our dogs away from her as he is de opted to her and would sniff around and pester her and she would likely react with the unwanted attention.

Morning folks. 🙂 4.6 here.

Ooo, it's very fresh here this morning, almost autumnal. But the sun's coming over the hills as I type.

It's more pruning and clearing this morning, then we're taking the puppy into town for some friends to "meet" her. I had no idea they were dog lovers.

A café in a bookshop @eggyg - one of my favourite things!

Whopping 8.3 for me this morning an hour ago. No clear reason other than feeling rough yesterday and decidedly a couple of degrees under. Tested again just now and it’s 6.2. Oh I did eat two bananas yesterday which is a thing I’ve not eaten in yonks but bought a bunch the other day as I thought they can’t do much harm. Let’s test pre and post banana and see.

Morning all, 6.1 here. Feels autumnal here too. Maybe the pony was right after all, he suddenly started shedding hair last week, in the middle of the heatwave, a sure sign of him growing his winter coat. (horses are triggered by day length as to when they grow or shed their winter coat, so the weather makes no difference, but it didn’t stop me telling him he was a silly boy)

Morning all. Woke up this morning to a 3.5 on finger prick. Ooops! After speaking to Abbott yesterday (they are replacing the sensor) i took off that one as the constant high alarms (false) were too much. The sensor would say i was in the teens but finger pricks were showing i was nowhere near, then it would drop before suddenly shooting up again and setting the alarm back off. Anyway, i had an afternoon yesterday and last night relying on my body and finger pricks while the new sensor bedded in. I'll activate it this afternoon.

Nothing planned for today apart from cleaning and ironing. Weather says its going to be 22° but it looks quite cloudy and cool out there atm. Hopefully it will dry the two loads of washing i have.

Anyway, have a good day everyone.

Morning folks. It’s a 6.0 for me today, not bad considering I had a Chinese take-away last night.

Have a good day everyone and stay well.

A 6.4 for me today. 🙂 We're expecting a delivery from DHL - I wonder if they'll c*ck it up again like several times before.

Dez

Good morning a double Len today and was 6.1 yesterday
a busy day (at work) yesterday, and I didn’t get on to post, in-fact it’s been a busy week, but a successful and looks like the month is going to be a rewarding one

hopefully I can finish my work early today to spend some time with my wife this afternoon
Maybe go out looking for a new freezer for in the garage, the old one hasn’t conked out completely just yet, but it’s simply not big enough and we were given it second hand about 18 yrs ago so definitely due a upgrade

It’s feeling very autumnal outside today (even with jeans on)

Have a Fantastic Friday Forum Friends

not bad considering I had a Chinese take-away last night.
Can i ask what you had? I enjoy chinese food but always get a massive spike after.

Good morning all, 6.4 for me.
Had a late night binge watching Call the Midwife! I've not seen this before despite how long it's been around. It's very interesting and I love all the characters.
Not much planned for today but I do have the exciting task of resealing our windows to attend to (a lot of the sealant was removed by our old cat (!) bless her odd ways, and we'd never got around to replacing it again).

Take care all.

Morning all - a beautiful morning it is too!

5.2 this morning - what a surprise! I am happy, who wouldn't be?

Going into town to meet the friends we normally meet on Friday or Saturday later this afternoon. I shall wear the jacket my friend gave me yesterday. I am the recipient of clothes she buys and doesn't wear, but keeps too long to return to the shop. I told her to keep buying clothes she doesn't like as they suit me very well!!!! I will get her something she does like next time we go shopping together.

Julian put the UV film on the front windows yesterday, it's cured the glare of the sun, but the sitting room now seems awfully dark. As does the study. I hate it in the sitting room, but can just about tolerate it in the study.

Hope you all have a lovely day!
