Group 7-day waking average?

Evening
5.5 for me much earlier today. I keep forgetting to visit the forum during the school holidays as I'm so used to doing it at work, and also busy with the child!
I haven't done much today, just a bit more painting but getting tired easily. I'm going to meet with friends at the beach tomorrow but wondering how I'll cope!

Take care all.

It’s easy done, I particularly like the sides, I love tarka dahl and if there’s a few of us I would order it, as well as a Bombay or saag aloo, to share but glad I didn’t have it last night. I don’t even have a starter anymore as they fill me up too much.
I was disappointed when I discovered that tarka dahl wasn’t made with otter.

the 'otter the better for me!
Fun fact; when I was young, many, many years ago I used to think Henry Williamson was a relative of mine as my maiden name was `Williamson and, apart from family, I didn't know anyone else with that surname. I've done my family tree back to mid 1800s and unfortunately he hasn't made an appearance!

Morning all. 🙂 7.4 here.

It's raining! We haven't seen the sun for 3 days, in Spain, in August, wow. I hope it clears up for tonite - the local fiestas start this evening and carry on all next week.

5.2 this morning the first work top is in and we now have a working sink. I didn't know that the solid wood work tops we have bought that cost an arm and a leg had to be dressed with oil, 3 coats straight away then for the first year once a month.
We have solid wood worktops, had them about seven years, we have utterly failed in the maintenance. They looked very lived in! Make sure no one puts hot pans and or their lids on it, or very wet things! I have some "lovely" large rings decorating mine! As Mr Eggy's says, "It's a working kitchen!"

Morning good folks. 5.7 after a rubbish night. Kept waking up for no reason, I've got a splitting headache and neck ache, obviously been laying "funny". I'll get some painkillers soon, after breakfast has hit my stomach.

Nothing exciting today, weather looking a bit up and down, will try and get a walk in sometime.

Have a grand day, if you're able.

You all have a good day, a happy safe one, Extra special thoughts to anyone on their own and or struggling

It’s very easy to get them back to as new. A bit of light sanding and then oil them with food safe danish oil (made from real life Danes) and they’ll be full of gorgeous lustre again. Not that I’d bother other than if they’re really taking a beating by sink or taps for example. I like a lived in kitchen look.

6.0

Saw Freakier Friday yesterday with a friend and we both laughed quite a bit and enjoyed it. Yes it’s nonsense but it’s quite gentle nonsense that’s full of age related observational jokes, “Facebook? What’s that?” “It’s like a database of old people.”

Theatre today, Burlesque, the stage musical based on the Cher and Christina Aguilera film of the same name. It’s been a somewhat troubled production but it has garnered some great reviews so we’ll see.

Also need to do some emergency shopping for yellow clothes or accessories for a march tomorrow calling for the return of the hostages (living or dead) that are still held in Gaza. They’ve asked everyone to wear yellow.

A 5.5 for me today. 🙂

I do like the lived in look too, I found it quite stressful when we first fitted them as I was too scared to do anything and I would shout at anyone within 100 metres of the kitchen to "be careful".

I see you that and raise you the first sofa I ever bought. It was upholstered in silk. White silk.

Morning all. Woke to 2.9 ooopps!!! Its taken a while to get up into the 5s for breakfast and has just started to drop again. One of those days maybe. Just some dusting and cleaning to do today. Its going to be really hot the next few days so the weather says.

@ColinUK i'm going on Monday morning to see Freakier Friday with a friend. I'm glad you said you enjoyed it.

Have a good day everyone.

Had a low at about 1am. The alarm on my watch and phone went off and woke me up. Took some glucose. Waited a bit and then the alarm went off again. The BS was still sinking. Went off again. Waited a bit more. Isn’t it annoying how long it takes for the glucose to kick in? Eventually it was all quiet and I went back to sleep. 5.7 this morning so at least I got the amount of glucose to swallow right. Small mercies …

Quiet day …

Nick
